JNN 12 Aug 2012 TABRIZ – Two strong earthquakes struck northwest Iran on Saturday, killing 153 people and injuring more than 1,300 as buildings were reduced to rubble ,measuring 6.4  and 6.3 on the Richter scale that hit the Iranian province of East Azerbaijan in succession on Saturday. , Iranian officials said.
