'WikiLeaks another 9/11 of the Media , It only benefited Israel'

JNN 02 Dec 2010  : WikiLeaks is another drama Just like 9/11, which is again Played at the cost of Americans ,firstly it was at the cost of Human Lives ,and now at the cost of  Diplomatic Documents , which is organised by Mossad, and the best beneficiary of it is even the Israeli Government .

As now even the governments involved in it are the ones at the hit list of the Mossad .

If this would have been real leaks , American Govt would have up till now have there stance to attack that country , but as this time they cant afford to have another war front , so therefore this Documents Leak have to be from a person and country , which have to be Non Muslim , and from the Person and country which is an Ally , as they dont want to attack that country as this is in the game Plan .

The Documents and evidences are just what they want to be released so they can move ahead with there future planning of  this region. There had been no Wikileaks about there allies or there Diplomatic Missions . And it is there Media and there allies in the Media World whether Home or Abroad that they are Propagating these Bogus Documents so much that they looks real revelations to the common Man of this region and specially the Innocent American Citizens, which are being Played in the hands of Israeli Mosad, which is doing everything just at the cost of American Tax Payers .

Just the Language of the Documents shows that who has orchestrated this drama of leaks , which has been not planned in a day , while as per the finding of this corespondent The Wikileaks is not just a day’s affair or some amateur’s Hacking story , As if it would really be a hacking story of Any body  up till this time US Govt. Should have taken some serious steps , while they would not have been trying it to publicizing it more by giving it a full protocol even by commenting and calling the concerned persons , so it should be in the Headlines of that country , so who dont know should even know , about the biggest failure of the US Govt Machinery , as was in the case of 9/11 , where about 5 planes at the same time broke the rules , routes and ditched the best equipped Intelligence Network of the world and succeeded in hitting at there proposed targets. But as now the World is quite aware of the facts and figures , and the tactics they use to hood wink the whole of the world.

Another fact to be noted is that there is no revelations about the Best Ally of US i.e Israel , as the same was the case with the 9/11 drama, where thousand of American citizen died , but None of the Zionist Clan Jew  Died.

Israel, as opposed to others in the Middle East, has benefited from the alleged US documents, released by whistle blower website WikiLeaks, Turkey says.

“It seems to us that the country which … is not mentioned much, especially in the Middle East, or which this development seems to favor is Israel,” AFP quoted Turkey’s Interior Minister Besir Atalay as saying on Thursday.

The website has released thousands of reported United States diplomatic cables, leveling insult against some world statesmen, including Turkey’s Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

“This is how we see it in a way when we look in the context of who is benefitting and who is being harmed,” Atalay said.

The releases have said that the respected Turkish leader lacks “vision” and “analytic depth” and reads “minimally.”

The premier has said that the credibility of the website itself is “questionable,” DPA reported.

English-language Turkish newspaper Today’s Zaman has said that the documents, which have been reported by US and European news outlets, provided “often unflattering assessments” of foreign leaders.

Voicing doubt over the documents, Erdogan said, “That’s why we’re waiting to see what comes from WikiLeaks. Then we can evaluate it and give an opinion.”

“One should analyze why this happened, who did it and why, who is benefitting and who is being harmed,” said Atalay, who has ordered an investigation into the expositions.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has also expressed doubt about the recently released documents, obtained and published by the WikiLeaks website, saying the US administration “released” the material intentionally.

“The material was not leaked, but rather released in an organized way,” he said in reply to a question by a Press TV correspondent on Monday.

“The countries in the region are like friends and brothers, and these malicious acts will not affect their relations,” the Iranian president added

The alleged disclosure of classified documents on Iran by the whistleblower site of WikiLeaks indicates that the US is afraid of Tehran’s power and might and is seriously seeking to sow discord between Tehran and Muslim states, a senior Pakistani politician said.

“The reports by the WikiLeaks fully display that the US is fearful of Iran,” Former chief of Pakistan’s Jamaat-e-Islami and Head of the country’s Majlis-e-Amal Qazi Hussain Ahmad said on Saturday.

Also a former Pakistani army commander said on Tuesday that the disclosure of classified documents by the whistleblower site of WikiLeaks is a US plot to create rift among friendly and neighboring states.

