ISIS Takfiri Terrorists Destroyed Graves of the Prophets , Sufi Shrines and Mosques Revered by Both Sunni and Shia Iraqis
JNN 12 July 2014 Baghdad : ISIS Takfiri Terrorist who overran Mosul last month have demolished ancient shrines and Graves of the Prophets revered By Iraqi Sunni and Mosques Used by the Iraqi Shia in and around the historic northern Iraqi city, residents and social media posts said Saturday.
At least two Graves of the Prophets of Islam , four shrines to Sunni Arab or Sufi figures have been demolished, while six Shiite mosques, or Husseiniyahs ( Imambargah ) , have also been destroyed, across militant-held parts of northern Nineveh province, of which Mosul is the capital.
Pictures posted on the Internet by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) showed the Sunni and Sufi shrines were demolished by bulldozers, while the Shiite mosques and shrines were all destroyed by explosives.
The photographs were part of an online statement titled “Demolishing shrines and idols in the state of Nineveh.”
Takfiri terrorists of so-called Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) has destroyed the grave of Prophet Younus ‘Jonah’ (P.B.U.H) after getting control of some parts of Mosul Iraq.
Local residents confirmed that the buildings had been destroyed and that terrorists had occupied two cathedrals as well.
“We feel very sad for the demolition of these shrines, which we inherited from our fathers and grandfathers,” said Ahmed, a 51-year-old resident of Mosul.
“They are landmarks in the city.”
An employee at Mosul’s Chaldean cathedral said terrorists had occupied both it and the Syrian Orthodox cathedral in the city after finding them empty.
They removed the crosses at the front of the buildings and replaced them with the Islamic State’s black flag, the employee said.
Christians are also worried about their holy places as the ISIS insurgents destroyed the statue of the virtuous Miriam in the churches.
In Iraq, there are nearly 12 ancient archaeological sites and Nineveh province has lots of archaeological landmarks, temples and other historical sites. One of the most famous is a shrine for Prophet Yunus (Jonah).
ISIS-led terrorists overran Mosul last month and swiftly took control of much of the rest of Nineveh, as well as parts of four other provinces north and west of Baghdad, in an offensive that has displaced hundreds of thousands and alarmed the international community.
But the Latest Scenario is that the Iraqi Forces and the Iraqi Volunteers have Jointly started an Operation Clean up in the Different Provinces and Districts and One By One they are re captured by them , and the ISIS terrorists are on the Run , even the Leader of the ISIS Abu Bakar has been severely injured in an attack by the Iraqi Air force Raid , and since then is on the Run , and there are very strong chances that he may not survive the injuries , and May succumb to his injuries.
The city, home to two million residents before the offensive, was a Middle East trading hub for centuries, its name translating loosely as “the junction.”
Though more recently populated mostly by Sunni Arabs, Mosul and Nineveh were also home to many Shiite Arabs as well as ethnic and religious minorities such as Kurds, Turkmen, Yazidis and other sects.

Secret UK , US Plan to ‘train 100,000 Syrian Militants to Topple Asad’s Govt Exposed
JNN 04 July 2014 London : A plan to train and equip a 100,000-strong Terrorist Force to defeat Syrian President Bashar al-Assad was drawn up by Britain, then scrapped as it was deemed too risky, BBC Newsnight reported on Thursday.
The alleged proposal, put forward two years ago, was the idea of General David Richards, then chief of Britain’s defense, according to the BBC.
The secret “extract, equip, train” militants at bases across Turkey and Jordan proposal was considered by Prime Minister David Cameron and the National Security Council, as well as U.S. officials, the BBC said, citing Whitehall sources.
As part of Richards’ proposal, the “substantial army” of moderate Syrian rebels would have been trained at bases in Turkey and Jordan.
Sources have also revealed that US military instructors trained Takfiri terrorists of the so-called Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) at a secret base in Jordan in 2012. At least one of the ISIL training camps is in the vicinity of Turkish air base, Incirlik, which houses American personnel and equipment.
The United Nations says some 10.8 million people in Syria need assistance, of which 4.7 million are in hard-to-reach areas, while another three million have fled during the three-year uprising against Assad.
Some believe the opportunity to carry out such an initiative has been missed.
Professor Michael Clarke, of the Royal United Services Institute think tank, told the BBC: “We have missed the opportunity to train an anti-Assad force that would have real influence in Syria when he is removed, as he will be.
“I think there was an opportunity two or three years ago to have become involved in a reasonably positive way, but it was dangerous and swimming against the broader tide of history… and the costs and the uncertainties were very high.”
Some 400 British nationals are thought to be fighting in Syria, in what could constitute a crime under UK terrorism legislation.
And as a Backlash of such Plans and training now the Fears are growing that European militants trained and hardened in Syria may carry out terrorist attacks once they return home.
The West and its regional allies, including Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey are giving financial and military support to the militants.

