Highlighting the significant and key role of Lebanese resistance in regional developments, he said Iran and Lebanon have established profound relations and are determined to enhance level of relations.

He invited the Lebanese political figures to visit Iran to help broaden ties and cooperation between the two countries.

The arrogant powers are on the brink of fall and annihilation, he said adding that a powerful cultural pole with the name of Iran is now emerging in the world which has powerfully resisted to the bullying powers.

President Ahmadinejad said that the Islamic Iran has brought the global arrogance to its knees and has pushed them to the brink of annihilation.

Israel Preparing to Repeat the “Marmara” Scenario, Lebanon to Respond

Lebanon is preparing to explain its position at the UN Security Council inresponse to Israeli threats to prevent ships that could sail from Lebanese ports in an attempt to break the Israeli siege of the Gaza Strip, Al-Hayat newspaper reported on Sunday.                                                                                                JNN: According to  Ahlul Bayt News Agency , Lebanon is preparing to explain its position at the UN Security Council in response to Israeli threats to prevent ships that could sail from Lebanese ports in an attempt to break the Israeli siege of the Gaza Strip, Al-Hayat newspaper reported on Sunday.

The paper quoted an unnamed source as saying that Lebanon will reject Israeli accusations, especially after the letter sent by Israeli Ambassador to the UN Gabriela Shalev on Friday to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and Security Council members pointing to alleged links between the sponsors of a new Gaza-bound aid ship and Hezbollah.

This comes as some 50 Christian and Muslim Lebanese women as well as foreigners, who say they are not affiliated to any political party, are preparing to leave Lebanon on Sunday on board of the Lebanese aid ship Mariam. The first boat, Naji el-Ali, is set to leave Beirut with 25 European activists onboard, including parliament members and some 50 journalists, including humanitarian equipment. The ship, which will be loaded with medical supplies for cancer patients, would be the latest bid to break Israel’s four-year blockade of the territory. Julia, which has been docking at Tripoli port for about two months, is one of two ships to be used by Lebanese, Arab and foreign activists to carry aid to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Al-Hayat newspaper also quoted an official Lebanese source as saying that an Israeli attack on Lebanese citizens aboard a Gaza-bound aid ship in international waters will amount to an aggression on Lebanon. “Lebanon will not stand idle if Israel attacks Lebanese and foreign civilians in international waters as it did with the Turkish ship a few weeks ago, even though Lebanon is not sponsoring [the new aid ship to Gaza],” the source said, referring to the Israeli attack on an aid flotilla in May that left nine Turks dead.

The source added that Lebanese laws do not prohibit civilians from sailing from its ports. However, the source said that preparations by Lebanese, Arab and foreign activists and journalists to sail from Lebanese ports carrying aid to Gaza have not yet reached their final stage.

WOULD ISRAEL ATTACK LEBANESE BOATS?

Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Rai quoted a diplomatic source as saying that US Ambassador Michele Sison met with Prime Minister Saad Hariri two days ago to warn him about the actions Israel could take to prevent aid ships sailing from Lebanon to the Gaza Strip.

The report added that Hezbollah’s declaration that it had nothing to do with the aid missions from Lebanon to Gaza might not be sufficient to avert a possible sea confrontation.

The paper quoted  an unnamed Western diplomatic source as saying that the Lebanese government has not yet responded to mediation attempts to prevent the Mariam aid ship from sailing from Lebanon  to Gaza.

Israeli Ambassador to the UN Gabriela Shalev on Friday urged Lebanon and the international community to prevent a small group of ships from trying to break the blockade of the Gaza strip, and warned that Tel Aviv has the right to utilize all necessary measures to stop the vessels, Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported.

In a statement issued on Friday, Hezbollah said it will not take part in any Gaza-bound aid missions in order to deny Israel an excuse to attack the boats.