“The US has a hand in this plot, and these reports (posted by the WikiLeaks website) are part of the US psychological warfare,” former Chief of the Staff of the Pakistani Army General Mirza Aslam Beg said.

Silent coup underway in Riyadh?

JNN 29 Nov 2010 : Arab experts have discussed the possibility of a silent coup in Saudi Arabia as the power struggle hikes in the kingdom after ailing King Abdullah’s trip to the US.

A seminar recently held in Cairo focused on the political future of Saudi Arabia in the absence of King Abdullah’s trip to the US for treatment and the prospects of his possible death.

The meeting, “The Future of Political Conflict among the Heirs in Saudi Arabia,” attended by Arab experts and politicians, including Saudi academics and Egypt’s al-Azhar scholars concluded that there was a fight over the throne among Al Saud heirs.

The conflict they said was being covertly fueled and steered by the US and Israel who see the oil-rich Arab kingdom an issue of mutual concern and consider it to be the primary strategic ally in the Middle East against the forces of resistance.

The experts noted that documents and information available indicate that the conflict is going in two directions: First among the sons of King Abdul Aziz and the second among his grandchildren.

In the first group are the remainder of the Al Sudairy Clan — seven sons of King Ibn Saud and Princess Hassa bint Ahmad Al Sudairy — most notably Defense Minister Prince Sultan, Riyadh’s Governor Prince Salman and Interior Minister Prince Nayef, who is largely backed by hardline Wahhabis.

The second the experts said is among the grandchildren of Abdul Aziz ibn Saud, and most notably Khaled bin Sultan, who effectively runs the defense ministry and Mutaib bin Abdullah who is in charge of the Saudi National Guard.

Among the second group is Bandar bin Sultan, widely seen as closely tied with US intelligence services and his return to the kingdom after a one-year absence is not deemed much of a coincidence.

Given the old age and diminishing health of King Abdullah and his brothers, the conflict between Bandar and Mutaib is the only serious power struggle which might amount to war, the meeting concluded. They noted that Washington is seeking to arrange a peaceful power transition, although Bandar’s rule would better serve its interests.

The participants in the seminar cautioned against changes in the Saudi government that might further reinforce Wahhabi extremists in the kingdom, bring closer cooperation between Riyadh and Washington and even lead to normalization of ties Tel Aviv.

They also demanded the independence of the holy Muslim sites from the dominance of the Al Saud royal family and Wahhabis, and called for the supervision of independent Muslim nations and scholars instead.

'Firm sold Israel torture instruments'

JNN 28 Nov 2010 : A Danish-British security company has sold torture instruments to the Israeli prisons, holding Palestinians inmates, a Danish newspaper has written.

The firm, named G4s, sells the devices to the detention facilities in the occupied West Bank, which provide the necessary means for torture of the Palestinian prisoners, Berlingske Tidende reported

Merav Amir, from Who Profits?, an Israeli organization which is dedicated to expose those who stand to benefit from the occupation, said it knew that the firm did not directly engage itself in torture, has created the circumstances required for the abuse.

There are around 9,000 Palestinians in Israeli detention. The families have for long been calling on human rights organizations and groups to intervene in order to secure the release of their loved ones, many of whom have been incarcerated without charge, trial and sentence.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Detainees, nearly 200 Palestinian inmates have so far died in Israeli confinement, either due to medical negligence or under torture.

The daily also exposed that the company also cooperates with armed Jewish settlers in Israel and sells tools and devices to the Israeli checkpoints.

The revelation came despite the human rights organizations’ insistence that the checkpoints — which dot the occupied lands — breach the Palestinians freedom of movement. It also defied the firm’s 2002 announcement that it would leave the West Bank in order not to cooperate with armed Israeli guards.

African top Shia clerics speeches on the occasion of Eid e Ghadeer in Negeria

JNN 28 Nov 2010 The leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria Sheikh Sayyid Ibraheem Zakzaky delivered a lengthy speech on the significance of Eid Ghadeer at the Movement’s proposed Center on the 18th dhul hajj 1431 (24/11/10).

He  started by congratulating the gathering on the occasion of ghadeer. He recounted the history of Ghadeer event; he said that many books were written by Scholars about it. The book popularly known as Al-ghadeer by Allamah Amini contains much detail and in it it was reported that  there were  over110 companions who reported the Sayings of the prophet (SAWA)  on Ghadeer, of course,  there are reports from other sources.

