JNN 01 Feb 2013 PESHAWAR: A suicide bomber blew himself up outside a Shia Sect Mosque Faizullah ( Babul Ilm)  in the town of Hangu in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, killing at least 26 people and wounding over 50 others, officials said.

According to police, the bomber detonated his explosives as worshippers poured out after Friday (Jummah) prayers in the crowded Pat Bazaar area. The Suicide Bomber who came on a Motorcycle , detonated himself , when he reached the spot where the People were coming out of  the Faizullah Mosque , after performing the Friday Prayers.

“Most of the dead were coming out of a mosque in the marketplace after Friday prayers when the bomb went off,” a senior police officer said.

District Police officer (DPO) Dr Muhammed Saeed said the bomber blew himself up near one of the mosque’s exits leading to a crowded market.

“It was a suicide attack which targeted Shias but Sunni Muslims also fell victim since their mosque and some shops were also very close to the site,” said Saeed.

“We have found the head of the bomber, who came there on a motorbike,” he added.

Dr Nawab Hussain, a senior official at the District Headquarters Hospital, said more than 50 people had been brought to the hospital out of which 16, who were stated to be in serious condition, were shifted to hospitals in Kohat.

Hussain also confirmed that 22 bodies had been brought to the hospital.

Out of 26 Namazi ( Who were coming out after Performing Jumma Prayers ) Martyred , 17 Martyrs Belong to the Shia Sect , While 7 belong to the Ahle Sunnat Sect , while 2 belonged to the Police force performing their duties at the Market area adjacent the Mosque.

The Collective Funeral Prayers for 9 Martyrs of the Incident will be performed in the Mohallah Paskalay, Hangu.

Hangu, part of Pakistan’s border region with Afghanistan, has been racked by sectarian violence. It is just a few km from Parachinar, which has a significant Shia population.

It is very sad to say that the Interior Minister of Pakistan , had a day earlier even given the News of Attack , based on his Intelligence services Report , due to which Mobile services of Karachi were switched off from 12.00noon till 3.00p.m , but still the Bomber and their handlers achieved in causing the Huge loss of 26 Precious Life , and Now the question is only on the Best Rated Intelligence Services of World , which is ISI, has failed to Nab or even Point out the Terrorist before the Incident , which must have saved the Loss of atleast 26 Precious Lives of Brave Pakistanis .

So now we have to re think or have to check with the Rating companies of the World , who have rated our Intelligence agency , superior  than CIA , and other Intelligence agencies of the World , who are busy in arming the terrorist in Pakistan , while our Intelligence agencies , are either have become impotent , or they have  compromised on the deaths and disaster of Pakistani Innocent People .
