Saudi Political Prisoner Died due to 3rd Degree Torture in Jail


JNN 31 May 2012 Riyadh : The Saudi Arabian citizen ” Khalid Mohammad al Ghamidi “, died in Thahban Prison, allegedly as a result of severe torture.

Al-Ghamidi was reportedly arrested in 2006 and detained for more than six years without charge or trial.

The Prison administration has not informed his father into the cause of al-Ghamidi’s death. His father has been called to collect his body.

One of his relatives confirmed on a facebook site that al-Ghamidi died in circumstances that suggest that torture may have been a contributory factor