The Sheikh further says that Ghadeer khum is named after a pool or swamp which formed a shallow lake, located along Madina-Sham route. The place is well known amongst Arabs as it was the crossroads of trade and pilgrimage caravans coming from Medina, Egypt, Iraq and Syria on their way to Makkah.

After performing Hajjj rites, the Prophet ordered that all pilgrims should wait at ghadeer and even those who already passed the area should be called back. A pulpit was erected using saddles and the Prophet delivered a lengthy speech to the companions.

Sheikh Zakzaky stressed that the revisiting the history of Ghadeer is important for the fact that the event still remains unknown to many or it has been forgotten.

He highlighted on how the holy Prophet  taught the Ummah Islamic tenets , he said the Quran was revealed to the prophet  during his  life time in Makkah and Madinat- Makkan Surahs are basically on Tawheed (oneness of God) and the Madinites surahs explain rites and rulings. Two things were left until  towards the end of Prophet’s life; they are the annual pilgrimage to Makkah and the successor after him ( Imamate of the Twelve Infallible Imams). Though the hajj was known since the time of Prophet Ibraheem (AS) and was practiced by jahiliyyah Arabs in their own distorted way, the prophet  had to teach the Ummah how to perform Hajj. So, he ordered all Muslims with means to accompany him for hajj.

The Prophet himself with some members of his family members and companions proceeded for hajj, and Imam Ali too who was on a mission in Yemen, was informed to go for hajj through a messenger, and proceeded to Hajj with Muslims too.

Upon arrival in Makkah, one important event  occurred-  a beggar asked for a help inside the Ka’aba while imam Ali was bowed  for Ruku’ in prayer. Every one noticed when Imam Ali (AS) streached out his hand indicating the beggar to take the ring on one of the Imam’s  fingers. The beggar took the ring. Whereupon a verse was revealed “ Your Master is Allah and His Messenger and those who believe, those who keep up prayers and pay zakat even as they bow down” (Qur’an, 5:55),” qualifying Imam Ali ibn Abu Talib (AS)

Meanwhile the holy  prophet supplicated to God to have a successor similar to the supplication of Musa(AS) at which God answered Musa and appointed Harun as his Successor. Similar request was made by the holy Prophet to God and Allah granted the request by appointing Imam Ali as his successor just as revealed in verse.

Although the holy prophet did not declare Imam Ali publicly at Ka’aba but he intended to do so at Arafat and upon understanding  his intention some companions were not happy as their looks showed. This is because they knew what he was going to say- appointment of Imam Ali as his successor. Even at Arafat the prophet did not declare his successor for the fear of fitnah. He even explained that he was facing a serious opposition stiffer that the opposition he encountered from Quraish at the beginning of his mission.

Lastly a verse was revealed telling the Prophet to declare his heir and was assured God’s protection. O Messenger! Convey what has been revealed to you, and if you do not do so, you will not have conveyed His Message at all, and Allah shall protect you from (evil) people. (Qur’an, 5:67)

So at the pool of Ghadeer where the holy prophet ordered all Muslims to wait, the holy Prophet climbed the pulpit erected and delivered a lengthy sermon where in it he outlined the many virtues of Imam Ali and Ahlul bayt(AS) and  raised Imam Ali’s hand up while declaring  ‘Whoever among Im his master, this, Ali is his master …………” the Prophet further  explained all  his successors , all from the progeny of Ali(AS), one after upto the last one- Imam Mahdi(AJ).

All the companions swore oath of  allegiance to Imam Ali and congratulated him while the holy Propeht was a witness to it. It took over two days for the almost 120,000 companions, including women, to pay allegiance to Imam Ali(AS).

The Prophet recited the following verse  “Whoever reneges (from his oath), he reneges only to the harm of his own soul, and whoever fulfills what he has covenanted with Allah, He will grant him a mighty reward” (Qur’an, 48:10).

The 18th of dhul hajj is known to all Prophets and messengers (AS) for its merits: it was the day Adam’s repentance was accepted by God; it was the day Musa(AS) won over the magicians, it was also the day Musa appointed his successor after him; the day Prophet Isa(AS) appointed Sham’un; the day Sulaiman(AS) appointed Asiba as his heir and it was on the day Nuhu’s ark settled on Judi Mountain.

