Exercises are underway by the Islamic Republic of Iran Army Ground Forces in western and southwestern Iran for three days.

The wargames codenamed “Ali ibn Abi Taleb” is to examine the capability of the commanders to oversee the country’s Ground Forces.

The operations are being conducted in the three provinces of Khuzestan, Ilam and Lorestan.