UNIFIL Director of Political and Civil Affairs Milos Strugar said that the UN force has not received any warning or request from Israel to prevent Lebanese ships from sailing to Gaza, As-Sharq al-Awsat newspaper reported. “The UNIFIL’s mission is confined to helping the Lebanese government at its request to prevent the transfer of unauthorized weapons to Lebanon by sea,” the paper quoted Strugar as saying. He added that the UN naval vessels’ activities were confined to this mission.

The Israeli daily Haaretz reported that since Wednesday, Israel has been exerting great diplomatic efforts on the international level to prevent the Lebanese government from launching the aid ships. It revealed that Israel had demanded from the Vatican to advise nuns against boarding the Mariam aid ship, seeing as tens of nuns have planned to be on the all-female ship. It also added that Israel had informed the U.N. and the Security Council that it intends to exercise its “right” in preventing the Lebanese ships from reaching Gaza.

Haaretz said that the Israeli navy and intelligence are preparing themselves for thwarting the arrival of the ships, with military sources stressing that ships coming from Lebanon and Iran will not be allowed to go near Gaza shores.

A fascist voice from Spain : "if Israel goes down, we all go down"

Jose Maria Aznar, the former Spanish Prime Minister, is reported to have called on western countries to protect and defend the Apartheid Israeli regime, despite the latter’s Nazi-like policies against the Palestinian people and other peoples of the Middle East.

Ahlul Bayt News Agency (JNN), Jose Maria Aznar, the former Spanish Prime Minister, is reported to have called on western countries to protect and defend the Apartheid Israeli regime, despite the latter’s Nazi-like policies against the Palestinian people and other peoples of the  Middle East.

Aznar reportedly argued that “if Israel goes down, we all go down.”

“Israel is our first line of defense in a turbulent region that is constantly at risk of descending into chaos,”

Aznar, a key ally to former President Bush in the war against Islam, added that “to abandon Israel to its fate at this moment of all moments, would merely serve to illustrate how far we have sunk and how inexorable our decline now appears.”

Aznar’s argument seems strikingly similar to arguments made by the defenders of the South African apartheid regime before its ultimate downfall. Then we were told repeatedly that abandoning the apartheid regime would remove the last vestige of civilization and enlightenment in Africa.

Now, Aznar is shamelessly making the same argument, namely that the West has to maintain support for the Israeli policies of occupation, apartheid, and colonialism “because this is the right thing to do.”

Needless to say, such arguments can only come from either a manifestly ignorant or bluntly immoral person or both.  Today, Israel is a virtual Nazi state that thinks, behaves and acts alike a Nazi state.

Israel is an occupying power that murders innocent people, practices ethnic cleansing and uses lies to cover up its crimes against humanity as the recent Goldstone report pointed out rather elaborately.

Israel is also an international outlaw, a state that lives by the sword and systematically violates international law.

In fact, there is no other state under the sun that is more in violation of international law, especially the international humanitarian law. Human rights organizations have issued numerous reports indicting Israel for violating the basic human rights of millions of people.

In short, Israel has committed more war crimes in recent history than any other state. These  crimes  range from raining white phosphorus on besieged civilians and dropping millions of cluster bomblets on southern Lebanon  to slaughtering in cold blood aid activists carrying milk powder and other humanitarian materials to helpless civilians  languishing under a Nazi-like siege in the Gaza Strip.

So, one is prompted to ask the following question:  By what moral Criteria does Aznar urge the West to support polices and practices that any conscientious human being would reject and condemn outright?  Indeed, are the European peoples under any moral obligations to support ethnic cleansing in the West Bank and the Israeli policy of starving and savaging Gazans  just because Israel didn’t like the outcome of Palestinian elections?

I have no doubt that that Aznar can cite no moral justification to support  his morbid call for supporting and backing a country that murders school children on their way to school and then claims that the murder is justified because “who knows? The victims would have grown up to become terrorists.”

