People in Basra province, southern Iraq expressed hope for their country’s independence through expulsion of occupiers from Iraq.
The people of Basra underlined for their ability for establishment security in the country. They were so happy for withdrawal of US occupying troops from Iraqi cities and provinces, IRIB reported from Basra on Monday.
“I’m sure that the Iraqi forces would establish security in the country. I wish for independent Iraq through withdrawal of US occupiers from all Iraqi cities and provinces,” Majed Mahmoud, 24 said.
Ali Suvadi first vice-president of Basra Security Committee also said the withdrawal of American occupiers is a big victory for Iraqi people.
“We are so happy and hope that the occupiers leave Iraq and the Iraqi forces would bring security to the country,” he added.
