World Shia Leader,Ayatullah Khamenei,Urges Quick Int'l Aid for Pakistan

Ayatollah Khamenei, has criticized international organizations for failing to administer aid to flooded Pakistan, urging Muslims’ quick assistance to help recover the country.

JNN News Agency, “Unfortunately, international organizations have not carried out their duties well to render services to disaster-stricken people, which itself needs to be analyzed and scrutinized,” Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei said in a statement on Tuesday.

Imam Khamenei called on all Muslims across the world to join hands in helping flood-hit Pakistanis.

“We are obliged to fulfill our duties and rush to help our devastated brothers and sisters,” the Leader said.

More than 1,600 Pakistanis have lost their lives in the floods that have hit nearly one fifth of the country. The UN says more than 17 million Pakistanis have been affected, as five million people have been made homeless as a result of the unprecedented floods.

The situation caused by the floods is worsening as hunger, lack of hygiene and drinking water, and the threat of an epidemic have put lives of many Pakistanis at risk.

The flooding is considered the worst in the country’s history.

Syed Nasrallah and Sunni Leader Vow to Compensate Victims, Stress Unity

Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and leader of the Association of Islamic Charitable Projects Sheikh Hussam Qaraqira stressed in a meeting that last Tuesday individual clashes in Burj Abi Haidar “had no political background and were not sectarian.”

JNN News Agency, Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and leader of the Association of Islamic Charitable Projects Sheikh Hussam Qaraqira stressed in a meeting that last Tuesday individual clashes in Burj Abi Haidar “had no political background and were not sectarian.”

A statement released by Hezbollah’s media office said that Sayyed Nasrallah and Al-Ahbash leader agreed to take all measures necessary to prevent the recurrence of similar deadly incidents and emphasized the importance of unity between Shia and Sunni.

Both leaders decided to form a joint committee to compensate for those who sustained damages during the clashes, it said.

The two sides also stressed the importance of the army’s role in safeguarding security and vowed they would make efforts to help the investigation carried out by the Lebanese army into the clashes, according to the statement. They rejected verbal attacks and accusations against it.

As Safir newspaper quoted Hezbollah leadership sources as saying that in the first days of the clashes, the party tried to contain the negative stances against it. However, it realized that there was an organized campaign against it through the speeches and statements of March 14 officials, the sources said.

They told As Safir that Hariri did not deal with the incidents as a statesman rather than as the Future movement leader and the chief of a certain faction. The speeches that Hariri made during Iftar banquets in the past few days contradict with his own calls for calm, the sources said.

In a related development, Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) Commander General Jean Kahwaji said the number of arrests linked to the clashes has risen to 10 not 4 as previously reported.

“What is required is that no one ignites a fire and then demand the army put it out,” Kahwaji told As-Safir newspaper in comments published on Monday.

On Sunday, Hezbollah MP Mohammad Raad slammed those whom he said were exploiting the Borj Abi Haidar incident to promote sectarian strife in Beirut.

“Some people are insisting on making statements with slogans and incitement that only serve to fuel the fire of division and strife. These voices are not keen to protect society, the people or the state,” Raad said.

“Tours of the areas where the clashes took place in Borj Abi Haidar aim to deepen division,” Raad added, in reference to visits by Hariri and Grand Mufti Sheikh Mohammad Qabbani to Borj Abi Haidar.

Grand Shia Cleric: Libya Liable for Moussa Sadr Abduction

Top Shia Cleric “Grand Ayatollah Naser Makarem-Shirazi” says Tripoli should take responsibility for the abduction of a Lebanese Shia leader, who went missing on Libyan soil more than three decades ago.

Ahlul Bayt News Agency, “If an Israeli soldier hides somewhere, the issue is immediately investigated, but on the abduction of a great character like Imam Moussa al-Sadr there is no action,” Ayatollah Makarem-Shirazi said on Thursday.

Speaking to a high-ranking Lebanese delegation on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the abduction of Imam Moussa al-Sadr, the prominent Iranian cleric described the Lebanese leader as an icon who belonged not only to Lebanon but to the whole Muslim community.

Ayatollah Makarem-Shirazi hailed Imam Moussa al-Sadr’s contributions to Lebanon, the Islamic Revolution in Iran and all Muslims, and called for more active investigation into his disappearance.

Khalil Hamdan, the head of the Lebanese delegation, thanked Tehran for its continued efforts to discover the fate of the senior Lebanese cleric.

Hamdan further referred to inquiries by the Lebanese judiciary authorities and the Iranian parliament, insisting that the cleric was “alive and held in Libya.”

It is widely believed in Lebanon that Imam Moussa al-Sadr, the founder of the Lebanon’s Amal movement, was kidnapped on the orders of senior Libyan officials while on an official trip to Libya in August 1978.

Accompanied by two of his companions, Mohammed Yaqoub and Abbas Badreddin, Sadr was scheduled to meet with officials from the government of the Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi.

In 2008, the government in Beirut issued an arrest warrant for Gaddafi over Sadr’s disappearance.

Bahrain Shia Party Threatens Election Boycott

Quraeah, Bahrain – A Shiite Muslim opposition party Wednesday threatened to boycott Bahrain’s parliamentary elections, due in October, unless democratic reforms are introduced.

Ahlul Bayt News Agency, Quraeah, Bahrain – A Shiite Muslim opposition party Wednesday threatened to boycott Bahrain’s parliamentary elections, due in October, unless democratic reforms are introduced.

The Islamic Action Society (Amal) said it wanted to see constitutional reforms aimed at making parliament more independent.

“We not only believe that the current parliament does not create the grounds for participation in shaping the country’s future, but in fact see it as a hindrance to building a democratic state and one that empowers corruption,” Sheikh Mohammed Ali al Mahfood, the secretary general of Amal, told reporters.

The other three opposition groupings, which comprise Shiite Islamists, pan-Arabs, and communists, have confirmed that they will be contesting the elections, which are set for October 23.

China now second largest economy

China has overtaken Japan to become the world’s second-largest economy after three decades of rapid growth, a top Chinese official has announced.

“China, in fact, is now already the world’s second-largest economy,” China’s chief currency regulator Yi Gang said in an interview with the latest issue of the China Reformmagazine, which was published on Friday.

He said that China’s economy expanded over 11 percent in the first half of 2010, compared with the same period a year earlier, and is likely to register a growth of more than 9 percent for the entire year.

“China is still a developing country, and we should be wise enough to know ourselves,” the director of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange said when asked whether the time was ripe for the yuan to become an international currency.

The World Bank has predicted that China is on course to surpass the United States as the world’s number one economy sometime around 2025.

A new report released earlier in March by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) said that China has overtaken Japan to become the world’s second largest industrial manufacturer.

According to UNIDO estimates, China’s share of the global total of manufacturing value (MVA,) reached 15.6 percent in 2009, slightly higher than Japan’s share of 15.4 percent, while the USA continues to maintain its rank of first place with 19 percent.

The three countries together produce half of the world’s manufacturing output.

Although China is now a bigger economy than Japan, China’s GDP per capita (nominal) stood at $3,620 in 2009. Ranked 124th by the World Bank, it was only a fraction of Japan’s GDP of $37,870, which stood as 32nd.

The source denied the reports, saying no such attack took place.

Millions descending to Holy Karbala for Shabaniyah Festival

HOLY CITY OF KARBALA, Iraq: Ziyarah Ash-Shabaniyah or the Shabaniyah festival, which climaxes on Wednesday Shaban 15 July 28, marks the birth anniversary of the Imam of Era Al-Imam Mohammed Al-Mahdi (A), the 12th infallible descendant of Prophet Mohammed (S) and the Last Proof of Allah, who disappeared in the 9th century.

Amid tight security, millions of devotees are flooding to the holy shrine of Al-Imam al-Hussein bin Ali bin Abi Talib (AS) in the holy city of Karbala to observe Ziyarah Ash-Shabaniyah, which is the best amal (deed) of the blessed night of 15 Sha’ban.

Atmosphere in the holy city is filled with further spirituality, bliss and happiness. Wholecity is beautifully bedecked with lights, colorful buntings and flowers.

Since the beginning of the month of Shaban, devotees from across the country and other parts of the world – young and old, men and women, mostly on foot, some individually, some in caravans -, carrying white, green and red banners inscribed with ‘Al-Ajal Ya Imam Al-Asr (AS)’ were heading to the holy city to achieve the honor of visiting Imam Al-Hussein (AS) marking 15 Sha’ban.

Narrations from A’immah Ahlul Bayt (AS) tell that fifteenth night of Sha’ban (night between 14 and 15 Sha’ban) is the best after the night of Qadr. The birth of Prophet Muhammad (S)’s last descendant Al-Imam Al-Hujjah bin Al-Hassan Al-Mahdi Al-Montadhar (AS) in Sorra Mann Ra’a, Iraq, in 255 AH, further increased the honor and excellence of this night.

According to a saying of Chief of Prophets Prophet Muhammad (S), Al-Imam Al-Mahdi (AS) will return to deliver humanity from darkness and strife, and he will fill the earth with justice and equity as it would have been filled with oppression and injustice.

The fifteenth Sha’ban A’maal will culminate with the floating of thousands of candles and scented letters to Imam Al-Mahdi – Imam of the Era (AS) – on a river in Holy Karbala at 15 Sha’ban pre-dawn.

Residents of holy Karbala cook unique meals in giant pots at open places for the devotees outside the Al-Imam Al-Hussein (AS) shrine. Food and drink stands have been set up for the pilgrims.