Furthermore, I can safely claim that Aznar and like-minded Europeans who consume Israeli lies and disinformation around-the-clock know virtually nothing about reality in Israel. Had he known that Israel is close to becoming a full-fledge fascist state, whereby non-Jews, including people like Aznar himself, are viewed as inferior beings or even human animals, he probably would have had a different idea.

However, his ignorance, moral blindness, lack of honesty, and virulent Islamophobia are preventing him from seeing the truth.

Aznar seems to think that Israel represents western civilization in the heart of the Arab-Muslim world. However, this is either a big lie or a gigantic misunderstanding. We who live in Israel-Palestine know better.

In fact, Israel is a religio-ethno-centric entity upholding a decidedly racist doctrine based on Jewish, especially Ashkenazi supremacy. Even Jews of Middle Eastern origin, the true Semites, are discriminated against by the Ashkenazi establishment. In truth, there is more in common between Israel and Nazi Germany than between Israel and western Europe. I am saying this with the knowledge that fanatics like Aznar are not capable of bringing themselves to comprehending this fact which is readily acknowledge by many conscientious Jews.

Aznar argues that Israel’s right to exist shouldn’t be questioned as it was established by a United Nations resolution. Big deal!

Well, the UN never gave Israel a license to wage wars of aggression, occupy neighboring countries, savage and brutalize neighboring peoples, murder their children, men and women, destroy their homes and farms, steal their land, and expel millions to the four corners of the globe.

More to the point, a country that is based on ethnic cleansing, mass murder and mendacity loses its legitimacy irrespective of any UN resolutions.  Israel loses its legitimacy because it is a gigantic war crime, a crime against humanity. Israel is a mass murderer, a land thief, and liar. As such, it has no legitimacy.

The ignorant man from Spain claims that Israel has deeply rooted democratic institutions. Well, these remarks reflect shocking ignorance. We all know that Israeli democracy is only for Jews just as democracy went to the Whites whereas apartheid went to the Blacks and other colored people  in the defunct apartheid South Africa. And if one is not Jewish, his or her chances of obtaining equality before the law are nil. Just ask Ahmed Teibi what it means to be an Arab Knesset member in Israel?

Yes, Israeli leaders are elected, but so what?  Nazi leaders such as Adolph Hitler were also elected.

Yes, Israel has laws, and the laws are applied, but so did Nazi Germany where every thing was done according to law as well.

In the final analysis, it is not the application and implementation of laws that counts, but rather the extent to which these laws are fair and just. Indeed, it doesn’t make any difference whatsoever whether unjust and racist laws are passed by democratic or undemocratic regimes since their ultimate effect is the same.

Then Aznar claims that Israel exists under constant threat of attack. This is a clear lie because Israel is militarily the strongest country in the Middle East. It is a nuclear power and a virtual huge American aircraft carrier. And at the top of all of this, Israel  nearly completely controls the American government by virtue of  controlling Congress, whose members have long transformed themselves into  Israel’s most obsequious political whores at the American arena.

So, how could such a country be under constant attack?

Yes, the peoples of the Middle East are resisting Israeli Nazism just as the European peoples resisted the Nazi occupation of their countries. Resistance, in case Aznar doesn’t understand language, is not constant attacks.

A rape victim (a foreign occupation is an act of rape) has every right to repulse and resist the attacker’s onslaught. This is legitimate resistance, not “terror, or aggression, or constant attack.”  Indeed, calling Palestinian or Lebanese resistance to Israeli Nazism “terror “is a serious abuse of language. It is the ultimate fornication with language.

In the final analysis, the ultimate threat to regional stability and world peace is not the victim’s resistance to aggression, but the aggressor’s aggression and Israel has always been and continues to be the real aggressor.

Finally, a west whose survival depends on embracing Israeli Nazism, e.g. embracing the Zionist settlement enterprise in the West Bank, is not really worth maintaining. A fascist west would be doomed to implosion, sooner or latter. In fact, one exaggerates little by saying that Israel has already brought about the west’s moral downfall. Very often a physical downfall follows a moral downfall.

