JNN 27 Feb 2014 Bangkok : A book titled “Seerah and Teachings of Imam Reza (AS)” has been published by Iranian Cultural Center in Thailand.
According to IQNA’s branch in East Asia, the book which is written in Thai language, includes a biography of the eighth infallible Imam (AS) and a summary of papers and speeches presented at the scientific forum of “Imam Reza (AS); Heritage of Ahl-ul-Bayt’s (AS) Teachings” in Thailand.
The 60-page book also covers some 50 sayings and Hadiths of Imam Reza (AS).
The Iranian center plans to present it at the international book fair to be held from March 28 to April 7 in Bangkok.

JNN 23 Feb 2014 Mashad : A prominent Pakistani Sunni scholar Allama Dr.Tahir ul Qadri visited the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (A.S.) in his trip to holy city of Mashhad, Iran.
According to the report issued from Astan Quds Razavi, Allama Muhammad Taher ul-Qadri, asserted that, “At the Razavi Holy Shrine, the heaven is on the earth, and this holy shrine is the most beautiful shrine of Ahl al-Bayt (A.S.) all around the world.”
Tahir ul-Qadri added, “Sunni people have special devotion to Imam Reza (A.S.) and this kind Imam who is from the holy family of the Prophet Muhammad is respectable for all seekers of wisdom and truth.”

Bahrain Consul General at Mumbai booked for assault, molestation of society manager
JNN 25 Dec 2013 Bombay : An FIR was registered against Consul General of Bahrain Mohammed Abdulaziz Al Khaja at the Malabar Hill police station in south Mumbai on December 13, for allegedly assaulting and verbally abusing the manager of his housing society, the police said.
Police sources revealed that Additional Commissioner of Police (South Region) Krishna Prakash has sought Mumbai Police Commissioner Satyapal Singh’s view before proceeding further against Al Khaja.
The case has been registered at the Malabar Hill police station under sections 354 (molestation), 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) and 504 (Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
According to the police, the 49-year-old victim has been working at the society for the past 10 years, while Al Khaja has been living there since the last five years.
The incident, which occurred on December 9, has left the victim shaken. In her complaint she alleged that Al Khaja had lost his temper on December 9 after one of the elevators of the building was shut down for repairs.
“The building is 40 years old and we were installing a new elevator. I kept telling him that technicians were on the job, but he wouldn’t listen. He started to bang on the closed doors of the elevator and then ransacked my office and threw books around. He was so angry that he raised his hand and touched me.
Immediately, I called the security guards and also informed the police. The guards tried to calm him down and said that he couldn’t touch a woman like that. But he used very foul language after that,” the complainant said. While she registered a complaint the same day, the FIR was only registered four days later.
“The police said that they wanted to check if he had diplomatic immunity before charging him. But this is not how a diplomat behaves. Just because he enjoys diplomatic immunity, that doesn’t mean he can do anything he wants,” she said.
She added that Al Khaja had again attempted to create a ruckus on December 20. “The security intervened again. I continue to go to work but have requested the police to provide me security. Two constables and two security guards have now been posted outside my office,” she said. According to the police, Al Khaja had also similarly roughed up members of the society in the past and also staff at the Bahrain Consulate in Cuffe Parade.