Yemen president says 'no' to war with Shia Muslims

Yemen’s President Ali Abdullah Saleh said Sunday he did not want anotherwar with Shiite in northern Yemen, after a week of clashes reportedly killed at least 70 people.

Yemen’s President Ali Abdullah Saleh said Sunday he did not want another war with Shiite in northern Yemen, after a week of clashes reportedly killed at least 70 people.

“Peace, security and stability are the choice of the state,” Saleh said at a military ceremony.

“I say no to another war” with the Shiite Huthis, Saleh added.

His remarks came a day after tribal mediators succeeded to halt fighting between the Huthis and the army-backed tribe of Bin Aziz. At least 70 people were killed in those clashes and related fighting.

“Stop jeopardising the security and stability of the province of Saada,” Saleh said.

After six rounds of fighting between government forces and the Huthis, Saleh earlier this month ruled out another conflict with the Shias.

Both sides have repeatedly accused the other of violating the February ceasefire.

Sayyed Nasrallah: We Won’t Allow Anyone to Hurt the Resistance Dignity

Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah stressed on Sunday that its part would not allow anyone, whoever he was, to hurt the dignity of the resistance. This resistance, according to Sayyed Nasrallah, was able to crush the new Middle East plan in 2006.

Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah stressed on Sunday that its part would not allow anyone, whoever he was, to hurt the dignity of the resistance. This resistance, according to Sayyed Nasrallah, was able to crush the new Middle East plan in 2006.

Speaking in a ceremony honoring the martyr’s children at Shahed Institution in Beirut’s southern suburb, The Sayyed started his speech by paying tribute to the resistance martyrs.

“For 30 years, the martyrs have been the most important symbols of this country. They are the best victory makers of this nation. They protected its dignity and presence… We, as a resistance movement, have offered the most precious [of our sons]. My leader in the Resistance, Sayyed Abbas al-Moussawi and my brother in jihad, Imad Moghniyyeh, are the most precious people I have lost,” his eminence said.

Sayyed Nasrallah added that with these sacrifices, the Resistance is the most precious of what we have, stressing that “we will not allow anyone in the world – small or big -to hurt its dignity.”

Hezbollah Secretary General continued, “All plots that threatened Lebanon, Palestine and the region were stopped by the Resistance. The Resistance prevented the plot in 1982 and the one in 2000 that aimed to accomplish the project of [building a] greater Israel [by invading Lebanon]. In 2006, the Resistance put an end to the new Middle East project, which was highly funded. This Resistance made Lebanon in the heart of the regional equation after it was inferior. It made Lebanon a player.”

His eminence stressed that the Resistance made Lebanon strong and that was why officials come to the country, adding that this Resistance was the reason that leaders meet Lebanese officials abroad.

Sayyed Nasrallah also thanked all people who helped the Resistance in Lebanon, from Iran to Syria to all honorable people, however, he stressed that the Resistance was the one that fought. He also said that unfortunately everyone, but some Lebanese, knows the value of this Resistance, including Lebanon’s enemies who are planning to take it away.

“They may bargain on gas and oil but they can never bargain on the Resistance,” his eminence stressed, adding that the war on the Resistance will continue, and (US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Jeffrey) Feltman himself admitted this before Congress.

Sayyed Nasrallah also said that the international community tried to bring the resistance power to an end in the 2006 July War and failed. “I will talk about this during the victory ceremony, which was postponed to August 3 upon President Michel Sleiman’s request because he will receive prominent guests in Lebanon on July 30.”

Full Text; Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah Press Conference in Beirut

“My press conference today is for the  people to hear me well and not toquote  me” from different sources, Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah began his press conference in Beirut’s southern suburb Thursday night.

“My press conference today is for the people to hear me well and not to quote me” from different sources, Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah began his press conference in Beirut’s southern suburb Thursday night.

The Sayyed stressed that “we have to bear in mind that as of this moment, Lebanon has been pushed into a very sensitive and complicate stage from the gates of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL).” His eminence also underlined the right of the resistance to defend itself regardless of those who “philosophize and claim that he who defends himself confesses his crime.”

“An indictment had been written, before the investigation (into the assassination of former PM Rafiq Hariri) and before Hezbollah members were interrogated as witnesses. It was written but its issuance was delayed for political reasons. Judge Daniel Belmar’s deliberations with UNSC members and French officials had to do with the political timing, not the context. Before leaving to Washington, PM Saad Hariri visited me and told me that in month ‘x’, an indictment will be issued and it will implicate ‘undisciplined members of Hezbollah’, not the whole party.”

The Hezbollah chief lashed out at “those who protested my speech last week” adding that they don’t want Hezbollah to speak out before the issuance of the indictment. “We firmly reject this as we firmly reject accusing any Hezbollah member.”
His eminence pointed that from the first minutes after Hariri was assassinated, the media were ready to implicate Syria and the four generals in the crime. “The media are also ready today for any indictment. We believe that there is a major plot to target the resistance, Lebanon, and the whole region. I cannot be sure that an indictment would be issued in September or October because the date can be postponed for political reasons, however an indictment will be issued eventually in accordance with the plot that has been prepared for the region.”

Sayyed Nasrallah reminded that the target was the resistance “which constitutes the main obstacle for any settlement that would establish a U.S. and Israeli hegemony against the Palestinians.” He called on so-called March 14 powers to review their position “because the results of their stances and their policies have affected Lebanon and the region.”
The Sayyed praised MP Walid Jumblatt for his courage to make a clear and public review. “It is not enough to say in 2010: we want to good and normal relations with Syria. They ought to say that they have made serious mistakes since 2005 and that they were heading straight to the abyss and dragging you (March 14 audience) behind us. Do you have enough courage to say what you have concluded and yet, you refuse to reveal? Brave and sincere leaderships admit their mistakes. No one is asking you for an apology.”

The Secretary General reminded that in 2005 the so called March 14 leadership had immediately accused Syria of assassinating Hariri, without investigation and without proof. “You were the prosecutor and you were the punishers. You dragged the whole country based on your accusation.” He added that five years later, the same March 14 camp is calling for normal relations with Damascus. “This cannot pass that easy…What is the guarantee that you will not take the country towards more mazes in the five or ten years to come? What you did in this country in terms of confessional and sectarian incitement is unprecedented in 100 years of Lebanon’s history. What is the guilt of those Hezbollah members, the Shiites and the rest of the opposition on top of which were our Sunni brothers? What is the crime of Syria’s allies who were later called opposition forces, including General Michel Aoun? You said during general elections in 2005: Anyone who votes for ‘them’ would be voting for PM Hariri’s killers. Elections took place based on a false accusation to Syria and its allies in Lebanon, and these elections gave birth to a government that took decisions.”

Sayyed Nasrallah went on to say that the March 14 racist speech led to the killing of several Syrian laborers in Lebanon, served in isolating then President Emile Lahoud, fueling the endeavor to occupy the Presidential Palace in Baabda, toppling then PM Omar Karameh and pointing the finger at him and his ministers, isolating some judges, and throwing four innocent officers in jail for four years. “The one thing that has never changed is that there is still no evidence to implicate Syria despite the false witnesses they brought to the investigation.”

The Hezbollah chief then addressed the Lebanese in general and the March 14 supporters in particular saying that “we are the victims of big schemes; much bigger than us and much bigger than Lebanon.”
“If these political leaderships did not make their review and did not correct their mistakes, knowing that during four and half years, they took the country to the most difficult stage in its history…in the framework of a big scheme for the region, will you be willing to follow their lead after all this experience? You are free and you bear the responsibility.”

Sayyed Nasrallah concluded his speech saying that Hezbollah was not afraid of anything, even the indictment. “Let them issue it now and let us finish already. Those who conspire against the resistance and Lebanon – and have so far failed – ought to be concerned because more schemes will be foiled. We know the nature of the responsibility that we’re shouldering and we urge those who have so far miscalculated their moves to make the right calculations this time.”

The Secretary General answered the questions of reporters who were following up his speech through a giant screen at the Shahed School.
In one of his answers, the Sayyed pointed that Prime Minister Saad Hariri and Saudi Arabia can do a lot concerning the STL indictment. “They can tell those who are playing the ‘game of the nations’ that Lebanon cannot afford such games. I believe that they (Hariri and S.Arabia) have the stature that enables them to say just that. However, I am not asking them to do anything. It is up to them to take the decision they see fit.”
His eminence said he was asking no one to apologize. “All I asked was that they make a review and speak frankly to their audience. I have not called for the resignation of the government or anyone else, however I shall have a position after the issuance of the indictment.”
Concerning PM Hariri’s position after the indictment, Sayyed Nasrallah said: “Both our positions will be difficult and everybody should observe Lebanon’s interest.”

Responding to a question about Hezbollah respecting STL decisions, the S.G. said: “We have never said that we respect the tribunal’s decisions and we have never said that we do not respect them. We have doubted the tribunal from day one; this is why we requested that the issue of the tribunal be discussed by the Cabinet. Everybody knows how the previous administration passed the Tribunal bill; Hezbollah and Amal Movement minister were not given three day – not one week, but three days only – to study the bill. Despite this, we backed the principle of establishing the court. Unless the court’s resolutions were based on solid and true evidence, I cannot accept its decisions, and it does not seem to me that the court is founding its decisions on solid evidence. If the court said that Al-Qaeda had killed Hariri, I would refuse its conclusion because the international investigation has skipped one hypothesis; the Israeli hypothesis. Israel has the motive, the capabilities, the control and the interest to kill Hariri, but it is forbidden to work on this hypothesis. As long as it does not take this hypothesis into consideration, the court will not be unprejudiced.”