So, my advice to the west is  “don’t embrace Israeli Nazism. It would cost you your soul.”

Rigi’s execution in Iran: Why can’t Pakistan do this?

The Iranian authorities’ quick hearing and execution of Rigi also points toanother fact, i.e., the willingness and the resolve of Iran to track down and punish those beasts who kill in the name of religion or ethnicity. Now compare the Iranian response to terrorism with the Pakistani response to terrorism.

Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), Abdolmalek Rigi, head of Jundullah, a sectarian terrorist group (Iranian version of the Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan) was today executed in Iran for his involvement in terrorist acts against the state and people of Iran.

He was hanged at dawn at Tehran’s Evin prison in the presence of the families of his victims.

While this news has been widely reported in the international press, I could not help but notice three facts which are either ignored or distorted by the international media:

1. Jundullah, a terrorist organisation, is being presented as Sunni militancy. Far from truth, the group, Jundullah, does not represent Sunnis. Not unlike other terrorist organisations in the region, Al Qaeda, Taliban and Sipah-e-Sahaba, Jundullah recruits extremist (not moderate) Deobandi and Wahhabi Muslims. However, it would be naive as well as misleading to categorise Jundullah as a Sunni militant organisation. Jundullah is a terrorist organisation, and must be labelled as such.

2. The Iranian authorities’ quick hearing and execution of Rigi also points to another fact, i.e., the willingness and the resolve of Iran to track down and punish those beasts who kill in the name of religion or ethnicity. Now compare the Iranian response to terrorism with the Pakistani response to terrorism.

Why can’t Pakistan convict any terrorists?

The difference is clear. Whereas in Iran, the state and its various institutions are firmly committed to protect the state and the nation from acts of terrorism, in Pakistan, certain influential institutions (ISI in particular) are in fact creator, mentor and protector of terrorist organisations (such as Taliban, Al Qaeda, Sipah-e-Sahaba and Lashkar-e-Taiba).

In Pakistan, Jundullah is known for carrying out acts of terrorism not only against Shias in Quetta and Karachi (in collaboration with the Sipah-e-Sahaba) but also against other civilian and military targets. Only yesterday, 19 June 2010, four Junduallh terrorists were able to flee from police custody in Karachi.

The outcome is visible. In Iran, acts of terrorism are few and far between, but in Pakistan, they are an everyday affair.

3. The international media also largely ignored the confession of Rigi in which he acknowledged that the holy father of the ISI, i.e., American CIA, was involved in abetting and facilitating Jundullah’s terrorism against Iran.

Here is the transcript of Rigi’s confession broadcasted live on Press TV on February 25:

’After Obama was elected, the Americans contacted us and they met me in Pakistan. They met us after clashes with my group around March 17 in (the southeastern city of) Zahedan, and he (the US operative) said that Americans had requested a meeting.

I said we didn’t have any time for a meeting and if we do help them they should promise to give us aid. They said they would cooperate with us and will give me military equipment, arms and machine guns. They also promised to give us a base along the border with Afghanistan next to Iran.

They asked to meet me and we said where should we meet you and he said in Dubai. We sent someone to Dubai and we told a person to ask a place for myself in Afghanistan from the area near the operations and they complied that they would sort out the problem for us and they will find Mr. Rigi a base and guarantee his own security in Afghanistan or in any of the countries adjacent to Iran so that he can carry on his operations.

They told me that in Kyrgyzstan they have a base called Manas near Bishkek, and that a high-ranking person was coming to meet me and that if such high-ranking people come to the United Arab Emirates, they may be observed by intelligence people but in a place like Bishkek this high-ranking American person could come and we could reach an agreement on making personal contacts. But after the last major operation we took part in, they said that they wanted to meet with us.

