4 Martyred, 25 injured in a Bomb Blast Near Masjid O Imambargah Mustafa , Karachi

KARACHI: 4 Martyred 25 Injured including Two Shia Men Sajid Hussain and Azher Hussain  were Martyred , including five Rangers, sustained injuries in a blast near the Jama Masjid O Imam Bargah Mustafa , Abbas Town area, located near  Abul Hasan Ispahani Road in the Limits of Mubina P.S , Karachi JNN reported on Sunday.

Remote-controlled explosive device was planted on a motorcycle parked by the terrorist of TTP outside a milk shop, adjacent to a electricity pole which was the base of PMT and due to  The subsequent blast the pole led to the power outage in the area. However Now power supply has been restored in certain parts of the area.

The bomb was intended to be placed as much as Possible  near to the Imambargah , but as due to the Security Layers , the Terrorist could not cross the Barricade , and parked it near the shops , in the way to the Imam Bargah .

The Body of the Martyred Azher Hussain & Sajid Hussain was transferred to the Imambargah Shuhuda e Karbala , Sadaat Colony , F.B.Area .

The Funeral Prayer of the Martyred is scheduled to be on Monday , after Zuhrain Prayers at Masjid O Imam Bargah Mustafa , Abbas Town .

The injured in the Bomb Blast include the names of Salman Abbas ,Jaffar Hussain ,Ameer  Ali , Mohsin , Hassan , Tayyaba , Rukhsana Hassan, and two other Ahle Sunnat Brothers Zakir Ali , Irfan Plus 5 Rangers Personnel were also Injured. Who were shifted to different Hospital of Karachi , while emergency was declared in All the Hospital of Karachi.

Anti Extremist Cell (AEC) Chief Aslam Chaudhry, while speaking to JNN, said security was fool proof in the area and will comment after initial investigation. He said police was collecting evidence from the crime scene. Initial investigation revealed that the number plate on the motorcycle was forged.

The security forces have cordoned off the area, while emergency has been declared in all the hospitals in the city.

The injured, few of whom are in a critical condition, have been transfered to the AKU Hospital.
