Ahmadinejad: Iranian Nation a Source of Hope for All Nations


ahmadi10In the first televised speech after his re-election, the Islamic Republic of Iran’s President Dr. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad considered the glorious participation of people in June 12 presidential vote as a source of hope for all nations, across the world. According to IRIB, he underlined that today the Iranian nation has disappointed all the ill-wishers.
Addressing people during a televised speech on Saturday night, President Ahmadinejad congratulated the auspicious birth anniversary of daughter of Prophet of Islam Mohammad (Peace be upon him and his progeny), Hazrat Fatemeh (AS) and the festivity of the Iranian nation’s victory in 10th presidential election, while emphasizing: “We clearly see the blessings of Almighty and the 12th Infallible Imam of the Prophet’s Household Imam Mahdi (May God hasten his re-appearance), and the vigilance and intelligence of the great Iranian nation in this major scene.”
President Ahmadinejad, who has been elected for a second presidential term in office, reminded: “Although we have had decisive and glorious elections in Iran in the past, this election was held at a period in the global history that the world is on the verge of making a new choice.”
He noted: “Boundaries across the world and throughout economic and political scenes are changing and the international community eyes the Iranian nation.”
President added: “Our vigilant nation had an epical presence in the election. Almost 40 million people participated in a free and fair poll and this is a major record and source of honor, worldwide.”
President Ahmadinejad, in a landslide victory, gained more than 24 million votes and was elected as the Islamic Republic of Iran’s president for a second term in office.