Sheikh further expressed that Islam becomes complete with wilayah of holy Imams without which it becomes incomplete.

Another merit is that it was on the day the holy Prophet (AS) made tie of brotherhood between Ansar and Muhajirin upon arrival in Medina. on the same 18th of Dhul Hajj, 35 years After Hijrah, the Muslims rallied around behind Imam Ali to  pay  him allegiance after the death of Uthman bn Affan. Imam agreed to accept the allegiance but in the Mosque which he did.

The Leader of the Islamic Movement explained further that there are many issues to be said but due to limited time, they could not be discussed. He however explained that in due course and at appropriate time he would discuss the issues.

He recited Ziyara of Imam Ali after the sunset prayers and gave closing prayers. The programme was attended by thousands of Muslims

17 Shia Huthi Killed By Car Bomb in Northern Yemen

JNN 26 Nov 2010 : At least 17 Huthi fighters have lost their lives and 30 others sustained injuries when a car bomb targeted a religious procession in northern Yemen.

The exact location of the attack is still not known.

The incident took place only one day after an army soldier was killed and two others were injured when a roadside bomb targeted their military vehicle south of the country.

The Yemeni government launched Operation Scorched Earth on August 11, 2007 to uproot the Shia Houthi fighters, whom Sana’a accuses of seeking a return to the Zaydi imamate overthrown in a 1962 coup.

The northern Houthi fighters have on occasions complained about widespread religious discrimination against them by Sunni fundamentalists who hold sway because of President Ali Abdullah Saleh’s cordial relations with staunchly Wahabi Saudi Arabia.

Saada and neighboring Amran province, the strongholds of the Shia Houthi fighters, were frequently pounded by fighter jets and helicopter gunships.

The conflict zones in northern Yemen remained cut off from the rest of the country and the locals were grappling with a pressing shortage of food and other basic supplies.

The United Nations puts the number of displaced people at around 150,000 civilians.

Bahrain resumes trial of 23 activists

JNN 26 Nov 2010 Bahrain has resumed the third trial session of the 23 opposition activists detained on charges of forming an illegal organization and plotting to overthrow the government.

The third session had been adjourned to investigate fresh allegations of torture made by some of the detainees. They also claimed they had been forced to sign confessions at the prosecutor’s office.

The defendants had complained about being beaten in prison, deprived of sleep and forced to remain standing for long periods of time following the first session of their trial on October 28.

A member of the Bahrain Center for Human Rights, Maryam al-Khawaja, told Press TV on Friday that Thursday’s trial lasted for about 45 minutes. The lawyers requested that the trial be halted until torture allegations are looked into.

“One of the detainees, Sheikh Muhammad Habib al-Moqdad, spoke about torture, electric shocks that he and Dr. Abdel-Jalil al-Singace – a leading member of the opposition political group al-Haq – were both subjected to. He even exposed the name of the police officer who carried out the tortures,” she added.

“The judge basically did not respond to the request of the lawyers and he adjourned the trial until December 9,” Khawaja said.

Meanwhile, the Amnesty International has called on the Bahraini authorities to inspect new claims of mistreatment made by some of the detained opposition activists.

“The Bahraini authorities must conduct a prompt and independent investigation into both these allegations of torture,” said Malcolm Smart, director of Amnesty International’s Middle East and North Africa Program.

“They must also now take steps to protect the 23 defendants from possible further retaliation, following their new allegations.”

All the 23 men are charged with “forming an illegal organization” aiming to “overthrow the government and dissolve the constitution”, inciting people to “overthrow and change the political system of the country”, fundraising and planning terrorist acts, and other offences under Bahrain’s 2006 anti-terrorism law. They all deny the charges.

The detained opposition activists have had very little access to their lawyers. They were only allowed to see the defendants when they were brought before the Public Prosecutor about two weeks after their arrest and again during the first trial session.

Some of the defendants alleged that they were subjected to further torture or other ill-treatment after the court’s first session, their attorney said after the second session of the court on November 11

‘Israel aided US-backed Hariri tribunal’

JNN 26 Nov 2010 Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman says Tel Aviv has contributed to a US-sponsored tribunal probing the murder of former Lebanese Premier Rafiq Hariri, a report says.