The Americans said Iran was going its own way and they said our problem at the present is Iran… not al-Qaeda and not the Taliban, but the main problem is Iran. We don’t have a military plan against Iran. Attacking Iran is very difficult for us (the US). The CIA is very particular about you and is prepared to do anything for you because our government has reached the conclusion that there was nothing Americans could do about Iran and only I could take care of the operations for them.

One of the CIA officers said that it was too difficult for us to attack Iran militarily, but we plan to give aid and support to all anti-Iran groups that have the capability to wage war and create difficulty for the Iranian (Islamic) system. They reached the conclusion that your organization has the power to create difficulties for the Islamic Republic and they are prepared to give you training and/or any assistance that you would require, in terms of telecommunications security and procedures as well as other support, the Americans said they would be willing to provide it at an extensive level.’

The Zionist regime changes Gaza siege policy

The Zionist regime measure in changing the policy of Gaza blockade under the mounting international pressures is taking place while international organizations have called for full ending of Gaza siege.

According to Al-Jazeera TV Network, the Israeli security cabinet has announced a new policy on entry and exit of goods to Gaza Strip.

The new policy was announced weeks after increasing international pressure on the Zionist regime to put an end to Gaza blockade.

Al-Jazeera correspondent in a live show from Beitolmoqaddas said the Israeli earlier policy was vague but according to the information we have received, some items would be allowed to be entered to Gaza; most of which are food and hygiene items.

He added given that the Zionist regime has changed the Gaza policy it is expected that it announces the list of the banned items to Gaza, and basically any item which is not on this list is allowed to be entered to Gaza.

The Israeli measure in changing the Gaza policy is carrying out while international organizations such as Amnesty International and the United Nations have demanded an end to Gaza siege.

Hanieh: Qods is under the Zionists siege like Gaza

The legal Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Hanieh has said thatBeitolmoqaddas is under the Zionist regime siege like Gaza.

According to JNN, Hanieh in the meeting of the Palestinian legislative council added Beitolmoqqaddas is in the Zionist regime political and security blockade through development of settlements, Judaization of Islamic sites, exile of the Palestinians living in the city, and revocation of their IDs.

Ismail Hanieh regarded the Zionist regime’s decision to exile four Palestinian lawmakers living in Beitolmoqaddas in line with the regime’s efforts for Judaization of the city and stressed the formation of a Palestinian state with Beitolmoqaddas as its capital.

At the same time, the senior Palestinian negotiator, Saeb Ariqat said that Mahmoud Abbas, the head of Palestinian Self-Rule Authority, while denouncing the policy of destruction of Palestinian houses and the continued development of Zionist settlements, has officially called for cancellation of the Zionist regime’s decision to exile four Palestinian lawmakers.

The Zionist regime recently exiled four Palestinian lawmakers from Qods.

Crisis of the American Occupation of Iraq Monday, June 21, 2010

The formation of the National Alliance following merger of the State of LawCoalition and the Iraqi National Alliance was the most important event in Iraq. Friday prayer leaders and religious authorities welcomed the new coalition and called on political currents to move toward the ideals of the Iraqi nation.

Head of al-Iraqiyya List, Ayayd Allawai last week met and discussed with the head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Assembly Seyyed Ammar Hakim.

At the same time, Seyyed Moqtada Sadr called for holding an all-parties’ meeting for a solution to the current stalemate on formation of the new government.

A member of State of Law Coalition led by Premier Nouri Maliki said Saudi Arabia is meddling in the Iraqi political trend.

The Zionist regime plot for continuing occupation of Iraq shows the regime’s conspiracies against Iraq.

A new coalition called the National Alliance consisting of State of Law Coalition and Iraqi National Alliance came into existence officially. The issue was officially announced in a letter to the Sunni speaker of the new parliament Hassan al-Alawi as well as the Iraqi Federal Court. The biggest parliamentary fraction consisting of the Shi’ite Muslim Parties’ coalition was established with the formation of National Allaince. At present, the State of Law Coalition and the Iraqi National Alliance have 159 seats together in the parliament and are considered the biggest parliamentary bloc. Earlier, the Kurdish Coalition had said that in case of merger of the State of Law and the National Alliance, it would join them. Now with the formation of National Accord Coalition, the way has been paved for the Kurds to join the new coalition. If the Kurds’ Coalition joins the new National Alliance, they will have overwhelming majority in the parliament. This can speed up the trend of forming the new government.

