Iran-Russia sign MoU on environmental cooperation

Iran’s Vice-President and Head of Department of Environment (DoE) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in environmental cooperation with Russian natural resources and environment minister in the port city of Socci on Friday afternoon.

According to IRIB World Service, the MoU was signed by Mohammad Javad Mohammadizadeh and Yury Trutnev in the presence of Iran’s Ambassador to Moscow Mahmoud Reza Sajjadi and a number of officials of both countries.

Deputy Head of DoE in International Affairs, Majid Shafipour, said that the MoU was signed after three months of consultations between officials of both countries.

Among issues in the MoU is to exchange two Iranian panthers with two Caucasus tigers.

Holding workshops and bilateral research seminars are among other issues for bilateral cooperation between Iran and Russia.

Iran’s VP arrived in Moscow heading a delegation on Thursday morning.

The Residents following the path of Ahlul Bayte , the true path of Islam , have resisted the yazidi TALIBAAN , since there inception, so they are being punished for that for Propagating the real spirit of Islam , and not the Yazidi / Wahabi Islam , which is the creation of the Enemies of Islam as well as of Pakistan.

The leading Ulema and Scholars of The Shia Community , have reminded the Government of this seizure repeatedly and asked for removal of this  Blockade of ParaChinar by the Terrorist , and have demanded an Army Operation against these Militant Terrorists , which till now have not taken place , which has cut off Parachinar from the rest of the Country till to date.

The three-year Long blockade of Parachinar has deprived the territories’ half a million residents of food, fuel, medicines and other necessities. The Residents of Parachinar have fought bravely y from the Wahabi Saudi funded Terrorist, working to destabilize & Disintegrate Pakistan, our Beloved country . These Residents have a number of times even fought beside Pakistani forces in the hour of there need, but now there are left alone to fight there Battle for survival. But still they  are ready to fight side by side with Our countries Armed Forces to cleanse our Beloved Pakistan , from the rouge elements of  Taliban and there supporting Terrorist Organizations.

The World should also consider the Worsening conditions of not only the GAZA Strip But also of the Helpless and Innocent Resident of Parachinar, as the Zionist regime, is trying to destabilize not only the Middle East , but also the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Which is called the Fort of Islam.

Nigeria Islamic Movement marks Imam Khomeini(QS) week

On Tuesday the 1st of June being the opening day Sheikh Muhammad Turi delivered lecture on Imam Khomeini(QS) views on Leadership generally known as Wilayatul Faqeeh.

Sheikh Turi explained in detail how the concept of Imam’s wilayatul faqeeh was misunderstood by some scholars even during his time and how the Imam, through wisdoms and provisions of Sharia, was able to clear the dust on the issue.

The Speaker highlighted on the importance of leadership as displayed by the late Imam and of course his concept of Wilayatul Faqeeh which made Imam an outstanding figure amongst Scholars.

Others who spoke t the occasion are Dr. Abdullahi Danladi and Mallam Ibraheem Aqeel.The Participants, after the lecture, watched pictures of Imam Khomeini depicting various events of his life such as his exile to Iraq, Turkey and France; his life before and after revolution and many other events

Tribes vow to expel Mehsud militants

JNN 05.06.10 WANA: Members of a Pakistan Pashtun tribe vowed on Friday to raise a militia aimed at forcing militants loyal to Pakistani Taliban chief Hakimullah Mehsud from their lands on the Afghan border.

Hakimullah is regarded as enemy number one of Pakistan as his militants have unleashed a wave of bomb and suicide attacks across the country in recent years.

The Pakistani army mounted a major offensive against them in their South Waziristan bastion in October.

Hakimullah comes from the Mehsud tribe, a major Pashtun tribe living in South Waziristan.

Though the military says it has destroyed most of the bases of Mehsud militants, Hakimullah and other leaders of the Pakistani Taliban have survived the offensive.

A large number of militants have fled to nearby regions while many fighters are also believed to have taken refuge in territories controlled by the Wazir tribe, the second major tribe in South Waziristan and the Mehsuds’ traditional rivals.

The government has been pressing the Wazir tribe to dislodge militants from its territory.

Elders from the Wazir tribe agreed to raise a traditional tribal militia, known as a “Lashkar,” to expel Mehsud militants from their areas.

“We promised to keep the peace and we will force militants to leave our areas within a week,” Wazir tribal elder Mohammad Ajmal told a gathering of around 400 tribal leaders in Wana, the main town of Waziristan. He spoke after a meeting with government authorities.

“We will not let anyone to ruin the peace in Wana,” he added.

More anti-Israel demos across the globe

Demonstrations are continuing across the globe, demanding that Israel be held accountable for the deadly attack on the Gaza-bound Freedom Flotilla.

On Friday, around 7000 demonstrators took to the streets of Stockholm to protest against Israel’s act of aggression on the high seas.

In the southern French port city of Marseille, home to France’s largest community of North African origin, demonstrators called on the government to cut relations with Israel. They chanted a number of slogans, saying that Israel is a criminal country and France must cease its diplomatic, commercial, and other relations with Israel “which is behaving as a real pirate.”

The Committee for Solidarity with Palestine and Communist Party of India (Marxist) members held an anti-Israeli protest march in New Delhi.

In Rome, pro-Palestinian demonstrators called for a boycott of Israel.

Demonstrations were also held in Istanbul, Ankara, San Salvador, El Salvador, Iran, Malaysia, and Syria, where protesters burned the Israeli flag and called on the international community to take swift action against Tel Aviv.