Lieberman has recently acknowledged Israel’s “cooperation” with Hariri’s tribunal, also known as the US-backed Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL), and said that Tel Aviv has been transparent and open to the investigation, Lebanon’s al-Akhbar newspaper reported Friday.

Hariri was killed alongside more than 20 other people in a massive car bombing in the Lebanese capital of Beirut on February 14, 2005.

The US-sponsored STL was subsequently set up by the UN and the Lebanese government in May 2007 to investigate the murder. The court is expected to announce its findings by the end of 2010.

Meanwhile, the Israeli foreign minister accused Lebanon’s resistance movement of Hezbollah of trying to undermine the tribunal.

The accusation has been made despite Secretary General of Hezbollah Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah’s repeated rejection of the allegations and warnings against Isreali plots.

In an August speech, the resistance leader presented evidence proving that Israel masterminded the assassination. In his televised address Nasrallah presented footage captured by Israeli unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), as well as recorded confessions by Israeli fifth columnists, substantiating that Tel Aviv had been behind the killing.

Nasrallah also pointed out that the investigators had been infiltrating deep into Lebanon and channeling date outwards even before the tribunal took its current form.

‘Bahraini children tortured by govt.’

BJNN 23 Nov 2010 The Bahrain Center for Human Rights says that children were among the victims of the latest crackdown on pro-democracy activists in the Persian Gulf state.

The rights body said in a report on Tuesday that there were 76 children among the detainees from the latest crackdown, accounting for one fifth of the total number of 355.

According to the report, children have been subjected to arbitrary arrests, continuous kidnappings as well as physical, psychological and sexual torture.

The report raises concerns about the future of the children prisoners who will be deprived of their education.

In Bahrain, people over 21 years are eligible to participate in the election, but the authorities hold children, who have reached the age of 15, fully responsible for committing crimes like adults.

The Bahraini government has begun a crackdown on Shia people, which dominate the country’s demographic map.

The Shias have long complained about being discriminated against by the Sunni-dominated government when it comes to employment opportunities and the right to services.

The government has been accused of coming down hard on the Shia opposition and human rights activists.

Chinese Built Light Rails whisks One Million Hajis to Mecca from Mina, Arafat & Muzdalifah

JNN 19 Nov 2010 Mecca : The Mecca Metro in Saudi Arabia has carried more than one million pilgrims during the Hajj pilgrimage, builder of the line China Railway Construction Corporation Limited (CRCC) said Saturday.

During the five-days of activity, the metro ran more than 700 times, said CRCC, which will also run the line for three years.

The Mecca Metro, the first dual-track light railway in Saudi Arabia, began operating on Nov 13, 2010 to ease congestion during pilgrims’ visits to Mecca.

The 18-kilometer-long line with nine stations links Mecca and the holy sites of Mina, Arafat and Muzdalifah. It can carry up to 72,000 passengers in one hour.

The project is expected to operate at 35 percent capacity in the first phase and reach full capacity by May 2011. But it operated at over 50 percent capacity when it began operation.

The US$1.8 billion in line was the first cooperation project between China and Saudi Arabia after the two countries signed an agreement in June 2008 to enhance cooperation in infrastructure construction.

The line was the first light rail system built by Chinese companies in the Middle East.

Egypt slams US for meddling in its internal affairs

JNN 19 Nov 2010 Cairo : Egypt has slammed the US for interfering in its internal affairs after Washington called for international observers to monitor the country’s upcoming parliamentary elections.

In a surprisingly harsh tone, Cairo criticized Washington in a statement on Thursday for meddling in internal affairs of a sovereign nation.

“The latest positions taken by the administration towards internal Egyptian affairs is something that is absolutely unacceptable,” AFP quoted the statement released by the Egyptian foreign ministry on Friday.

“It is as if the United States has turned into a caretaker of how Egyptian society should conduct its own politics,” it argued.

“It seems that the US insists on not respecting the privacy of the Egyptian society and making statements that incense Egypt’s nationalism,” it further added. “Whoever thinks that this is possible is deluded.”

The statement explained that Egypt would continue reciprocal relationship with the United States as long as Washington showed mutual respect for Cairo.

On Monday, the US State Department called on Egypt to hold a free election and allow international monitors to observe the November 28 parliamentary poll.

In response to the Egyptian criticism, US State Department spokesman P.J. Crowley announced that Washington is keeping a close eye on the elections to make sure it meets the international standards.

