Govt responsible for Pakistani GAZA ,Terrorists still siege Kurram Agency after 4 years


JNN 16 Jan 2011 PARACHINAR: Armed militants snatched a vehicle carrying 7,000 chickens after manhandling the driver and his helper in the Bagan Parao area in lower tehsil of Kurram Agency on Sunday, local sources said.

The sources said the poultry was being shifted from Peshawar to Parachinar, the headquarters of Kurram Agency, when the armed Terrorists intercepted and snatched the vehicle at gunpoint.

The sources added the heavily armed terrorists manhandled the driver and his co-worker and forced them to go away. Earlier on January 4, the terrorists attacked a convoy escorted by the security forces and burnt 22 loaded trucks.

Travel on the Thall-Partachinar Road has been risky for the last more than three years due to presence of terrorists operating in the area. The terrorists have been abducting Shia people for ransom and even killing them. The government has been unsuccessful in opening the road for Shia passengers as even convoys escorted by the security forces have been attacked.

As Parachinar is the only Shia Majority area in the tribal Belt , which comes under FATA, and is on the border of Afghanistan , while the residents of Parachinar are under heavy threat , as they are fighting for their survival for the last 4 years ,2,000 people had lost their lives in Kurram Agency since 2007, while numerous others suffered immense financial losses,  as the road connecting the Kurrum Agency , the capital of which is Parachinar , and the road Linking Parachinar to Pakistan  is being under control of the terrorists , which on the orders of their foriegn masters , trying to give it a sectarian look , while these terrorist Killing and abducting Shia citizens of Parachinar .

Government should pay attention to the people of Parachinar who are facing shortage of food, medicine and other necessities of life, for which government should  provide compensation to the Shia  tribesmen for the huge losses incurred by them because of  terrorism.