Sayyed Nasrallah stressed he did not attack the Information Branch in his speech last week.
“The truth is that I thanked it for the efforts exerted recently to nab spies. I only asked a question, and this is my right. What was leaked in the press is not enough and confirms my information. I will not say that the Information Branch provided us with false information because the Branch has its own analyses of telephone calls which result in certain conclusions that are not necessarily definite. The same Branch interrogated people suspected of spying for Israel, some came out innocent and others confessed to collaborating with Israel. These are technical matters. The Branch did not lie to us, but the conclusions of their analyses were wrong. They gave us three telephone numbers for three Hezbollah officials suspected of collaborating with Israel. We took those three numbers and we summoned the brothers who owned the numbers. You should know that we do not tolerate collaboration with Israel. Those brothers are still Hezbollah officials because we conducted a real and serious investigation that led us to a definite conclusion. If I had the slightest proof that they had been penetrated by the Israel Mossad, I would have at least isolated them and fired them from the party. We don’t even tolerate suspicion of collaboration. Why we given those names? Why is there an attempt to portray us as a penetrated party? This is something that has to do with a story that I will tell you during my next press conference God willing.”

The Hezbollah Secretary General concluded that the party has never and will never wage war, “knowing that the breakout of any war in the region will not be limited. In 2006 we captured two Israeli soldiers; never in history had the capture of two soldiers led to war.”
“We are a resistance movement working on liberating the rest of our occupied land our own way and we will defend our country like we have alway done-

Israel Preparing to Repeat the “Marmara” Scenario, Lebanon to Respond

Lebanon is preparing to explain its position at the UN Security Council inresponse to Israeli threats to prevent ships that could sail from Lebanese ports in an attempt to break the Israeli siege of the Gaza Strip, Al-Hayat newspaper reported on Sunday.                                                                                                JNN: According to  Ahlul Bayt News Agency , Lebanon is preparing to explain its position at the UN Security Council in response to Israeli threats to prevent ships that could sail from Lebanese ports in an attempt to break the Israeli siege of the Gaza Strip, Al-Hayat newspaper reported on Sunday.

The paper quoted an unnamed source as saying that Lebanon will reject Israeli accusations, especially after the letter sent by Israeli Ambassador to the UN Gabriela Shalev on Friday to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and Security Council members pointing to alleged links between the sponsors of a new Gaza-bound aid ship and Hezbollah.

This comes as some 50 Christian and Muslim Lebanese women as well as foreigners, who say they are not affiliated to any political party, are preparing to leave Lebanon on Sunday on board of the Lebanese aid ship Mariam. The first boat, Naji el-Ali, is set to leave Beirut with 25 European activists onboard, including parliament members and some 50 journalists, including humanitarian equipment. The ship, which will be loaded with medical supplies for cancer patients, would be the latest bid to break Israel’s four-year blockade of the territory. Julia, which has been docking at Tripoli port for about two months, is one of two ships to be used by Lebanese, Arab and foreign activists to carry aid to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Al-Hayat newspaper also quoted an official Lebanese source as saying that an Israeli attack on Lebanese citizens aboard a Gaza-bound aid ship in international waters will amount to an aggression on Lebanon. “Lebanon will not stand idle if Israel attacks Lebanese and foreign civilians in international waters as it did with the Turkish ship a few weeks ago, even though Lebanon is not sponsoring [the new aid ship to Gaza],” the source said, referring to the Israeli attack on an aid flotilla in May that left nine Turks dead.

The source added that Lebanese laws do not prohibit civilians from sailing from its ports. However, the source said that preparations by Lebanese, Arab and foreign activists and journalists to sail from Lebanese ports carrying aid to Gaza have not yet reached their final stage.

WOULD ISRAEL ATTACK LEBANESE BOATS?

Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Rai quoted a diplomatic source as saying that US Ambassador Michele Sison met with Prime Minister Saad Hariri two days ago to warn him about the actions Israel could take to prevent aid ships sailing from Lebanon to the Gaza Strip.

The report added that Hezbollah’s declaration that it had nothing to do with the aid missions from Lebanon to Gaza might not be sufficient to avert a possible sea confrontation.

The paper quoted  an unnamed Western diplomatic source as saying that the Lebanese government has not yet responded to mediation attempts to prevent the Mariam aid ship from sailing from Lebanon  to Gaza.

Israeli Ambassador to the UN Gabriela Shalev on Friday urged Lebanon and the international community to prevent a small group of ships from trying to break the blockade of the Gaza strip, and warned that Tel Aviv has the right to utilize all necessary measures to stop the vessels, Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported.

In a statement issued on Friday, Hezbollah said it will not take part in any Gaza-bound aid missions in order to deny Israel an excuse to attack the boats.

UNIFIL Director of Political and Civil Affairs Milos Strugar said that the UN force has not received any warning or request from Israel to prevent Lebanese ships from sailing to Gaza, As-Sharq al-Awsat newspaper reported. “The UNIFIL’s mission is confined to helping the Lebanese government at its request to prevent the transfer of unauthorized weapons to Lebanon by sea,” the paper quoted Strugar as saying. He added that the UN naval vessels’ activities were confined to this mission.

The Israeli daily Haaretz reported that since Wednesday, Israel has been exerting great diplomatic efforts on the international level to prevent the Lebanese government from launching the aid ships. It revealed that Israel had demanded from the Vatican to advise nuns against boarding the Mariam aid ship, seeing as tens of nuns have planned to be on the all-female ship. It also added that Israel had informed the U.N. and the Security Council that it intends to exercise its “right” in preventing the Lebanese ships from reaching Gaza.

Haaretz said that the Israeli navy and intelligence are preparing themselves for thwarting the arrival of the ships, with military sources stressing that ships coming from Lebanon and Iran will not be allowed to go near Gaza shores.

A fascist voice from Spain : "if Israel goes down, we all go down"

Jose Maria Aznar, the former Spanish Prime Minister, is reported to have called on western countries to protect and defend the Apartheid Israeli regime, despite the latter’s Nazi-like policies against the Palestinian people and other peoples of the Middle East.

Ahlul Bayt News Agency (JNN), Jose Maria Aznar, the former Spanish Prime Minister, is reported to have called on western countries to protect and defend the Apartheid Israeli regime, despite the latter’s Nazi-like policies against the Palestinian people and other peoples of the  Middle East.

Aznar reportedly argued that “if Israel goes down, we all go down.”

“Israel is our first line of defense in a turbulent region that is constantly at risk of descending into chaos,”

Aznar, a key ally to former President Bush in the war against Islam, added that “to abandon Israel to its fate at this moment of all moments, would merely serve to illustrate how far we have sunk and how inexorable our decline now appears.”

Aznar’s argument seems strikingly similar to arguments made by the defenders of the South African apartheid regime before its ultimate downfall. Then we were told repeatedly that abandoning the apartheid regime would remove the last vestige of civilization and enlightenment in Africa.

Now, Aznar is shamelessly making the same argument, namely that the West has to maintain support for the Israeli policies of occupation, apartheid, and colonialism “because this is the right thing to do.”

Needless to say, such arguments can only come from either a manifestly ignorant or bluntly immoral person or both.  Today, Israel is a virtual Nazi state that thinks, behaves and acts alike a Nazi state.

Israel is an occupying power that murders innocent people, practices ethnic cleansing and uses lies to cover up its crimes against humanity as the recent Goldstone report pointed out rather elaborately.

Israel is also an international outlaw, a state that lives by the sword and systematically violates international law.

In fact, there is no other state under the sun that is more in violation of international law, especially the international humanitarian law. Human rights organizations have issued numerous reports indicting Israel for violating the basic human rights of millions of people.

In short, Israel has committed more war crimes in recent history than any other state. These  crimes  range from raining white phosphorus on besieged civilians and dropping millions of cluster bomblets on southern Lebanon  to slaughtering in cold blood aid activists carrying milk powder and other humanitarian materials to helpless civilians  languishing under a Nazi-like siege in the Gaza Strip.

So, one is prompted to ask the following question:  By what moral Criteria does Aznar urge the West to support polices and practices that any conscientious human being would reject and condemn outright?  Indeed, are the European peoples under any moral obligations to support ethnic cleansing in the West Bank and the Israeli policy of starving and savaging Gazans  just because Israel didn’t like the outcome of Palestinian elections?

I have no doubt that that Aznar can cite no moral justification to support  his morbid call for supporting and backing a country that murders school children on their way to school and then claims that the murder is justified because “who knows? The victims would have grown up to become terrorists.”

Furthermore, I can safely claim that Aznar and like-minded Europeans who consume Israeli lies and disinformation around-the-clock know virtually nothing about reality in Israel. Had he known that Israel is close to becoming a full-fledge fascist state, whereby non-Jews, including people like Aznar himself, are viewed as inferior beings or even human animals, he probably would have had a different idea.

However, his ignorance, moral blindness, lack of honesty, and virulent Islamophobia are preventing him from seeing the truth.

Aznar seems to think that Israel represents western civilization in the heart of the Arab-Muslim world. However, this is either a big lie or a gigantic misunderstanding. We who live in Israel-Palestine know better.