“This is not interfering in Egyptian affairs. This is encouraging a very close friend of the United States that its elections are vitally important and that its people want to see and have opportunities for greater participation in Egypt’s political system and have a government that is more representative of all segments of Egyptian society,” he added.

Saudi Monarchy crushing Shia Muslim Citizens ,even violating International Human Rights code of Conduct

JNN 18 Nov 2010 : Human rights defender Mr Munir Baqir Ebrahim Al-Jassas, (aged 30), remains in detention at the Intelligence Service Headquarters in Dammam, eastern Saudi Arabia, and as yet has not been informed about whether he has been officially charged or convicted for committing an offence.

Further Information

To date, Munir Al-Jassas has not been informed about any official charges, however, on 28 August 2010, he was asked to sign a “confession”, which was a collection of statements he had made while being interrogated.

On 1 September 2010, he was taken to the lower court in Dammam were he was asked to read the same “confession” and sign it before a religious judge. In the written “confession” Munir Al-Jassas reportedly stated that:

1. I wrote on internet forums using my real name and I am a general instructor for “Tahera” Forums;

2. I wrote a comment on the article, To his Highness the Minister on Al-Awamia website which can be found at: http://awam30.homeip.net/index.php?act=artc&id=9629

3. I noticed an article written by my sister, commented on it, and did not remove it;

4. I read articles by Nemr Baqr Al-Nemr (Shi’a cleric) and commented on some of them;

5. I wrote a comment on an article related to the Emir (the Prince);

6. The Shi’a in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are oppressed;

7. I am seeking a job;

8. The telephone line connected to the internet is in my name;

9.My sister posted an article using my niece’s name. Initially I did not confess to this because I was concerned for the safety of my niece and my sister, who had recently married;

10. I posted a comment on an article related to the arrest of Mohammed the son of Nemr Al- Nemr”

Munir Al-Jassas has reportedly not been told whether this court appearance was part of an investigation or a “trial on camera”. He has not been informed of any trial procedures or any decision with regard to a sentence, nor has he been allowed access to a lawyer.

During his detention Munir Al-Jassas spent four months in solitary confinement. Thereafter, his wife and members of his family were allowed visit him. However, the family were recently informed that under new prison regulations family visitation rights will be subject to restrictions.

His wife and other family members will only be permitted one visit respectively per month. This will hinder his family’s ability to monitor what is happening to Munir. Although prison regulations permit prisoners to send one letter per month, Munir Al-Jassas was reportedly only permitted to send one letter every three or four months.

With regard to prison conditions, Munir Al-Jassas’s prison cell, as well as those of other detainees, are occasionally stormed by security agents wearing a disguise to conceal their identities. During these raids all the detainees are reportedly subjected to severe physical assaults.

Although prison regulations provide that each prisoner will be visited daily by a staff member who will look after individual daily needs, such visits only take place once a month and as such, there is an inadequate amount of time for prisoners to express their needs.

As a result, requests made by Munir Al-Jassas over the last five months, including a request to be transferred to another non-smoking cell, have not been dealt with. As such, Munir continues to suffer headaches because of the smoke. Religious books based on Shi’a beliefs have also been prohibited by prison authorities.

Media & Human Rights groups are  particularly concerned for the physical and psychological integrity of Mr Munir Al-Jassas who is allegedly subjected to frequent beatings and physical abuse while in detention.

Human Rights and Shia population is  seriously concerned that the Saudi Authorities have been holding Mr Munir Al-Jassas for over one year in arbitrary detention and as yet have failed to officially charge, try or convict him. Front Line also condemns the Saudi authorities for denying Mr Munir Al-Jassas access to a lawyer. Holding Mr Munir Al-Jassas in arbitrary detention and denying him legal representation amount to grave breaches of international human rights law.

Israeli official, Dubai police chief meet

JNN : The head of the Israeli police investigations and Dubai police chief Dahi Khalfan have reportedly met after the latter accused Israel of killing a top Hamas commander

Major General Yoav Segalovich met the Dubai police chief in the annual Interpol General Assembly in Qatar last week, Israeli website Ynetnews reported on Monday.

“They were introduced, they shook hands and greeted one another,” an unnamed Israeli police source told Ynetnews.

The source added that there was no apparent tension between the two sides.

