President Dr. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Monday called on the head of Judiciary to trace and track down the killers of Neda Agha Soltan. The 27-year old Iranian woman was shot dead by an unidentified person, believed to be affiliated to anti-social elements, during the recent riots in some parts of Tehran. According to IRIB, the President in his letter to Ayatollah Mahmoud Hashemi Shahroudi termed the murder of Neda Agha Soltan as suspicious and referring to the West’s feverish propaganda in this regard stressed that there are evidences showing outsiders were involved in her killing.
The president’s letter also says given the marginal issues raised around this tragic event as well as the Western media’s attempts to distort her murder, the involvement of the opponents and enemies of the Iranian nation seem absolute.