At present, there is a consensus between the Shi’ite Muslims and Kurdish coalitions over continuation of Jalal Talebani’s presidency. The Shi’ite Muslim Coalition is busy in consultations to introduce the candidate for the premier’s post. So far, Nuri Maliki, Ibrahim Jafari and Adel Abdul-Mahdi have been brought up as candidates for the premier’s post. Leaders of State of Law and Iraqi National Alliance have expressed hope that establishment of the National Alliance can speed up the trend of reaching consensus on the new premier. The first session of the new parliament led by Hassan al-Alawi – the eldest parliament lawmaker of the al-Iraqiyya List – is due to be held on Monday June 14. The parliament should introduce president and prime minister immediately after the new session is held.

A member of the State of Law Coalition led by Premier Nouri Maliki criticized Saudi Arabia’s meddling in Iraqi domestic affairs. Adnan as-Seraj said Saudi Arabia was trying to obstruct formation of the coalition among Shi’ite Muslim. He said that the new coalition between the State of Law and the Iraqi National Alliance now closes the way for Riyadh’s meddling. Saudi Arabia is spending huge amounts of money to back secular and marginal currents in order to obstruct formation of the national reconciliation government. Evidence shows that Saudi officials in a move in line with the United States has tried to find a place in the country’s political scene through financing terrorist groups in Iraq. No doubt that the formation of the National Alliance has foiled their plots.

The Former Zionist Internal Security Minister said Iraqi oil should flow toward Israel from the northern Kirkuk fields. According to Jerusalem Post, Avi Dichter in a speech in the Israeli Security Research Center said Iraqi isolation is on the agenda of the Zionist regime. Israel has focused on Iraq since the American occupation of the country in 2003. Israeli merchants and businessmen have entered Iraq with non-Israeli passports and have invested in the country. They are active especially in northern Iraq and the Kurdistan area. Since 2003, tens of Israeli companies with non-Israeli names have invested in agriculture, technical, health, oil and developmental fields. In view of these facts, the Zionist regime wants the US occupation of Iraq to be continued so that it could exploit the lucrative market of that country. But the Zionists have failed because evidence shows that at present one of the priorities among Iraqi political groups especially Shi’ite Muslims and Kurd groups is to boost national unity.

Jundallah leader Rigi executed in Iran

JNN 20.06.10 Iran says it has executed ringleader of the Pakistan-based Jundallah terrorist group Abdolmalek Rigi arrested while preparing to launch a new round of attacks on the country.

Rigi was hanged on Sunday morning in Tehran’s Evin prison upon a ruling issued by the country’s Islamic Revolution Court, Fars news agency reported.

The Jundallah ringleader was charged with 79 counts of various crimes including armed robbery, bombing operations in public places, armed attacks on the army, police personnel, and ordinary civilians, assassination attempts, disrupting regional stability, kidnapping and murder.

Rigi’s execution comes as Iranian security forces arrested him on February 23 in eastern Iran while he was on a flight from Dubai to Kyrgyzstan.

Following his arrest, Iranian Intelligence Minister Heidar Moslehi said that Rigi was at an American base 24 hours before his capture, and that the United States had forged an Afghan passport for him.

Rigi, accompanied by his lawyer, appeared in court for the first time on May 27 in the presence of the families of the victims killed by his terrorist group.

In the court session, Iranian prosecutors demanded the death penalty for him.

Following the demand, Rigi claimed responsibility for the crimes committed by his terrorist group, acknowledging that his acts were in violation of the Islamic and human regulations.

After pleading guilty to all charges against him, the Jundallah ringleader went on to ask for forgiveness and made an appeal against the decision for his execution.

