Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, termed events in the Middle East, especially those concerning the chronic issue of the Zionist-usurped land of Palestine, as a sign of positive developments in the region.

In a meeting today with the Majlis Speaker, Deputy Speakers and several lawmakers, he presented a comprehensive analysis of the changing critical conditions in the world, and stated that all these cases are a sign of probable changes in the region.

The Leader of Islamic Revolution said great changes are taking place at the international level concerning the United States and some European countries and their influence.

He referred to the Iranian nation’s unity and awareness and its unique devotion to the ideals of the Father of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini (may his soul rest in peace), and appreciated the unprecedented presence of people in the ceremony marking the 21st anniversary of the passing away of the beloved leader.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Ayatollah Khamenei termed amiable cooperation between the Executive and Legislative Branches of the Iranian government as necessary.

He stressed that cooperation should yield results, since it is not acceptable that both sides claim they have done all the works, and it is for the other side to take the steps.

The Leader made it clear that no notion of defiance on the part of the Legislature should be shown towards the Executive, and there should be no reasons for delaying of work at the Majlis.

He also stressed that the Executive should act according to the laws and the Legislature should make sure in this regard.
