Mardin University professor, Kadir Yildrim, was among those who addressed the event, Rohama reported.

He condemned the recent deadly Israeli raid on the flotilla of ships carrying aid to Gaza and stressed support for the besieged people of Gaza.

In his speech, Kadir Yildrim also noted that Islam is the only religion that gives importance to the leading role of spiritual values in societies.
