Iraq’s Interior Minister said Sunday that the Iraqi security forces on the martyrdom anniversary ceremony of seventh Shii Imam, Mousa al-Kazem (PBUH) could establish security for 5,000 pilgrims in Iraq. “The Iraqi forces in establishing security for pilgrims were successful. With the strategy, they could provide security for hundred kilometers of the pilgrim’s route to Kazemain, the holy city in Iraq,” Javad al-Bolani said in an interview with BBC News. He said that 12 provinces participated to provide the security and they used security cameras for controlling the situation in Kazemian. “The Iraqi forces proved that they could establish wide security across the country,” the Minister reiterated. He said that this was the first time that the Iraqi security forces accepted all of the responsibilities while the American troops only installed the cameras.