Iran’s Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani, however, rejected the appeal and ordered his execution.

The terrorist leader had earlier confessed to having links with NATO officials in Afghanistan and foreign spy agencies like the CIA and Mossad.

Jundallah, which is based in Pakistan, has carried out numerous bombings, assassination attempts, and terrorist attacks in Iran. One of the cited attacks left 40 people dead, including several senior commanders of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps, in Iran’s southeastern city of Pishin

Jundullah Terorrist frees Ashura accused from Karachi City Court

JNN 20.06.10 Karachi : Six armed men got four of their accomplices freed from police custody after they attacked the security personnel with hand grenades in the City Courts on Saturday. A police constable and an under-trial prisoner lost their lives in the exchange of fire.

The four freed men were being tried, among other cases, for the suicide attack on an Karachi Ashura procession in December last year that killed more than 40 people.

The 10-minute episode, which saw a shootout between police and the fleeing terrorists, left people in and around the courts in a daze. Shopkeepers in the city’s busiest commercial area downed shutters as the daring attempt set off a wave of panic.

The attack took place at 3.15pm when the four suspects — Shah Murad, Murtaza Inayat, Mohammad Wazeer and Shakeeb Farooqi — were being escorted by police to the ground floor after a hearing.

As the suspects were taking rest, two policemen guarding them, four men emerged, threw a hand grenade and opened fire, killing Mohammad Shahbaz, a constable.

The attackers fled along with the four suspects. According to Iqbal Mahmood, the DIG South, they belonged to the Jundullah group.

Advocate Riaz Afandi, an eyewitness, said he saw the armed men, in shalwar-kameez, running away with the suspects.

“Three hand grenades were thrown in separate places of the court which suggested that the attackers were not concentrated in one place. They were believed to be all around the building and kept shooting for a few minutes,” he added.

Investigators believed that the attackers and the suspects escaped separately on different directions using different mode of transportation.

“One of the fleeing suspects, Shah Murad, was killed by our chasing party in Jodia Bazaar,” DIG Mahmood said.

But an official, who examined the body of Murad, said he died after the hand-grenade he was carrying went off. “We don’t know whether it’s a suicide attempt or the pin of the grenade went off unintentionally when he was exchanging fire with policemen,” he added.

His findings matched the initial report of medico legal officials at the Civil Hospital. It said the lower torso of Murad was blown away with the force of explosion.

“We also received three injured — Abdul Kalam, Sarfaraz Hussain and Usman — who were hit by bullets. Two of them are stable, but Hussain is in critical condition because he suffered a bullet wound in his head,” a medico legal officer said. The four suspects, all in their mid and late 20s, were arrested in January by the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) on Hawkesbay Road in Mauripur, allegedly after a shootout. They were facing 11 cases, including three consecutive bomb blasts on the 8th, 9th and 10th of Muharram.

“The suspects are in fact third tier of Jundullah,” said SIU SP Raja Umar Khattab, who was appointed head of a police team tasked to arrest the attackers and the suspects. He said the terrorist group was involved in attacks on policemen and bank robberies.

The SP said two of the suspects snatched a motorcycle after leaving the City Courts premises. The bike was recovered in Risala area.

“The owner of the motorcycle told us that two injured armed men snatched the bike on gunpoint. This suggests that at least two attackers were injured during the encounter with police, SP Khattab said, adding that initial findings suggested that four to six armed men were involved in the attack.

The lawyers’ community condemned the attack and criticised the police high-ups for their failure in providing required security at the City Courts building.

The Karachi Bar Association announced an indefinite strike from Monday.

City police chief Waseem Ahmed said that there were no surveillance cameras in City Courts and several entrances to the premises were kept open despite concerns raised several times.

“These arrangements should be made by the court administration and the institutions concerned. We are already short of strength and the number of personnel deployed at the court is within available resources,” he added.