In fact, Israel is a religio-ethno-centric entity upholding a decidedly racist doctrine based on Jewish, especially Ashkenazi supremacy. Even Jews of Middle Eastern origin, the true Semites, are discriminated against by the Ashkenazi establishment. In truth, there is more in common between Israel and Nazi Germany than between Israel and western Europe. I am saying this with the knowledge that fanatics like Aznar are not capable of bringing themselves to comprehending this fact which is readily acknowledge by many conscientious Jews.

Aznar argues that Israel’s right to exist shouldn’t be questioned as it was established by a United Nations resolution. Big deal!

Well, the UN never gave Israel a license to wage wars of aggression, occupy neighboring countries, savage and brutalize neighboring peoples, murder their children, men and women, destroy their homes and farms, steal their land, and expel millions to the four corners of the globe.

More to the point, a country that is based on ethnic cleansing, mass murder and mendacity loses its legitimacy irrespective of any UN resolutions.  Israel loses its legitimacy because it is a gigantic war crime, a crime against humanity. Israel is a mass murderer, a land thief, and liar. As such, it has no legitimacy.

The ignorant man from Spain claims that Israel has deeply rooted democratic institutions. Well, these remarks reflect shocking ignorance. We all know that Israeli democracy is only for Jews just as democracy went to the Whites whereas apartheid went to the Blacks and other colored people  in the defunct apartheid South Africa. And if one is not Jewish, his or her chances of obtaining equality before the law are nil. Just ask Ahmed Teibi what it means to be an Arab Knesset member in Israel?

Yes, Israeli leaders are elected, but so what?  Nazi leaders such as Adolph Hitler were also elected.

Yes, Israel has laws, and the laws are applied, but so did Nazi Germany where every thing was done according to law as well.

In the final analysis, it is not the application and implementation of laws that counts, but rather the extent to which these laws are fair and just. Indeed, it doesn’t make any difference whatsoever whether unjust and racist laws are passed by democratic or undemocratic regimes since their ultimate effect is the same.

Then Aznar claims that Israel exists under constant threat of attack. This is a clear lie because Israel is militarily the strongest country in the Middle East. It is a nuclear power and a virtual huge American aircraft carrier. And at the top of all of this, Israel  nearly completely controls the American government by virtue of  controlling Congress, whose members have long transformed themselves into  Israel’s most obsequious political whores at the American arena.

So, how could such a country be under constant attack?

Yes, the peoples of the Middle East are resisting Israeli Nazism just as the European peoples resisted the Nazi occupation of their countries. Resistance, in case Aznar doesn’t understand language, is not constant attacks.

A rape victim (a foreign occupation is an act of rape) has every right to repulse and resist the attacker’s onslaught. This is legitimate resistance, not “terror, or aggression, or constant attack.”  Indeed, calling Palestinian or Lebanese resistance to Israeli Nazism “terror “is a serious abuse of language. It is the ultimate fornication with language.

In the final analysis, the ultimate threat to regional stability and world peace is not the victim’s resistance to aggression, but the aggressor’s aggression and Israel has always been and continues to be the real aggressor.

Finally, a west whose survival depends on embracing Israeli Nazism, e.g. embracing the Zionist settlement enterprise in the West Bank, is not really worth maintaining. A fascist west would be doomed to implosion, sooner or latter. In fact, one exaggerates little by saying that Israel has already brought about the west’s moral downfall. Very often a physical downfall follows a moral downfall.

So, my advice to the west is  “don’t embrace Israeli Nazism. It would cost you your soul.”

Rigi’s execution in Iran: Why can’t Pakistan do this?

The Iranian authorities’ quick hearing and execution of Rigi also points toanother fact, i.e., the willingness and the resolve of Iran to track down and punish those beasts who kill in the name of religion or ethnicity. Now compare the Iranian response to terrorism with the Pakistani response to terrorism.

Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), Abdolmalek Rigi, head of Jundullah, a sectarian terrorist group (Iranian version of the Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan) was today executed in Iran for his involvement in terrorist acts against the state and people of Iran.

He was hanged at dawn at Tehran’s Evin prison in the presence of the families of his victims.

While this news has been widely reported in the international press, I could not help but notice three facts which are either ignored or distorted by the international media:

1. Jundullah, a terrorist organisation, is being presented as Sunni militancy. Far from truth, the group, Jundullah, does not represent Sunnis. Not unlike other terrorist organisations in the region, Al Qaeda, Taliban and Sipah-e-Sahaba, Jundullah recruits extremist (not moderate) Deobandi and Wahhabi Muslims. However, it would be naive as well as misleading to categorise Jundullah as a Sunni militant organisation. Jundullah is a terrorist organisation, and must be labelled as such.

2. The Iranian authorities’ quick hearing and execution of Rigi also points to another fact, i.e., the willingness and the resolve of Iran to track down and punish those beasts who kill in the name of religion or ethnicity. Now compare the Iranian response to terrorism with the Pakistani response to terrorism.

Why can’t Pakistan convict any terrorists?

The difference is clear. Whereas in Iran, the state and its various institutions are firmly committed to protect the state and the nation from acts of terrorism, in Pakistan, certain influential institutions (ISI in particular) are in fact creator, mentor and protector of terrorist organisations (such as Taliban, Al Qaeda, Sipah-e-Sahaba and Lashkar-e-Taiba).

In Pakistan, Jundullah is known for carrying out acts of terrorism not only against Shias in Quetta and Karachi (in collaboration with the Sipah-e-Sahaba) but also against other civilian and military targets. Only yesterday, 19 June 2010, four Junduallh terrorists were able to flee from police custody in Karachi.

The outcome is visible. In Iran, acts of terrorism are few and far between, but in Pakistan, they are an everyday affair.

3. The international media also largely ignored the confession of Rigi in which he acknowledged that the holy father of the ISI, i.e., American CIA, was involved in abetting and facilitating Jundullah’s terrorism against Iran.

Here is the transcript of Rigi’s confession broadcasted live on Press TV on February 25:

’After Obama was elected, the Americans contacted us and they met me in Pakistan. They met us after clashes with my group around March 17 in (the southeastern city of) Zahedan, and he (the US operative) said that Americans had requested a meeting.

I said we didn’t have any time for a meeting and if we do help them they should promise to give us aid. They said they would cooperate with us and will give me military equipment, arms and machine guns. They also promised to give us a base along the border with Afghanistan next to Iran.

They asked to meet me and we said where should we meet you and he said in Dubai. We sent someone to Dubai and we told a person to ask a place for myself in Afghanistan from the area near the operations and they complied that they would sort out the problem for us and they will find Mr. Rigi a base and guarantee his own security in Afghanistan or in any of the countries adjacent to Iran so that he can carry on his operations.

They told me that in Kyrgyzstan they have a base called Manas near Bishkek, and that a high-ranking person was coming to meet me and that if such high-ranking people come to the United Arab Emirates, they may be observed by intelligence people but in a place like Bishkek this high-ranking American person could come and we could reach an agreement on making personal contacts. But after the last major operation we took part in, they said that they wanted to meet with us.

The Americans said Iran was going its own way and they said our problem at the present is Iran… not al-Qaeda and not the Taliban, but the main problem is Iran. We don’t have a military plan against Iran. Attacking Iran is very difficult for us (the US). The CIA is very particular about you and is prepared to do anything for you because our government has reached the conclusion that there was nothing Americans could do about Iran and only I could take care of the operations for them.

One of the CIA officers said that it was too difficult for us to attack Iran militarily, but we plan to give aid and support to all anti-Iran groups that have the capability to wage war and create difficulty for the Iranian (Islamic) system. They reached the conclusion that your organization has the power to create difficulties for the Islamic Republic and they are prepared to give you training and/or any assistance that you would require, in terms of telecommunications security and procedures as well as other support, the Americans said they would be willing to provide it at an extensive level.’

The Zionist regime changes Gaza siege policy

The Zionist regime measure in changing the policy of Gaza blockade under the mounting international pressures is taking place while international organizations have called for full ending of Gaza siege.

According to Al-Jazeera TV Network, the Israeli security cabinet has announced a new policy on entry and exit of goods to Gaza Strip.

The new policy was announced weeks after increasing international pressure on the Zionist regime to put an end to Gaza blockade.

Al-Jazeera correspondent in a live show from Beitolmoqaddas said the Israeli earlier policy was vague but according to the information we have received, some items would be allowed to be entered to Gaza; most of which are food and hygiene items.

He added given that the Zionist regime has changed the Gaza policy it is expected that it announces the list of the banned items to Gaza, and basically any item which is not on this list is allowed to be entered to Gaza.

The Israeli measure in changing the Gaza policy is carrying out while international organizations such as Amnesty International and the United Nations have demanded an end to Gaza siege.

Hanieh: Qods is under the Zionists siege like Gaza

The legal Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Hanieh has said thatBeitolmoqaddas is under the Zionist regime siege like Gaza.

According to JNN, Hanieh in the meeting of the Palestinian legislative council added Beitolmoqqaddas is in the Zionist regime political and security blockade through development of settlements, Judaization of Islamic sites, exile of the Palestinians living in the city, and revocation of their IDs.

Ismail Hanieh regarded the Zionist regime’s decision to exile four Palestinian lawmakers living in Beitolmoqaddas in line with the regime’s efforts for Judaization of the city and stressed the formation of a Palestinian state with Beitolmoqaddas as its capital.

At the same time, the senior Palestinian negotiator, Saeb Ariqat said that Mahmoud Abbas, the head of Palestinian Self-Rule Authority, while denouncing the policy of destruction of Palestinian houses and the continued development of Zionist settlements, has officially called for cancellation of the Zionist regime’s decision to exile four Palestinian lawmakers.