In September, Khalfan said he had received death threats from Israel’s spy agency Mossad for uncovering details of the assassination of Hamas commander Mahmoud al-Mabhouh in a Dubai hotel in January.

Khalfan said he had received an email, which read, “Protect your back if you are going to keep your tongue loose.”

The Dubai police chief had also referred to a cautionary phone call “from a retired Mossad agent with Western-Israeli nationality” to one of his relatives, saying, “He asked my relative to advise me to keep silent.”

Shia Muslims in Egypt face ‘Systematic’ Discrimination: Rights Groups

JNN 08.11.10 Egypt’s Emergency State Security Court on Sunday ordered–for the seventh time–the release of an Egyptian Shia Muslim illegally arrested for alleged involvement in planned terrorist activity.

Mohammed Farouk al-Sayed was one of 12 Egyptian Shia Muslims to have been arrested since May of last year. Some of the men were later released, while five currently remain in detention.

When the court previously ruled to release al-Sayed, the Ministry of Interior simply countermanded the order.

Such a policy, read a statement issued on Sunday by the Cairo-based Egyptian Initiative for Personal Rights (EIPR), “reveals the despotic nature of the Ministry of Interior and [the fact] that it’s not subject to the rule of law.”

Apart from its large Christian minority, Egypt is overwhelmingly Sunni Muslim. Some local rights groups claim that non-Sunni Muslims, including Shias, are regularly exposed to systematic intimidation.

According to Adel Ramadan, a lawyer with EIPR, Shia Muslims–Egyptian nationals or otherwise–are subject to “systematic violations by the state.”

Al-Sayed had been one of a group of Shia Muslims who had held regular peaceful meetings. Egypt’s State Security Investigations Service, however, suspected the gatherings were related to terrorism and therefore represented a possible threat to Egyptian national security, Ramadan noted.

“In the arrest memo [issued by the Ministry of Interior], the report must indicate the reason for arrest,” Ramadan said. “In all cases involving Shia Muslims, there’s a reference to ‘terrorist’ operations.”

Crackdowns on Shia Muslims have become commonplace in Egypt–including arrests, detention and lawsuits–in recent years, according to reports by local human rights groups.

Last week, a group of detained Shia Muslims, some of whom were foreign nationals, won a court ruling ordering their release. Nevertheless, several of them still remain in detention.

Israelis Demolished a Mosque in Palestine

JNN 07.11.10 In another direct assault against the country’s Muslim Bedouin-Palestinian community, Israeli police demolished a mosque in the Negev Bedouin city of Rahat during the evening hours of Saturday.

Hundreds of policemen and Israeli Land Administration (ILA) authorities, in addition to tractors and ambulances, descended upon the city and demolished the mosque, citing Israeli police claims that the structure was built illegally.

Hundreds of residents protested the demolition and Israeli police used tear gas to disperse the crowd, detaining five. The Rahat municipality has called for a general strike in wake of the demolition.

“Seeing the mosque being destroyed is infuriating. They would never destroy a synagogue,” said Rahat resident Younes Abu Janem.

According to Mayor Abu Sahiban, the act was a direct offense against all Muslims, and the “police should act responsibly and use its discretion.”

The Bedouin village of El Araqib has suffered repeated harsh blows at the hands of Israeli authorities in the last several months. The Israeli Land Administration (ILA) has destroyed the village six times in the past four months, with police arresting residents. While destructions and constant fear of homelessness has prompted some of the El Araqib villagers to move to Rahat, it now seems Israeli authorities will target them there as well.

The ILA is the government branch responsible for managing 93% of the land in Israel, which the country considers public domain. They have a history of uprooting olive trees in Palestinian villages and trying to plant forests as part of a plan to “green” the Negev, while making the nomadic lifestyle for the Bedouin impossible and pushing them to cities like Rahat, where employment is low and their traditional way of life impossible.

“If they continue to destroy it, we will rebuild the mosque over and over again,” said Yusuf Abu Jama, leader of the northern branch of the Isalmic Movement in Rahat.

“Now we are unified, the northern branch and the southern branch [of the Islamic movement]. Today, Arab people from all over the country will come to show their solidarity.”

Rahat residents began rebuilding the mosque on Sunday, with dozens honoring the site of yesterday’s destruction with worship.