He said there was also a question mark on the information provided by the jail authorities about the four suspects before they were handed over to police for producing them before the respective court.

“For such dangerous suspects, we make special security arrangements under the guidance of the jail authorities. In this case, such information has not been passed on.”

The city police chief said that a committee, headed by the DIG south, had been set up to look into the matter.

Govt blamed for unenforced security plan

The attack on the City Courts by men carrying hand grenades and sophisticated weapons on Saturday, who ran away with their undertrial aides facing trial in the Ashura blast and other high-profile cases, put a question mark over the security arrangements on the sensitive premises decided in February under the directives of the Sindh High Court chief justice.

A senior police official confirmed that a series of meetings more than four months ago led to a comprehensive security plan for the City Courts building — a place regularly visited by many persons

wanted in different cases — after the courts administration and the legal fraternity raised serious concerns over the existing arrangements.

“The proposal was forwarded to the police authorities through the DIG-South and the SSP-Security at that time,” said the official citing several measures suggested. “Though several steps were incorporated in the final proposal, the basic point of the whole exercise was restricted and monitored entry into the courts premises coupled with an increased number of policemen and reconstruction of the boundary walls surrounding the City Courts, which are so low that anyone can jump over.”

However, he showed ignorance about any action on the proposal, which might have prevented the deadly attack by the armed persons, who did not go through any security checks while entering the courts with loads of weapons and grenades.

The meetings were also recalled by Karachi Bar Association president Mahmood-ul-Hasan, who blamed police authorities and the home minister for the incident by “ignoring security of the key areas and enjoying more than justifiable protocol personally”.

“After a meeting under the Sindh High Court chief justice, several sittings were held under the chairmanship of the district and sessions judge (west) in February 2010,” he said. “It was decided that gate No 2 would be reserved only for staff vehicles and those with stickers issued by the authorities. The height of the boundary wall around the courts would also be increased as it is currently so low that anyone can jump over.”

Both the KBA leader and senior police official cited that a pedestrian thoroughfare was also decided to be built and a number of female police officials would be deployed at each entrance while hand scanners would be given to guards to check every single entrant to the courts.

“The arrangements were to be made both by the Sindh government and the police authorities,” said Mr Hasan of the KBA. “But we don’t know the current status of that plan. The level of security we have here now, no one should have any doubt that people determined to do any terrorism activity can do it without any resistance.”

The latest violent episode came as a grim reminder of the last year’s incidents in which nearly a dozen undertrial prisoners (UTPs), including those facing murder charges, escaped from the city courts on their own. The last one was reported only in April 2010 when a UTP facing robbery charges slipped away from the City Courts premises without facing any resistance from the policemen posted there.

The city police chief agreed that the level of security for the UTPs remained below the required level, adding that the law-enforcers planned and moved under the given resources.

“But let me assure you that if we find anyone guilty of negligence, he would face action. We need to look into the incident’s details before reaching any final conclusion about the security arrangements,” said Capital City Police Officer Waseem Ahmed.

While if they are not even freed by attack , they are even given clean chit by the courts , for lack of evidence , or weak prosecution . While the terrrorist are getting advantages from all the sides , whether being in the frame of law or being against the law. And the Innocent Shia Community people are continuously being martyred by these Wahabi Terrorists , who are heavily funded by the saudi’s , CIA and Mossad, who’s ultimate goal is to Dis Integrate Pakistan , The Fort of Islam .

Pakistan should take example from Brother Islamic Country Iran , as where there Justice system is so much competent that No criminal can run away by the hand of Justice, As even the Most Intelligent criminal are apprehended and are brought to Book , sooner or later and are punished according to the law . So no other group or Person can think of getting involved in any type of criminal activities , as it is evident from the fact  that even after allocating hundred of Million dollars in US Budget for Penetrating in Iran and its territories  , and even after 30 years of Islamic Revolution , US is unable to break Iran’s defense system. Or to Destabilize its Integrity or its  economy.