The Zionist regime recently exiled four Palestinian lawmakers from Qods.

Crisis of the American Occupation of Iraq Monday, June 21, 2010

The formation of the National Alliance following merger of the State of LawCoalition and the Iraqi National Alliance was the most important event in Iraq. Friday prayer leaders and religious authorities welcomed the new coalition and called on political currents to move toward the ideals of the Iraqi nation.

Head of al-Iraqiyya List, Ayayd Allawai last week met and discussed with the head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Assembly Seyyed Ammar Hakim.

At the same time, Seyyed Moqtada Sadr called for holding an all-parties’ meeting for a solution to the current stalemate on formation of the new government.

A member of State of Law Coalition led by Premier Nouri Maliki said Saudi Arabia is meddling in the Iraqi political trend.

The Zionist regime plot for continuing occupation of Iraq shows the regime’s conspiracies against Iraq.

A new coalition called the National Alliance consisting of State of Law Coalition and Iraqi National Alliance came into existence officially. The issue was officially announced in a letter to the Sunni speaker of the new parliament Hassan al-Alawi as well as the Iraqi Federal Court. The biggest parliamentary fraction consisting of the Shi’ite Muslim Parties’ coalition was established with the formation of National Allaince. At present, the State of Law Coalition and the Iraqi National Alliance have 159 seats together in the parliament and are considered the biggest parliamentary bloc. Earlier, the Kurdish Coalition had said that in case of merger of the State of Law and the National Alliance, it would join them. Now with the formation of National Accord Coalition, the way has been paved for the Kurds to join the new coalition. If the Kurds’ Coalition joins the new National Alliance, they will have overwhelming majority in the parliament. This can speed up the trend of forming the new government.

At present, there is a consensus between the Shi’ite Muslims and Kurdish coalitions over continuation of Jalal Talebani’s presidency. The Shi’ite Muslim Coalition is busy in consultations to introduce the candidate for the premier’s post. So far, Nuri Maliki, Ibrahim Jafari and Adel Abdul-Mahdi have been brought up as candidates for the premier’s post. Leaders of State of Law and Iraqi National Alliance have expressed hope that establishment of the National Alliance can speed up the trend of reaching consensus on the new premier. The first session of the new parliament led by Hassan al-Alawi – the eldest parliament lawmaker of the al-Iraqiyya List – is due to be held on Monday June 14. The parliament should introduce president and prime minister immediately after the new session is held.

A member of the State of Law Coalition led by Premier Nouri Maliki criticized Saudi Arabia’s meddling in Iraqi domestic affairs. Adnan as-Seraj said Saudi Arabia was trying to obstruct formation of the coalition among Shi’ite Muslim. He said that the new coalition between the State of Law and the Iraqi National Alliance now closes the way for Riyadh’s meddling. Saudi Arabia is spending huge amounts of money to back secular and marginal currents in order to obstruct formation of the national reconciliation government. Evidence shows that Saudi officials in a move in line with the United States has tried to find a place in the country’s political scene through financing terrorist groups in Iraq. No doubt that the formation of the National Alliance has foiled their plots.

The Former Zionist Internal Security Minister said Iraqi oil should flow toward Israel from the northern Kirkuk fields. According to Jerusalem Post, Avi Dichter in a speech in the Israeli Security Research Center said Iraqi isolation is on the agenda of the Zionist regime. Israel has focused on Iraq since the American occupation of the country in 2003. Israeli merchants and businessmen have entered Iraq with non-Israeli passports and have invested in the country. They are active especially in northern Iraq and the Kurdistan area. Since 2003, tens of Israeli companies with non-Israeli names have invested in agriculture, technical, health, oil and developmental fields. In view of these facts, the Zionist regime wants the US occupation of Iraq to be continued so that it could exploit the lucrative market of that country. But the Zionists have failed because evidence shows that at present one of the priorities among Iraqi political groups especially Shi’ite Muslims and Kurd groups is to boost national unity.

Quetta : Two Shia Brothers Embraced Martydom By firing of Terrorists of Jundullah

JNN 20.06.10 Two Real brothers Hassan and Hasnain s/o Mehmood owner of Mehmood Leather , embraced Martydom , when there car was fired , by the waiting assailant , who open fire on there car, by which both the brothers were critically injured , and there cousin Nawaz s/o Mohammad Lad, also got shot , all where rushed to the Civil Hospital Quetta, where both the brother could not survive , while the cousin Nawaz is under treatment in, is in stable condition.

Namaz-e-Janaza of both Brothers will be performed on Monday at Nichari Imambargah at Alamdar Road, Quetta.

It looks the government have become Hostage to the terrorists , as there is no writ of the governtment to maintain law and order situation in the country , and the target Killing of Shia Community continues, which is creating great currents with in the community , as in some areas it looks that the government is patronizing the terrorist and the rest of the parts it looks it have surrendered to there activities, as when ever they want they can shoot and kill Innocent People , while if even by chance any of there Colleagues is apprehended by the law enforcement agencies , they get them freed by attacking openly ,whether in the Hospital in Lahore ,or in the limits of City Court Karachi.

While if they are not even freed by attack , they are even given clean chit by the courts , for lack of evidence , or weak prosecution . While the terrrorist are getting advantages from all the sides , whether being in the frame of law or being against the law. And the Innocent Shia Community people are continuously being martyred by these Wahabi Terrorists , who are heavily funded by the saudi’s , CIA and Mossad, who’s ultimate goal is to Dis Integrate Pakistan , The Fort of Islam .

Pakistan should take example from Brother Islamic Country Iran , as where there Justice system is so much competent that No criminal can run away by the hand of Justice, As even the Most Intelligent criminal are apprehended and are brought to Book , sooner or later and are punished according to the law . So no other group or Person can think of getting involved in any type of criminal activities , as it is evident from the fact  that even after allocating hundred of Million dollars in US Budget for Penetrating in Iran and its territories  , and even after 30 years of Islamic Revolution , US is unable to break Iran’s defense system. Or to Destabilize its Integrity or its  economy.

Saudi authorities arrested a human rights activist defending Shia Muslims rights

Saudi security sources arrested a human rights activist for criticizing theSaudi Wahhabi government attacks on Shia Muslim citizens.

Saudi security sources arrested a human rights activist for criticizing the Saudi Wahhabi government attacks on Shia Muslim citizens.

Human Rights Watch ordered Saudi King immediately release a human rights activist who detained illegally just because of his criticizing article against Saudi Wahhabis who always use pressure against Ahl ul Bayt followers. The charges against the activist, Shaikh Mikhlif bin Dahham al-Shammari, appear to violate his right to free expression, Human Rights Watch said.

Arresting officers told al-Shammari they were acting on the orders of Prince Muhammad bin Fahd bin Abd al-‘Aziz, the governor of the Eastern Province, in response to articles al-Shammari had written and published recently on several websites, blocked in Saudi Arabia, that criticized statements of clerics attacking Shia Muslims.

“Arresting Mikhlif al-Shammari’s simply for opinions he expressed peacefully shows the limited reach of King Abdullah’s commitment so far, five years into his reign, to protect human rights,” said Sarah Leah Whitson, Middle East director at Human Rights Watch.

Earlier, on May 15, Khobar police arrested al-Shammari over the articles he had written criticizing anti-Shia religious views. Al-Shammari told Human Rights Watch at the time that he refused to answer questions put to him by the police since King Abdullah had ordered that cases regarding publications fall within the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Information and Culture, not the police and regular courts. The police released him after six hours based on a personal bail guarantee, but the police changed the description of his case from one concerning his articles to one of “creating public attention against corruption,” al-Shammari told Human Rights Watch.

He was arrested again on the evening of June 15, while he was dining at the home of an acquaintance in Jubail, 80 kilometers north of his home in Khobar. Officers of the Criminal Investigation Department took him to the Khobar police station, where they placed him in a holding cell overnight with 10 other persons. Al-Shammari was able to communicate briefly with his family and Human Rights Watch. On June 16, he began a hunger strike to protest his arbitrary detention.  His arrest was the result of the earlier investigation into his articles, al-Shammari told Human Rights Watch, but he has not been charged or brought before a prosecutor.

In one of the articles in question, al-Shammari responded to remarks of Muhammad al-‘Arifi, a controversial government-salaried imam of the Buradi mosque in Riyadh. During a sermon on January 1, al-‘Arifi had described Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani, whom many Saudi and other Shia Muslims consider their highest religious authority, as an “obscene, irreligious atheist.” Al-Shammari asked how Sunnis would feel if a Shia had called al-‘Arifi an “obscene, irreligious, atheist Wahhabi in Najd.”

Since December 2009, al-Shammari has published 18 articles on public interest and human rights issues, including Sunni-Shia relations.

Iran asks for devising plan for global nuclear disarmament

Islamic Republic of Iran calling on Disarmament Conference to begin serious disarmament talks, asked for devising a chronological plan for total global nuclear disarmament.

According to IRIB, Iran’s Ambassador and permanent representative Mohammad-Reza Sajjadi made the comment at Geneva Disarmament Conference on June 15th.

He added, “The nuclear arsenals of certain states pose the greatest threats against the world peace and security today.”

Sajjadi said, “It is a pity that two decades after the end to the Cold War, its malicious heritage is still exerting its weigh against the international community. Nuclear weapons are sill stockpiled at the arsenals of a limited number of states, and the military doctrines on their usage keep getting updated.”