The Oldest Haj Pilgrim for 2010 was Born on 14th Aug 1890

JNN 07.11.10 The Oldest Haj piligrim this year will be Munni Begum who is 120years old as she  was born 14th August  1890 , and is  now a resident of  Jaipur , Rajasthan , India .

Munni Begum is 120 year old and is all set to go for Haj, after special permission as her name didn’t figure in the draw of lots.

The old woman who gave birth to eight sons and daughters, heads a huge family that lives in Kho Nagorian locality of Jaipur.

Family members say that Munni Begum was born in August 1890. She has 52 grandsons and granddaughters apart from 96-odd great grandsons and great granddaughters other than two dozen great-great-grandchildren [and even their kids].

The elderly woman has seen three centuries. And now she is all set for the pilgrimage she has waited for all her life. On Saturday she reached the office of Haj Committee to fill the form. The Central Haj Committee officials from Delhi gave her special permission.

The Rajasthan Haj Welfare Society has requested the Saudia Arabia government that special attention should be paid to her because of Munni Begum’s age.

Munni Begum is perhaps the oldest woman on record to embark for the holy journey. She says that she had the wish to go for Haj ever since she was married in her teenage, and thus her wish is going to be fulfilled after over a century.

The previous world record of the Oldest Haj Piligrim is also with a Jaipuri Rajasthani Man , who Performed his Haj , at the age of 138 years , which shows and proves the tendency of Jaipuri people to live longer , a healthy life .

Earlier, Habib Miyan had gone for Haj at the age of 134. He had suddenly drawn international attention after it was found that he had been drawing pension for over 65 years.

Habib Miyan had retired in 1938. He went for Haj in 2004 when he was 134. Though birth certificates were unknown in the olden days, the bank records proved his age.

As per the pension papers, Habib Miyan was drawing pension since 1938. The documents clearly showed him as born in 1878 and this made him the world’s oldest man alive until his death at the age of 138 in 2008. The bank officers delivered his pension at his home.

Now it’s Munni Begum’s turn though she is not a ‘Munni’ in the literary sense. [Munni means little in Urdu] In India, it was the tradition that mostly older persons went for Haj, after they had fulfilled their worldly responsibilities.

In recent years the pilgrims have begun going at a comparatively younger age, still a large number of Indians who go to Hejaz [Arabia] are over sixty. And Munni Begum clearly beats them as well. One hopes that along with other Hajis, she also manages to perform the Haj and returns safely. Ameen.

Her Date of Birth which is also the Independence day & the Day of the Birth of our Beloved Home land Pakistan , proves that the people and states born on that date are there to live longer even after facing all the difficulties of this world , but finally will achieve there goal of prosperity , and will eventually fulfill all the duties the Almighty have asked them to perform.

God Bless Pakistan

Long Live Pakistan

US opens new war front in the name of Al Qaeda : US ‘deploys Predator drones in Yemen’

JNN 07.11.10 The United States has deployed unmanned Predator drones in Yemen, claiming they are aimed at eradicating al-Qaeda militants, senior US officials say.

The Washington Post reported on Sunday that the drones have been patrolling the Yemeni skies for several months in search of al-Qaeda leaders and operatives allegedly hiding in the country.

The officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity, also said that the drones have not fired missiles yet because they lack solid intelligence on the militants’ whereabouts.

Yemen has shown deep reservations about any possible attacks after a US cruise missile earlier this year killed a government official, stirring anti-American sentiments.

The Yemeni government protested the attack and the people of the Middle Eastern country were outraged by it.

The Sunday’s report also said that the administration of US President Barack Obama planned to double its military aid to Yemen to 250 million dollars for the next year.

The reports come one day after Yemeni Prime Minister Ali Mujawar criticized the West for linking al-Qaeda to his country, accusing Western powers of having helped create the terrorist group.

“Al-Qaeda is mainly a Western-made group,” Mujawar said on Saturday. The militant group “was not created in Yemen at all as it is being alleged by those who propagate this perception internationally about Yemen,” the Yemeni premier added.

Mujawar’s comments hinted at America’s funding of fighters in Afghanistan who were resisting Soviet occupation back in the 1980s.

The White House has stepped up pressure on Sana’a for what it calls al-Qaeda’s use of Yemeni soil as a safe haven for terrorist operations against Washington.