Baghdad Receives first Batch of Russian fighter Jets & Helicopters to Use against the ISIL terrorists , Tikrit Liberated
JNN 30 June 2014 Baghdad : The first delivery of Russian Sukhoi fighter jets arrived in Iraq on Saturday, the country’s Defense Ministry said. Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki is hoping the jets will make a key difference in the fight against ISIS.
The Iraqi Ministry of Defense on Sunday confirmed receiving five Su-25 fighter jets in accordance with the deal with Moscow. The jets were delivered by a Russian An-124 transport plane in a dismantled state, and are expected to be set up and become operational within 3-4 days.
“The Sukhoi Su-25 is an air-ground support and anti-terrorism mission aircraft. In these difficult times, we are in great need of such aircraft. With God’s help, we will be able to deploy them to support our ground forces on a mission against the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant terrorists within the next 3-4 days,” Iraqi Army Lieutenant General Anwar Hamad Amen Ahmed told Ruptly news agency at an airport receiving the jets.
According to Ahmed, Iraq will wage a “massive attack” on insurgents with the help of the jets.
“We have experienced pilots and other professionals. Our Russian friends have also sent their own experts to assist us in preparing the aircraft. All the logistics have been planned for as well,” the lieutenant general said.
Earlier, Iraqi MP Abbas al-Bayati was quoted as saying by local media that ten Russian jets have been delivered, with Iraqi media identifying them as Su-24s. However, the conflicting information has not been confirmed by other sources.
The fighter jets will be stationed at an airbase located in the southern part of the country, PressTV reported, citing military sources.
Earlier this week, Prime Minister Nouri Maliki revealed that Iraq purchased jets from Russia and Belarus in order to help its fight against Wahabi terrorists from the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIS/ISIL).
At the same time, Maliki criticized the US for taking too long to deliver on its own contract after Iraq purchased F-16 jets from America.
On Friday, Iraqi Air Force Commander Hameed al-Maliki confirmed the shipment of MI-35 and MI-28 Russian helicopter fighters to “keep the momentum” in the attacks against ISIS, Ruptly reported.
The commander said that he signed three contracts with the Russians and stressed the importance of the choppers as “excellent anti-terrorism weapons.”
The United Nations says more than 1,000 people – mainly civilians – have been killed during the surge thus far.
Tikrit Liberated from the ISIL Terrorists
Iraqi army troops have retaken full control of northern city of Tikrit from the so-called Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) terrorist group.
Security sources say military forces, backed by thousands of tribal and volunteer fighters, managed to retake control of the volatile city from the al-Qaeda-linked militants on Saturday
This comes after army forces attacked the positions of the Takfiri militants from four different directions.
The latest development could facilitate the Iraqi army’s advance toward Baiji and Mosul.
Meanwhile, an unspecified number of militants were killed and at least 20 vehicles belonging to the terrorists destroyed during the latest round of operations near the city of Samarra.
In another development, the ISIL militants overrunning northern Iraq have kidnapped dozens of Shia civilians and destroyed two Husainiyah ( Imambargah ) in their Occupied areas .
Human Rights Watch (HRW) says the Takfiri militants attacked two villages near the city of Mosul and ordered its residents to leave their homes before taking away at least 40 men.
Soldiers of the Iraqi army have been engaged in heavy fighting with the militants in different fronts and have so far been able to push back militants in several areas.
The Iraqi army began its clean-up operations from the capital Baghdad a few days ago. The army troops have managed to retake several areas from the terrorists, killing dozens of them over the past few days.

Saudi Suicide Bomber Detonates to escape arrest in a Beirut Hotel
JNN 26 June 2014 Beirut : About a dozen people, including three members of security forces, have been injured in a bomb attack at a hotel in the Lebanese capital.
A suicide bomber who blew himself up at a Beirut hotel and his accomplice, who survived the blast, are citizens of Saudi Arabia, Lebanese officials said Thursday.
The bomber detonated his explosives at Beirut’s Duroy Hotel during a security raid on Wednesday evening, and died in the blast. Another man was wounded and was being questioned by security agents at a Beirut hospital.
A security and a judicial official told The Associated Press that a preliminary probe shows the two attackers entered Lebanon with Saudi passports on June 11, and had paid for bookings in two other hotels besides the Duroy.
The two officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not allowed to talk to the media during an ongoing investigation. Security forces are pursuing other suspects and on Thursday, special forces in bullet-proof vests and accompanied by police dogs raided at least one hotel in Beirut.
The two had taken refuge in Duroy Hotel near the Saudi Embassy in the Raouche neighborhood of Beirut when Lebanese security agents raided the hotel after receiving intelligence of their stay there, security sources said.
“This was a pre-emptive strike by General Security,” Interior Minister Nouhad Machnouk said, adding that the two Saudi nationals “were supposed to carry out an attack in another location.”
Machnouk also said that it was not the first time that security forces have prevented bombers from reaching their targets.
The attack came a day after a car bombing in a southern neighborhood of Beirut killed a security officer and injured at least 20 people.
Lebanon has been suffering from terrorist attacks by al-Qaeda-linked militants as well as random rocket attacks, which are viewed as a spillover of the conflict in Syria.
The Lebanese Red Cross said 11 other people were wounded in the hotel explosion.
It was the third suicide bombing in Lebanon in less than a week and sparked fears of renewed violence in a country that has been deeply affected by the civil war in neighboring Syria.
On Monday, a suicide bomber blew himself up near a checkpoint outside a cafe just after midnight in a primarily Shiite neighborhood where the militant Hezbollah group has a strong presence. The bombing killed one person and wounded 20.
An al-Qaida-linked group, the Abdullah Azzam Brigades, has warned that such attacks will continue as long as Hezbollah takes part in Syria’s civil war alongside President Bashar Assad’s troops.
Syria’s civil war has spilled into neighboring Lebanon on numerous occasions. A series of car bombs have struck Shiite areas across Lebanon, killing dozens of people.
The string of security incidents over the past week has rattled Lebanon, and Beirut in particular, after what had been a calm and stable stretch of several months.
Another bombing in eastern Lebanon last week killed a police officer and wounded several others.
The bombings, coupled with the detention last Friday in Beirut of people accused of being part of alleged Wahabi Terrorist sleeper cells, has given rise to concerns that Lebanon could see a new wave of violence linked to the Syrian conflict.