He criticized the usage of nuclear weapons, particularly against the countries that do not possess them, arguing, “The world cannot wait for good to see whether the countries that possess the nuclear weapons are willing to annihilate them, or not; therefore, it is necessary for the international community to adopt serious and immediate measures in the field.”

Amnesty International Urges an End to Gaza Siege

The Amnesty International has referred to the Zionist regime’s new deceptive move to distract the attention of world public opinion, and has underlined that Israel should completely lift the siege of Gaza, because this siege violates international rules and regulations.

According to jnn, the Amnesty International noted that given the announcement of Zionist regime’s Cabinet about ease of Gaza siege, it is perfectly clear that the usurper state of Israel has no intention of lifting the siege of Gaza and ending the collective punishment of the Palestinian population of this impoverished enclave.

Based on the statement issued by Amnesty International, Israel only allows the entry of a few goods to this coastal region, while the Zionist regime still obstructs the entry of many goods to this coastal sliver.

Many peace activists and humanitarian organizations have called for the lift of siege of Gaza.

European Sources: the Saudi intelligence carried out the wider and most ferocious media campaign against Iran, since the presidential elections one year ago

Persist throughout the year as if it was a daily event. Saudi Arabia was ready since two weeks to create an intensified media escalation in this regard coincident with the first anniversary of the Iranian presidential elections”.

European sources in Brussels revealed that clear and explicit instructions issued by the Saudi authorities were given to the media people and centers for studies funded by them, to work on putting an extensive media plan in order to exploit the first anniversary of the Iranian presidential elections, which will take place early next week.

The said authorities want mass media to carry out the wider and most ferocious media campaigns, including comments, analysis, and interviews with opposition people and with those experts of the Iranian political affairs. The media campaign should also include covering the analysis and commentary published on the Iranian opposition’s websites. The aim of all this is to benefit from this chance to launch a wider media and political campaign against the Islamic Regime and against the government of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

The European sources told “Nahrain News Net” that, “The office for Iran of the Saudi intelligence service, submitted on the beginning of last May an evaluation report to the senior leaderships in this service, on the performance of the systems and mass media funded by Saudi Arabia and working in Gulf, Arab, and other foreign countries. The report evaluates their method of facing the Islamic Regime and supporting the opposition, particularly the reformers. Based upon the report, what has been achieved in this regard during the past year in making the challenging of the results of the “Iranian presidential elections” last long and in supporting the reformers is considered “a success and a great achievement”.

The report considered that this achievement is an ongoing news event that keeps on reminding the world and the Iranians that there is a “real” political crisis in Iran.
The office for Iran of the Saudi intelligence service- which includes Saudi experts, who speak the Persian language and who had been trained in Britain and in the United States- strengthened its evaluation results of the project of “the media and political campaign” against Iran by the views and assessments of the Iranian opposition.  Additionally, the evaluation report included the evaluation of Iranian and Arab political and media figures, those who are interested in this Saudi media campaign.

The European sources stated, “We are concerned that this media escalation and Saudi confrontation with Iran might produce more tension in the Gulf region, and might push towards creating the phenomenon of polarization and axes in the region.

This comes especially that some Gulf States do not accept to be dominated by a Saudi leadership. Moreover, some of the Gulf States are worried about the Saudi attempts aiming at withdrawing their leaderships and at supporting rival ones in order to take hold of the power therein. The said fears and concerns might lead them to develop relations with Iran and/or to take a position rejecting any Western or Gulf escalation plans against it”.

The said European sources added, “This media and political Saudi project against Iran was directly supported by the results and decisions of coordination, cooperation, and meetings that were taking place between the office for Iran of the Saudi intelligence service and the experts of the Iranian affairs”. Those experts work in the American and British intelligence service, are living in the Gulf region, and are closely following up the Iranian affairs”.

The sources stressed the fact that “The European intelligence services working in the Gulf have accurate information that confirms that the Saudis have put a budget of hundreds of millions of dollars to support the Arab and foreign mass media.

In fact, they are doing so in order to destabilize Iran and to undermine the Islamic Republic Regime. This comes after Riyadh realized that Saudi Arabia, through the media supported directly by it, was alone able to keep Iran’s crisis, after announcing the results of the elections, hot and to make it persist throughout the year as if it was a daily event. Saudi Arabia was ready since two weeks to create an intensified media escalation in this regard coincident with the first anniversary of the Iranian presidential elections”.

On the other hand, the Oriental radio station, which broadcasts from Oslo, the capital city of Norway, stated, “Iran has faced over the past year that followed the announcement of the election results, the deadliest media and political attack during the last two decades.

This comes because the Western states and at the forefront America and Britain, as well as some Gulf States, particularly Saudi Arabia, believe that the political and military force of the Islamic Republic is growing more and more.

They were also aware of the seriousness of the challenging mood of the administration of the President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad during the four years of his reign. He was challenging the Western pressure and he has fiercely faced the risks and threats that his government was facing during that period.

Thus, President Ahmadinejad succeeded in gaining the support and the backing of the Islamic Republic Leader. Additionally, the poor and middle classes in Iran supported his domestic and foreign policies”.

OIC members to review Israeli ties

The Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) has renewed a call on its member states with Israeli ties to reconsider their relations with the Tel Aviv regime.

The Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) has renewed a call on its member states with Israeli ties to reconsider their relations with the Tel Aviv regime.

OIC Secretary General Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu made the call on Monday, saying the suggestion was one of the resolutions reached at the organization’s executive committee meeting last Sunday.

The meeting came after Israel launched a deadly attack on a Gaza-bound aid convoy on May 31, which killed 20 people and left scores more injured.

The onslaught sparked an outrage across the world and prompted Muslim communities around the globe to demand action on the part of Arab and Muslim leaders, especially the Organization of Islamic Conference.

During its Sunday meeting, the OIC issued a statement condemning “in the strongest possible terms” Israel’s attack on the Gaza Freedom Flotilla “an act of state terrorism.”

The OIC agreed to press Israel lift its crippling siege of Gaza. Other resolutions made were to convene a United Nations general assembly under the title of “United for Peace” and also to take necessary measures and sanctions against Israel.

“We are working to implement these resolutions. The OIC member countries are also in consultation,” Malaysian state-run Bernama news agency quoted the OIC chief as saying in Kuala Lumpur.

The OIC is the world’s largest Muslim grouping, several of whose 57 member countries — including Egypt, Jordan, Turkey — have diplomatic relations with Israel.

Bahraini Shia Muslims Under Severe Torture of Wahhabi Security Authorities

30 May 2010The Bahrain Center for Human Rights expresses it great concern for the continuous escalation pursued by the security authorities in Bahrain represented in the violence and bloodiness of the authorities in confronting the growing public protests that prevail the Bahraini villages and areas opposing the authority’s policy.

The BCHR received several complaints from sufferers and victims of this policy, the last which was the young Hasan Ali Darwish (20 years old) suffering severe injuries in the village of Karzakan, last Monday 17 May 2010, due to being shot by the Special Forces live ammo “shotgun” when he was leaving his grandmother’s house and heading towards his house.

The village of Karzakan had witnessed a protest demonstration that led to the intervention of the Special Forces which used live ammo to disperse the protestors. The shooting, which the youth faced, caused a punctured lung which led to internal bleeding.

The 12 splinters he faced have not yet been removed. The local newspapers published a news piece stating that the Public Prosecution ordered the imprisonment of the accused for 30 days in custody.

Two youth from the village of Malkiya suffered from injuries due to firing live ammo “shotgun”[ii][2] at them on Tuesday 13 April 2010, when the youth Abdullah Hasan (18 years old) and Sadiq Ali Abdullah (18 years old) where walking to the baker in the same area, and were startled by the firing of live ammo at them which led to scattered injuries on the bodies of the two youth.

Abdullah Hasan was injured with shotgun splinters on his hand, leg and chest, while Sadiq Ali was injured in the head and other parts of his body. When they turned to the hospital, the security forces were contacted and who interrogated them and kept them under security surveillance, then they were pulled out of hospital by force and taken to prison to face the charge of assembling.

The shotgun fires a bullet that explodes directly after firing it, only to offload dozens of solid balls that get scattered over a wide area in aim of hitting the largest number possible of targets, and this normally leads to the downfall of several wounded amidst the demonstrators.

These solid blocks penetrate the human skin and stop at the bone, and it is difficult to later extract those blocs from the body, as there are still dozens of Bahraini citizens whose bodies suffer from the remains of these metal blocs since the nineties.

It is also difficult to cure or remove these blocs due their small size, and there are many who got killed in the incidents of the nineties due to the indulgence in using this weapon which is intended at hunting small animals and birds.

In another case received by the BCHR which proved the excessive use of force by the Special Forces when dealing with the inhabitants of the Bahraini villages, two students from the Al-Jabriya Industrial School, and they are Mohammed Ammar Ahmed and Sayed Abbas Habib (17 year-olds), were arrested on 14 April.

The bus carrying the students back to their village was driving near the concentration of the Special Forces stationed at the village of Karzakan, and it was filled with the sounds of clapping and singing, which angered the Special Forces and pushed them stop the bus and beat everyone inside and arrest the earlier mentioned students without any legal justification.

Some of the Bahraini village and areas are being besieged with Special Forces for several months, and these forces and the civilian militias belonging to them of foreign individuals brought by the security apparatuses as mercenary forces from several tribes in Syria, Jordan, Yemen or the province of Balochistan in Pakistan.

