MWM Staged a Protest against the Rangers for Killing the Innocent Shia Youth


JNN 26.09.10 Karachi : Majlis Wehdat Muslimeen (MWM) leaders on Friday condemned the Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik and biased Rangers officials who were responsible for the killing of three innocent Shia Youth

Addressing the Central protest demonstration held at Abul Hassan Isphani Road after the Friday prayer to condemn the killing of three innocent participants of funeral prayer of Shaheed Tanveer Abbas, MWM Karachi Secretary General Mohammad Mehdi, Allama Salman  Hussaini, and Agha Mubashir demanded that  the authorities concern must take stern action against these Rangers personnel , while the culprits should be brought to the book and they should be court martial for their  killing of three innocent Shia youth.

They said that Sachal Rangers wing 83 personnel have killed  these three innocent Shia men at Liaquatabad, when they were  returning  after the burial of Shaheed Tanveer Abbas from Wadi e Hussain Graveyard in a convoy.

They further added that more than 500 people of Karachi have lost their lives in different incidents of target killing since the federal government has given the special powers to Rangers for maintaining law and order situation, which speaks for itself, as who is maintaining the law and due to whom law Order situation has been created.

MWM Leaders pointed out the killing of three innocent youths by the Rangers have exposed the real face of Rangers and demanded the authorities concern to immediately register the FIR against Colonel Chachar, Colonel Sohail and DSR Sachal Rangers Fayyaz Khan over their allegedly involvement in the killing of innocent people.

They also demanded the government to immediately grant the financial compensation for the families of the victims.

However, according to the press release, MWM has organized the demonstrations at Shah Faisal Colony, Steel Town, Landhi and Orangi Town beside the Friday prayer leaders of the various mosques of the metropolis in their sermons condemned the brutal acts of Rangers.
