Saudi Arabia allocates 86 billion dollars to disseminate Wahhabism


In a recent conference held in Cairo, the penetration of Wahhabis in al-Azhar Institution and its negative effects have been researched. Furthermore the research has revealed the role of Saudi authorities to establish Wahhabi sect and to expand its extremist culture in al-Azhar Institution.

The research revealed the subversive role played by the Saudi Arabian Wahhabis in Al-Azhar since 1960 till today (2009).

According to experts and specialists in  al-Azhar, Saudi Arabia had allocated 86 billion dollars for the dissemination of Wahhabism in the last thirty years of which 20 billion dollars to penetrate the Al-Azhar financially, economically and religious.

Some of Wahhabis’ activities are fascinating al-Azhar scholars to Saudi universities and converting them to Wahhabi missionaries in Cairo, establishing Wahhabi centers and publishing books based on Wahhabi thoughts.

In the seminar some of al-Azhar Scholars such as Sheikh Mahmoud Ashour, Sheikh Gamal Qutb, Sheikh Dr. Sabri Abdel-Raouf, d. Ahmed Al-Sayeh,  and researchers  Dr. Ali Abu al-Kheir, Fikri Abdul-Muttalib, Mahmoud Jaber, Mohamed Qayati, Dr. Radwan Abdullah, and others … have participated.
