5 low intensity explosions hit Lahore again


JNN 22.05.10 LAHORE: Five low intensity bomb explosions hit Pakistan’s cultural capital Lahore late Friday but caused no casualties, police said.

“These were low-intensity bomb blasts. Nobody has been hurt, we have surrounded the area,” Shafiq Gujar, a senior police officer told AFP by telephone.

“The blasts occurred seconds a part. These were just to create panic,” he said and added that a small amount of local made explosive were used in these bombs.