These forces raid the residents of the Shiite villages and abuse them in a systematic manner, where the villages are stormed and live ammo, rubber bullets and tear gas is used, which leads to the injury of hundreds of people among them elders, women and children.

Several properties, houses and mosques are damaged. The mercenary forces are used to prevent the political seminars and to attack the peaceful protests and demonstrations. The Special Security Forces use armed civilian militias wearing, in some cases, black masks and attack the villages. The description “mercenary” can be applied to these Special Forces that are selected in a structured manner, and from certain countries; to be used security and military wise outside the usual framework of the security and military apparatuses of the country.

These “mercenaries” are granted materialistic and job privileges that the citizens working in the same unit and same jobs do not get. They are given housing, travel tickets and are thrown into political disagreements which they are not a part of, and they are trained in a special manner to raid the villages and humiliate the residents.

The votes of these mercenaries were also used, after actively granting them the Bahraini citizenship, to marginalize the parliamentary elections of 2006, which is a matter that is expected to be repeated in the coming elections. The BCHR believes that targeting the Shiite villages on a regular daily basis by using foreign forces from a Sunni sectarian background, aims at creating sedition between the people of the country of the two sects, and to deepen the differences and sectarian tensions.

This policy was met with utter rejection by the civil society institutions and human rights organizations in Bahrain. In a fourth incident that happened in Sitra area, north of the capital, a car carrying two youth who are Yousif Ahmed Hubail (28 years old) and Hasan Ahmed Hubail (21 years old) – the brothers of one of the wanted – was stopped by civilians in order to arrest them without knowing the reason behind that. When the two youth refused to obey these civilians due to them being unaware of their identities, the civilians severely beat the two youth.

It later turned out that these civilian forces had come to arrest their brother (Hubail), and who was not in the car they were driving.

Yousif Hubail and the Bruises Caused by Beating

On the same day, the two youth submitted a notification to the Sitra district police station; however they were surprised that the nature of categorizing this case changed from them being plaintiffs to defendants, on the charge of attacking security men while carrying out their official duty. The majority of the villages and areas of Bahrain witness rising public tensions, and semi-daily confrontations with the Special Forces.

The demands of the protestors are usually presented in stopping the systematic sectarian discrimination against the Shiite sect, whose pace increased since the arrival of the current King to the throne, and to stop the policy of the political naturalization in aim of changing the demography to manipulate the results of the elections, and to stop the continuous arrests of the people of these villages, and to end the established torture in the Bahraini prisons, and to stop bringing, funding and training foreign mercenary forces. Also, of the reasons for protests is the increase of poverty level among the citizens and the pervading corruption amidst the ruling class and the class surrounding it, and the authority being a party in inflaming sectarian disputes between the Shiites and Sunnis, and marginalizing the role of the Parliament and excelling in humiliating the loyal representatives of people in it.The Bahrain Center for Human Rights recommends:
1. Stop bringing firearms of all kinds, and to refrain from the use of excessive violence against the demonstrators;

2. Stop bringing and exploiting the non-Bahraini mercenaries with a sectarian agenda in the various security apparatuses.

3. Set up an independent commission of inquiry, to investigate the issue of using excessive force, and the illegal exploitation of foreigners, and to bring the ones responsible for it to trial;

4. Initiate an actual dialogue process with the pillars of society to resolve the crisis the country is going through, and to stop resorting to security solutions

Maliki-Allawi meet ends in agreement to set up national partnership govt

A one-hour meeting between Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and al-Iraqiya leader Iyad Allawi on Saturday ended in an agreement on the need to form a national partnership government encompassing all groups, an advisor for Maliki said.

“The meeting took place in a very positive atmosphere that would open the door for more dialogues and perhaps could give an impetus and lend more seriousness to them,” Ali al-Musawi told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

Meanwhile, Maysoon al-Damlouji, the spokeswoman for al-Iraqiya bloc, said the meeting, which took place at Maliki’s office today (June 12), witnessed talks on forming the next Iraqi government and helped “break the ice” between the two sides.

The talks were attended by Sheikh Khalid al-Attiya, Hassan al-Saneed, Khudeir al-Khuzaie, Tareq al-Hashimi, Mohammed Allawi and Hassan al-Alawi.

The meeting comes a couple of days before convening the first parliament session, expected on Monday, and two days after a meeting between a delegation from al-Iraqiya and a delegation from Maliki’s Dawlat al-Qanoon (State of Law).

Taliban execute 7 year Old as spy

Taliban militants publicly hanged a 7-year-old boy for spying in the Taliban stronghold of Helmand province, an Afghan official told the Associated Press.

The child was placed on trial by the Islamic extremist group and later found guilty of working for Afghan President Hamid Karzai’s government, the local official said.

Karzai on Thursday condemned the alleged act, calling it a “crime against humanity”.

“A 7-year-old boy cannot be a spy,” said Karzai in published reports. “A 7-year-old boy cannot be anything but a seven-year-old boy, and therefore hanging or shooting to kill a seven-year-old boy … is a crime against humanity.”

New British Prime Minister David Cameron — making his first visit to Afghanistan since being elected last month — joined Karzai in condemning recent attacks, including the hanging.

“It is an absolutely horrific crime,” Cameron said during a news conference in Kabul. “ I think it says more about the Taliban than any book, than any article, than any speech could ever say.

Around the time of the child’s reported execution, insurgents also dragged a Kandahar provincial council member, Amir Mohammad Noorzai, from his house and fatally shot him, said local government spokesman Zalmai Ayoubi.

In the past, militants have carried out similar killings of those accused of spying, said Dawoud Ahmadi, the provincial governor’s spokesman.

Three years ago, a 70-year-old woman and a child in the Musa Qala district of the province were executed following similar allegations.

There has been spike in bloodshed in recent weeks for foreign troops in Afghanistan, and the latest NATO death — an American killed Thursday by a roadside bomb, the U.S. military said — was the 30th this month for the alliance, and the 20th for the United States, according to a count by The Associated Press.

Israel fails to assassinate Seyyed Hassan Nasarullah

Hezbullah Secretary General Seyyed Hassan Nasrullah stands as an indestructible intimidation; unshakable to the Zionist state Israel, though the Zionist regime in its war crimes and terrorist’s activities has martyred many of Hezbullah and Hamas leaders’.                                                                                              According to Abna.ir Ahlul Bayt News Agency & Lebanon’s website “Al-Nashra” wrote on behalf of a Russian sources, Israeli notorious terrorists agency Mossad has tried many a times to deduce the surrounding of Hezbullah’s Leader – Seyyed Hassan Nasrullah, to the extent that these terrorist emissaries came close to his whereabouts twice. But Hezbullah’s tactical defense impaired their heinous act and ruined their plans.According to the website, the Zionist leaders have confessed that they have failed number of times to assassinate the Secretary General of Lebanese Hezbullah. Al-Nashra, on account of Kuwaiti newspaper “Al-Jareeda” elaborated; recently Zionist State instructed its puppets in Beirut region Zahia to assassinate Hezbullah leader Seyyed Hassan Nasarullah but their conspiracy to assassinate Hezbullah leader was once against failed.Al-Nashra further writes that when Syed Hasan Nasrullah went to meet Syrian President Basharul Asad and Iranian President Mahmood Ahmedi Nijad in Syria for the second time, the Zionist State had intelligence of it. But the Seyyed Hassan with his high traits, faculty and valor defied the Zionists tactics and this attack of the illicit Zionist Government went in vain like any other.                                                                                                                                   In any case, Seyyed Hasan Nasrullah has become an inaccessible desire for Zionist state Israel, letting them eat dust, despite the fact that Israel has martyred many leaders of Hamas, Jejad-e-Islami and Hezbullah.

Leader: Region on the Brink of Crucial Changes

Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, termed events in the Middle East, especially those concerning the chronic issue of the Zionist-usurped land of Palestine, as a sign of positive developments in the region.

In a meeting today with the Majlis Speaker, Deputy Speakers and several lawmakers, he presented a comprehensive analysis of the changing critical conditions in the world, and stated that all these cases are a sign of probable changes in the region.

The Leader of Islamic Revolution said great changes are taking place at the international level concerning the United States and some European countries and their influence.

He referred to the Iranian nation’s unity and awareness and its unique devotion to the ideals of the Father of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini (may his soul rest in peace), and appreciated the unprecedented presence of people in the ceremony marking the 21st anniversary of the passing away of the beloved leader.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Ayatollah Khamenei termed amiable cooperation between the Executive and Legislative Branches of the Iranian government as necessary.

He stressed that cooperation should yield results, since it is not acceptable that both sides claim they have done all the works, and it is for the other side to take the steps.

The Leader made it clear that no notion of defiance on the part of the Legislature should be shown towards the Executive, and there should be no reasons for delaying of work at the Majlis.

He also stressed that the Executive should act according to the laws and the Legislature should make sure in this regard.

Costs of the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars

English Radio correspondent Mehdi Geramifard has interviewed Beau Grosscup, professor of international relations at California State University in Chico and author of the book: “Strategic Terror, the Politics and Ethics of Arial Bombardment.” The interview deals with costs of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars by the US administration which has passed 1 trillion dollars for the American taxpayers.

US bombs martyred 55 Shia in Yemen

Amnesty International says the United States used cluster bombs on a cruise missile in Yemen, killing 55 people, most of whom were civilians

The attack, according to the rights group, targeted Al-Maajala in the Abyan province at a time when Washington was pushing hard to project militants in the country.