The Israeli military attacked the Freedom Flotilla in international waters in the Mediterranean Sea early on May 31, killing at least 19 people on board the six ships, including eight Turkish citizens, and injuring about 50 others.

The fate of three other Freedom Flotilla activists is still unknown.

Israel also arrested nearly 700 activists from 42 countries on board the Freedom Flotilla, which was attempting to break the siege of Gaza in order to deliver 10,000 tons of humanitarian assistance to the long-suffering people of the territory.

The three-year Israeli blockade of Gaza has deprived the territories’ 1.5 million residents of food, fuel, and other necessities.

Nasrollah: Imam Khomeini Revived Divine Values

The Secretary General of Lebanon’s Hezbollah, Seyed Hassan Nasrollah, has noted that revival of divine and Islamic values has been the major accomplishments of the Founder of Islamic Republic of Iran, late Imam Khomeini (May his soul rest in peace).

According to Al-Alam News Network, in an address to the ceremony held to mark the 21st anniversary of departure of late Imam Khomeini, hosted by Iran’s Embassy to Beirut on Thursday, Nasrollah added that the late Imam brought about major achievements for mankind; the most important of which was the revival of divine, Islamic, and ethical values.

Nasrollah added that late Imam Khomeini (May his soul rest in peace), promoted the culture of Jihad and steadfastness against the despots and awakened freedom-seeking movements across the world, especially in the Middle East region.

Referring to the recent assault of the Zionist regime against the Freedom Flotilla to Gaza, Nasrollah said that this attack once again proved that the Zionist regime of Israel, with the West’s unwavering support, is not committed to any of the international principles.

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, has said the best criterion for the Islamic revolution is Imam Khomeini and the policies and ideas of the founder of the Islamic republic.        

Tehran’s Friday Prayers were led today by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei . Addressing a huge multi-million strong gathering of mourners in the mausoleum of the late founder of the Islamic republic, Imam Khomeini (may his souls rest in peace), the Leader expounded on Imam Khomeini’s thoughts, ideology and righteous path, and emphasized the need for determining a criterion for avoiding deviations in the path of the Islamic revolution and stressed that the late Imam Khomeini himself sets the best standard, the best criterion, yardstick and gauge for this purpose.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said the issue of occupied Palestine, Gaza’s Zionist-imposed blockade, and the Israeli regime’s attack on the “Freedom Flotilla” are some of the most important issues of the world of Islam today. The Leader emphasized that the world of Islam must stand with all of its might against the callousness and brutality of the Israeli regime.

The Leader went on to remind the audience of the historic phrase of the late Imam, that “Israel is a cancerous Tumor”, and said the barbaric attack of the Israeli military on a flotilla of ships carrying humanitarian aid for the people of blockaded Gaza strip was a huge mistake by the Israeli regime. He added mistakes such as this bring the Israeli regime closer to its “inevitable and certain end” – its plunge into the abyss of death.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei referred to the NPT review conference which drew to a close recently in New York, and said: “Some major powers organized this event in order to make it more difficult for nations of this world to have access to peaceful nuclear energy, placing more obstacles along their way”.

The Leader said some of the major results of the NPT review conference were the fact that many nations called fore destruction of all nuclear weapons, they called for a complete halt to manufacture of all nuclear weapons worldwide , they condemned the Israeli regimes nuclear weapons arsenal, and emphasized that all countries are lawfully entitled to peaceful civilian use of nuclear energy.

21st Anniversary of Departure of Imam Khomeini

The ceremonies marking the 21st anniversary of demise of the Founder of Islamic Republic of Iran late Imam Khomeini (May his soul rest in peace) was held in late Imam’s holy shrine, today (Friday), in the massive presence of the revolutionary and pious people of Iran.                                                                                        

Today, Friday June 4, marks the 21st anniversary of departure of Imam Khomeini. The Father of Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini passed away in the year 1989 at the age of 87; a decade after the victory of Islamic Revolution.

The people of Iran and many of the freedom-seeking people across the world were deeply saddened by the demise of late Imam. The people had lost their popular leader; their source of emulation; and their pioneer of true Islam.

The massive participation of the people in the funeral of late Imam Khomeini (May his soul rest in peace), was a reminder of the glorious and epic presence of people on February 1, 1979, which was the day in which late Imam returned to Iran after 15 years in exile. The global official news agencies estimated that nine million people took part in late Imam’s funeral.

Therefore, the departure of late Imam, like his existence, became the source of awakening and movement.

Following the departure of late Imam (May his soul rest in peace), the Assembly of Experts immediately convened a meeting. Following the presentation of late Imam’s testament by the then President Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, the Assembly of Experts started consultations for choosing a successor to late Imam. Finally, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, who was one of the prominent followers of late Imam, and was one of the prominent figures of the Islamic Revolution, was elected for this major prophecy with the unanimous votes of the Assembly of Experts.

Currently, 21 years after the sad demise of late Imam (May his soul rest in peace), the Iranian nation continues to be devoted and loyal to the pure thoughts of lmam Khomeini.

Today (Friday), on the 21st anniversary of departure of late Imam (May his soul rest in peace), people have once again vowed allegiance to the Founder of Islamic Republic of Iran, late Imam Khomeini, and the Leader of Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.

This year, like previous years, the followers of late Imam Khomeini (May his soul rest in peace), from tens of countries worldwide, have gathered in late Imam’s Holy Shrine, alongside convoys of pilgrims, who have arrived in Tehran from different cities across the country, to once again commemorate the memory and valuable ideas of late Imam and to once again vow their allegiance to the Leader of Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, the righteous successor to late Imam Khomeini (May his soul rest in peace).
