IRAN, BELARUS PARLIAMENT HEADS MEET

larijani700Iran’s Majlis Speaker, Dr. Ali Larijani, met and conferred with Belarusian counterpart, Boris Batura, in Tehran on Tuesday. According to IRIB, Dr. Larijani called for making use of the ample capacities of the two countries in different fields especially in economic and industrial sector through adopting a long term strategy.

He took note of the effective role of the parliaments in expansion of Iran-Belarus relations and expressed Tehran’s readiness to broaden ties with Minsk.
The Iranian Majlis Speaker also shed light on the failure of the unilateral attitude toward the world equations and emphasized close ties between the independent countries in the international developments.
The Belarusian Parliament Speaker, for his part, called for expansion of mutual ties in all areas, stressing his country’s support for Iran’s peaceful nuclear activities.
Earlier, Boris Batura had paid tribute to the Father of the Islamic Revolution, the late Imam Khomeini (may his soul rest in peace) at his mausoleum on Tuesday.
He is to hold talks with other senior Iranian officials including President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Parachinar: Attack on Blashkhel, 3 martyred

imamPARACHINAR: Taliban attacked on BlashKhel the border area of Pak-Afghan in Parachinar (Kurram Agencey) on Tuesday 16th June 2009 at abtou 11:00 A.M. Three innocent people martyred and 17 injured in this barbaric attack.
The members of Turi tribe are resisting the attack and intense fighting was continuing with heavy weapons till the last report came in. The exact number of casualties could not be known because heavy fighting is continuing, however according to hospital sources three dead bodies and seventeen injured have been brought to hospital. Injured include two women and three children of the same family hit by mortar shells. Meanwhile, the elders of Turi and Bangash tribes hold a jirga at the headquarters of Kurram Agency. They decided that they would never allow the Taliban terrorists aggression in Upper Kurram and would resist it. They demanded of the Government and security forces to take strict action.

Earlier on tuesday morning taliban millitants tried to snatch a bank cash of more than twenty millions (Rs20 millions) from the staff of NBP in Sadda city.

Quetta: Syed Talib Agha, Syed Jawad & Hassan Ali Embraced Shahadat

imam-2Yesterday, In Quetta Syed Talib Agha (nazim of Mominabad) and Syed Jawad embraced shahadat while their guard Hassan was injured who also sccumbed to death in hospital. This tragic event took place at 8:00pm, when they were in their office located in Fatima Jinnah road.

Government must start operation in Dera Ismail Khan like Swat, because these terrorists are serious threat for the sovereignty of Pakistan. They are targeting civilians, government officials, and military personal, mosques, hospitals, schools. Thousands of people have lost their lives by the hands of Yazeedi terrorists.
