JNN 20 Jan 2013 KARACHI: A district and sessions court acquitted an alleged target killer, Ajmal Pahari, the man accused of more than one hundred counts of manslaughter in the financial hub of Pakistan, was released from Central Jail, Karachi here on Friday, due to insufficient evidence, who have even in his recorded confessional statement have confessed of being involved in the Target Killing , and even in the Ashura Bomb Blast in Karachi.

On Tuesday, Shahnawaz alias Ajmal Pahari, was produced before the additional district and sessions judge, central, Rashida Siddiqui, in a murder case.

The court gave the acquittal orders under the Criminal Procedure Code Section 265-K, in which the charges are groundless and the court decided that the accused cannot be given punishment. The court then acquits the accused to save time.

Pahari was accused in the murder of a man named Junaid Alam Siddiqui alias Ihtisham, son of Rafi Siddiqui, in 2005. Junaid was killed in Jahangirabad, and Pahari and another man, Wasim Boss, were nominated in the FIR (134/2005) lodged at Rizvia police station.

The complainant, who was a witness to the murder, failed to identify Pahari and no other witnesses appeared in court. Since the challan was also submitted after six years, Pahari was acquitted.

Due to security threats, he was brought to the city courts amid strict security with a large number of policemen deployed around the complex.

The Sindh police’s Crime Investigation Department (CID) arrested Pahari from New Karachi on March 28. His name became synonymous with fear not only for his numerous deadly feats, but also recently for extortion and land grabbing in the city. Police officials had kept a tab on his activities for a long time but they admit that he had been set free numerous times because he was strongly backed by political party of Karachi MQM. The arrest became possible after this party “suspended” its support, police say.

This was, however, not the first time that Pahari was arrested. In 1997, an anti-terrorism court had declared Pahari a proclaimed offender (along with a high-profile political leader and founder of a party) in a case related to the killing of four American Union Texas employees along with their Pakistani driver. Back then, the reward for Pahari was Rs1 million and he was nabbed by the Central Investigation Agency of the Karachi police in 2000.

However, within five years, Pahari was acquitted in all cases and was released in 2005. Since then, Anti-Extremism Cell SSP Omar Shahid claims that the suspect has committed 58 more cold-blooded murders. And to add insult to injury, Pahari has also made millions of rupees through his network of target killers and extortionists, the officer added.

The elusive criminal was on the run but was eventually nabbed by the authorities in a joint operation conducted by Shahid and Counter Terrorism Unit SSP Chaudhry Aslam Khan from New Karachi’s Eid Gah ground Sector 5-D in March. When asked whether he was sure Pahari would not walk free again, Shahid had told The JNN that the police had done its job by nabbing the notorious killer and now it was for the investigation officers to build a strong case against the culprit in court. He said it was for the courts to decide the fate of the suspect, who is believed to have committed dozens of murders since his release in 2005.

The petitioner submitted in a petition that he was arrested on March 18, 2011 and implicated in 15 criminal cases. He was later acquitted in 11 cases and granted bail in the remaining four cases.

He pleaded with the court that he was granted bail in four remaining cases, but even after acquittal the police continued to detain him illegally without constituting a Board under Section 5 (9) of Maintenance of Public Ordinance.

It should also be remembered that he is the same Person who have given in his recorded confessional statement ( available on Youtube.com ) that he was trained by the Indian RAW officer in New Delhi , and have been Working for MQM – Altaf , who have even confessed of their involvement in the Ashura Blast in Karachi , But again due to weak Prosecution , which is a Part of the deal between the Ruling Party and the Political Stalwarts , who are so called allies of the Government , and as these men are the bargain for the Government , to give these Political Target Killers as Present to their Leaders.

And this is Not the only case which can be referred , As the same is the case of Malik Ishaq , who is the founder of the Banned Lashkar e Jhangvi , who was even escorted free , and have been acquitted in all the cases against him , and scenario is the same , as he has also given confessional statements , which are even recorded , as he confessed of Killing atleast 70 Shia Men , but still he have been acquitted in all the cases , due to the weak Prosecution , and due to the absence of Witness, as in his case his fellow terrorist have even killed a number of eye witnesses who have come up to record their statements in the court of Law.

While the Role of the Judiciary should also be noted here as the same Judiciary , who take suo Moto actions on TV News articles , and other foreign items , but even on legislation which is done by National assembly and Passed by the Senate  ( Like the Immunity for the PM , CM , and office bearers of the Government or any other ) but which is not favourable for the Judiciary , is always banned and challenged ,by the same Judiciary. And the same Judiciary become Blind , Deaf and Dumb , when such confessional target Killers are Not Prosecuted , and are set free by the same Judiciary , which is called the so called Independent Judiciary , and shows all the strength and Might , But closes their eyes , ears and are unable to utter a single word in such cases .

It should also be noted that there are hundreds of Hard Core Criminals who already been awarded Capital Punishment and which have been endorsed by the Highest Courts of Pakistan  , and there Mercy Applications have even been rejected by the President of Pakistan , but even then their order for execution is delayed on Stay Orders by the President Himself , under the Pressures from the Political Parties , for whom they have been working , and in return as Political bargains between the Government and the Political Parties , which is boosting the Morals of these Criminal Community that till their Political Principals are their to back them , they ll not be Punished .

So if they get a chance they ll be escorted free , as nobody will dare to become a witness , if even Nabbed by the LEA’s , or other wise if they are even prosecuted , and if by any chance they are even sentenced , the sentence will always be with held , under the Pressure of their Political Principals.

So the Blind Justice in Pakistan is Promoting the criminals , while the Innocent Patriotic Pakistanis are being terrorized and Killed by these Hard Core Criminal under the Present Political Leadership of the Country.