“Amnesty International is gravely concerned by evidence that cluster munitions appear to have been used in Yemen,” said Mike Lewis, the group’s arms control researcher, AFP reported.

The group cited a Yemeni parliamentary committee as reporting in February that the attack had killed 41 local residents, including 14 women and 21 children, in addition to 14 alleged militants.

Deputy Director of AI’s Middle East and North Africa Program, Philip Luther warned that “a military strike of this kind against alleged militants without an attempt to detain them is at the very least unlawful.”

“The fact that so many of the victims were actually women and children indicates that the attack was in fact grossly irresponsible, particularly given the likely use of cluster munitions,” he also said.

Lewis said, “Cluster munitions have indiscriminate effects and unexploded bomblets threaten lives and livelihoods for years afterwards.”

AI had obtained photographs which showed remains of the BGM-109D Tomahawk land-attack cruise missile. “This type of missile, launched from a warship or submarine, is designed to carry a payload of 166 cluster sub-munitions (bomblets) which each explode into over 200 sharp steel fragments that can cause injuries up to 150 meters (about 500 feet) away,” an AI statement said.

“An incendiary material inside the bomblet also spreads fragments of burning zirconium designed to set fire to nearby flammable objects,” it added.

Iranian President Demands End to Gaza siege

President Dr. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, denouncing the Zionist entity’s act of terrorist piracy on the high seas twice within a week against relief flotillas bound for besieged Gaza that were hijacked to Israeli ports, demanded the end of the blockade right away.

In an interview with ATV Channel of Turkey last night, he prayed for the souls of those who were brutally murdered on the first flotilla last week and wished for swift recovery for the injured.

The Iranian president called for dispatching of another aid flotilla to Gaza’s besieged 1.5 million Palestinians, saying he will discuss this matter with Turkish officials and officials of other friendly countries.

Asked on the repeated threats against the Islamic Republic by the Zionist entity, he reiterated Israel does not dare even to think about attacking Iran, in view of the fact that Zionist power compared to the might of Islamic Iran is like that of a mosquito in front of a lion.

Dr. Ahmadinejad referring to the trilateral Tehran Declaration on nuclear fuel swap inked on May 17 by Iran, Turkey, and Brazil, said this is based on peace and stability as well as on righteousness and justice.

He advised the US and its few West European accomplices to respect the joint measure by Iran, Turkey and Brazil which has global support.

The Iranian president made it clear that US President Barak Obama who had harped on changes in US policies, should accept realities and review Washington’s irrational approach toward Iran before it is too late, otherwise, it would mean the end of the Obama regime.

Referring to the recent assault of the Zionist regime against the Freedom Flotilla to Gaza, Nasrollah said that this attack once again proved that the Zionist regime of Israel, with the West’s unwavering support, is not committed to any of the international principles.

Tehran's Friday Prayers Sermons

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, has said the best criterion for the Islamic revolution is Imam Khomeini and the policies and ideas of the founder of the Islamic republic.

Tehran’s Friday Prayers were led today by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei . Addressing a huge multi-million strong gathering of mourners in the mausoleum of the late founder of the Islamic republic, Imam Khomeini (may his souls rest in peace), the Leader expounded on Imam Khomeini’s thoughts, ideology and righteous path, and emphasized the need for determining a criterion for avoiding deviations in the path of the Islamic revolution and stressed that the late Imam Khomeini himself sets the best standard, the best criterion, yardstick and gauge for this purpose.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said the issue of occupied Palestine, Gaza’s Zionist-imposed blockade, and the Israeli regime’s attack on the “Freedom Flotilla” are some of the most important issues of the world of Islam today. The Leader emphasized that the world of Islam must stand with all of its might against the callousness and brutality of the Israeli regime.

The Leader went on to remind the audience of the historic phrase of the late Imam, that “Israel is a cancerous Tumor”, and said the barbaric attack of the Israeli military on a flotilla of ships carrying humanitarian aid for the people of blockaded Gaza strip was a huge mistake by the Israeli regime. He added mistakes such as this bring the Israeli regime closer to its “inevitable and certain end” – its plunge into the abyss of death.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei referred to the NPT review conference which drew to a close recently in New York, and said: “Some major powers organized this event in order to make it more difficult for nations of this world to have access to peaceful nuclear energy, placing more obstacles along their way”.

The Leader said some of the major results of the NPT review conference were the fact that many nations called fore destruction of all nuclear weapons, they called for a complete halt to manufacture of all nuclear weapons worldwide , they condemned the Israeli regimes nuclear weapons arsenal, and emphasized that all countries are lawfully entitled to peaceful civilian use of nuclear energy.

The ceremonies marking the 21st anniversary of demise of the Founder of Islamic Republic of Iran late Imam Khomeini (May his soul rest in peace) was held in late Imam’s holy shrine, today (Friday), in the massive presence of the revolutionary and pious people of Iran.

Today, Friday June 4, marks the 21st anniversary of departure of Imam Khomeini. The Father of Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini passed away in the year 1989 at the age of 87; a decade after the victory of Islamic Revolution.

The people of Iran and many of the freedom-seeking people across the world were deeply saddened by the demise of late Imam. The people had lost their popular leader; their source of emulation; and their pioneer of true Islam.

The massive participation of the people in the funeral of late Imam Khomeini (May his soul rest in peace), was a reminder of the glorious and epic presence of people on February 1, 1979, which was the day in which late Imam returned to Iran after 15 years in exile. The global official news agencies estimated that nine million people took part in late Imam’s funeral.

Therefore, the departure of late Imam, like his existence, became the source of awakening and movement.

Following the presentation of late Imam’s testament by the then President Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, the Assembly of Experts started consultations for choosing a successor to late Imam. Finally, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, who was one of the prominent followers of late Imam, and was one of the prominent figures of the Islamic Revolution, was elected for this major prophecy with the unanimous votes of the Assembly of Experts.

UNSC statement, humanity betrayal

Hamas has lashed out at the UN Security Council’s weak and dubious statement on the Israeli attack on the Freedom Flotilla carrying relief aid for besieged Gaza, urging all world countries to cut diplomatic ties with the Zionist regime.

According to Press TV, Head of Hamas’ Political Bureau, Khaled Mash’al, said on Tuesday evening “What the Security Council did today, under the shadow of a US pressure and veto, is a betrayal of humanity and not just for the people of Gaza and their supporters.”

He called for punishment of Israel, saying: We call for the trial of Israeli War Minister Ehud Barak, Premier Benjamin Netanyahu and all Zionist leaders as war criminals.”

Mash’al called on US President Barack Obama and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev to “take the bold initiative of a historic decision to break the blockade on Gaza and force Israel to do that.”

World Shia Leader: West to blame for Gaza aid raid

World Shia Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei says the United States, Britain and France must be held accountable for an Israeli attack on a Gaza-bound aid convoy.Imam Khamenei, in his message, condemned the Israeli attack on peace flotilla which was carrying aid for the people in the Gaza Strip on Monday.
Today, the issue of Palestine is neither an Arabic nor an Islamic one, but it is an issue pertaining to the contemporary world.

Imam Khamenei reiterated that supporters of the Zionist regime, particularly the US, Britain and France must be held accountable for the aid convoy attack.

“By such a move, the Tel Aviv regime proved that the Zionism is a new and harsher version of Fascism supported and assisted by the so-called advocates of democracy and human rights particularly Washington,” Imam Khamenei emphasized.

The US, Britain, France and other European states that have politically, economically and militarily assisted the criminal Zionists must be seriously held accountable for the atrocities of the occupying regime, World Shia Leader said.

Imam Khamenei also denounced occupation of the Palestinian territories by a criminal, impudent and insane regime which has imposed an economic blockade on 1.5 million men, women and children in the Gaza Strip depriving them of food and necessary medicines for the past three years.

The Arab governments are faced with a difficult test, he said, urging the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) and the Arab League not to be satisfied with less than lifting the Gaza siege.

Imam Khamenei further stressed that invasion of Palestinian lands in the West Bank should be stopped and war criminals such as Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak be put on trial.

“The combatant Palestinian nation and the people and popular government of Gaza should know that their enemy is currently weaker and more vulnerable than any other time,” Ayatollah Khamenei said.

The Zionists’ Monday attack on the aid convoy, like the invasion of Lebanon and Gaza in the past years, would bring the Tel Aviv regime closer to its end, World Shia Leader stated.

According to media reports, early Monday morning in international waters, Israeli forces intercepted and took control of the six-ship aid convoy, which was carrying 10,000 tons of aid and hundreds of activists from several countries. At least 20 people were killed in serious violence on one or more of the vessels.

President Ahmadinejad Slams Israel's State Terrorism

The Islamic Republic of Iran has strongly denounced the fresh act of state piracy and terrorism by the illegal Zionist entity that resulted in the killing of scores of relief personnel Monday morning and hijacking of the 6-ship aid flotilla to Israel ports.

The flotilla is carrying 10,000 tons of relief aid for Gaza’s besieged 1.5 million Palestinian people, and was attacked and hijacked by the Zionists in international waters some 150 km from Gaza.

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in his remarks today said the Zionist attack on the Freedom Flotilla was not any flexing of military muscle, as some might misconstrue, but an obvious sign of weakness of the fast disintegrating entity called Israel.

He said Israel was “planted on Palestinian soil with the aim of dominating not just the Middle East but also the entire world.”

Dr. Ahmadinejad calling for international efforts to salvage the Zionist-usurped nation of Palestine, said: “Support for the people of Palestine means support for peace and freedom of every nation.”
