In the third month of war, the Shia of Saada take over two important military bases in northern Yemen while the Yemeni army was forced to retreat.
Al-Houthi soldiers took over the bases Shawabah Barakan and Bayn al-Hiyaf in the Razukh district of Saada. Shawabah is located on the highest peak of the city al-Nazir where tens of thousands of Yemenis and thousands of people who have become homeless due to the war live. The Bayn al-Hiyaf base is located in the lowest part of the city which is considered a safe place in Saada.
The Al-Houthi movement announced that it took many weapons from these bases and that the mission could not have been successful without the cooperation of the citizens of Yemen.
