Concurrently the “Mecca Defense Alliance” activated mutual defense protocols. Meanwhile, Iran claimed US forces retreated over 1,000 kilometers from its borders, due to the authority of the IRGC Ground Force, strict control over the strategic Strait of Hormuz.
