Supporters of insurgents not to have dialogue with Iran unless they apologize: Firouzabadi

policeTEHRAN (ISNA)-Iran Armed Forces Chief of Staff Major General Hassan Firouzabadi asserted on Wednesday that supporters of insurgents in post-election events do not have the right to hold dialogue with Iran unless they apologize.

The European Union is a “failed political and economic treaty” which faced European people distrust in elections, he said referring to Italians 15 percent turnout in EU parliamentary elections.

Therefore the members of the EU have lost credit in P5+1, he added.

Pointing to the “ridiculous interventions” of European Union in “unique and glorious” presidential elections of Iran, Firouzabadi added, “the P5+1 enmity with Iranian nation is obvious and the EU foreign policy chief has never had a stable stance and was not backed by the member states, therefore considering the fact that they have appeared as supporters of insurgents in Iran, they are not qualified to hold talks with Iran.”

They do not have the right to talk about dialogue with Iran before apologizing for their big mistakes and showing practically that they are regretful, he asserted.
