ISLAMABAD, July 26 (APP)- A local commander of terrorists was killed while the security forces have apprehended nine others including an Imam Mosque during the last 24 hours from various parts of Swat and Malakand.According to ISPR here on Sunday, two soldiers embraced shahadat when the security forces encountered an IED near Sarkari Qila during search operation in Bajur.In search operation in area around Tal, Kamari Banda and Maira Banda a local commander Qambar identified as Maaz was killed. Security forces conducted search operation at Darmai near Fatehpur and apprehended an Imam Masjid (supporter and sympathizer of terrorists).During search operation at Ghaznavi near Piochar the security forces destroyed a tunnel and recovered communication equipment while two tunnels were destoryed in other areas. The security forces conducted search operation at Manda Jungle near Waliabad and destroyed 4 other tunnels.The Security forces apprehended six terrorists in search operation at Ghariabad near Charbagh while recovered 17 rifles, 3 machine guns and 4 pistols from Tutan Banda.Security forces conducted search operation at village Pia near Maydian and apprehended 3 terrorists while defused 5 IEDs in Khanai and Lal Qila.

Security forces also conducted search operation at Jowar-Bampokha-Kingargali route and demolished 3 terrorists hideouts at Dewana Baba and Kalpanai.
