Syrian refugee women Murdered , Raped , Forced to Marry in Refugee Camps in Jordan, Turkey

Al Za tri Camp in Jordan

Al-Za’tri camp in Jordan

Read this report to know much which is revealed about a US conspiracy against Syria.

Two years past since Syrian crisis, which, to the testimony of friends and enemies of Syria, it was not a people’s revolution,  but a conspiracy to overthrow Syrian government and landing blow to axis of Resistance against Israel.

Syrian crisis has negative effect not only on Syrian government, but more also to Syrian people. Regardless of civilians killed in the crisis, thousands abandoned their homes in fear of their lives and homes, and get refuge in neighboring countries

Crisis centers in Syria

As the picture below shows, centers of crisis and conflict in Syria are in western and north western provinces of Quneitra, Swayda, Damascus, Homs, Tartus, Hamah, Latakia, Aleppo, and Idlib, where the majority of people have left their homes due to unfavorable living conditions.

Lebanon, Jordan, and Turkey, having borders with Syria, naturally host refugees from this country. The latest statistics given by Lakhdar Barahimi, UN special envoy to Syria in 2013, has exceeded 4 million.

Unfortunate conditions in camps

Turkey and Jordan have hosted the largest numbers of Syrian refugees, and Syrian people, in search of mental peace, and not physical peace, go to these camps. Camps such as Al-Za’tri in Jordan, located in the most severe geographical site, deserts of northern Jordan, with hot summer, and frigid winters, established in farthest point from populated areas. Living conditions are in such a desperate condition that so far, thousands of Syrian refugees have left the camps for their home in Syria, and hundreds have escaped to other Jordan cities, and every week, the news of unrest and conflict in these camps and crackdown by security forces of host countries are reported by the media. Refugees protested their bad living conditions in camps by resorting to strikes and rallies.

Conditions in Turkish camps, which host more than 80,000 Syrian refugees in 12 camps is not better than those in Jordan. Many cases of unrest take place by the refugees in Turkish camps, where the security forces of host country have been forced to intervene and disperse the protesters by teargas, batons, and air shooting. Refugees have protested for bad living conditions, lack of the least facilities for living. But bad conditions and failure to fulfill promises made are not to inflict pain to Syrians’ hearts; what is unfortunate and to be regretted, and brought about international awe, reports of new plights inflicted to Syrian refugees.

Syrian Refugee Victims of Rape and Forced Marriages

Syrian Refugee Women & Girls Victims of Rape and Forced Marriages

Al-Za’tri camp marriage mafia

The media has reported about several types of abusing Syrian refugee women and girls. For example, Walid Awad, a human rights activist, who works in providing humanitarian aid for Syrian refugees in Al-Za’tri camp in Jordan, points to marriage mafia in the camp. “ some Jordanian religious clerics and Sheikhs has recognized marriages under the banner of ‘supportive marriage,’ and ‘forced marriage’ for justifying rape of Syrian women and girls,” he says, and that “ those who want to marry a Syrian girl, simply marry them Amman, Arid, Ramtha, or Karak, and buy a Syria girl for only $ 100 or 200 for permanent marriage.

Faten, 29, is one such girl, however not sold, but has been victim to rape. While she cleans her tears by her scarf, accounts the painful memory of being raped by four camp guards. She is from Al Wa’ar in Homs, who was raped by four camp guards when she was going to public bath. She says she would never forget the ‘horrific’  nightmare.

Maltreatment while distributing food and humanitarian aid

Basma, 20, is a Syrian girl who has come to Al-Za’tri camp along with hundreds of refugees after all her family members were murdered by terrorists in Daraa. She has not been raped, however, she complains about maltreatment in distributing food and humanitarian aid among refugees.

Forced marriage

Basma points to forced marriage of Syrian girls. “Unfortunate and bad conditions governing Al-Za’tri camp has lured some wealthy men to grasp the opportunity to propose ‘apparent’ marriage to female refugees under the pretext of providing support for them,” she says. “I remember a man who came with his car to the camp and examined the appearance of girls and women in camp, and then ordered his aide to take photos of some of girls,” she adds.

Syrian women and girls for $ 150

Conditions in border region of Ramtha are the same, and refugees give accounts of harassment of Syrian teen girls, which has led to violence between camp residents and local people. Abu Tayr, a social activist, provides help to Syrian refugees. “You cannot see a company of Jordanians where they do not talk about trading Syrian women and girls only for $ 150. It is simply going to the camp and getting one of them,” he says

Syrian Women & Girls at Refugee camps

Unfortunate conditions of Syrian women and girls in camps

Turkish camps even more unfortunate

The condition of Syrian refugees in Turkish camps is not better than those of their compatriots in Jordanian camps. Refugees in camps such as Yayladağı, Altınözü, Hatay, Reyhanlı, Boynuyogun, and Kilis, not only are subject to maltreatment and the lack of food, but also they are subject to crackdown by Turk security forces who have abused girls and women.

Turkish media and internet news networks, including Aydınlık, report that since August 2012, 400 Syrian women have been raped, 250 being pregnant.

Syrian Children under condemnable Conditions at Refugee Camps

Deplorable child conditions in camps

Child malnutrition and mortality

To the testimony of Syrian women refugees living in camps, in one of the camps alone, more than 70 girls have been victim to rape, and as said before, this is in addition to plights of hunger, maltreatment, and contagious diseases rampant among the refugees especially children, which caused death of tens of children due to diarrhea. Add to this situation the mental and psychological problems the camp residents face daily.

Research on 300 children residing in Gaziantep camp by Bahçeşehir University department of Psychology emphasized that children in the camp suffered from depression, aggression, and anxiety. The camp dwellers give accounts of prisons which had surrounded by barbed wire with electricity and poisonous Flex component, and guarded by wards armed with warm weapons.

Trafficking Syrian refugees’ organs

Palestinian Al Manar Weekly wrote in one of its reports about Syrian refugee camps that a multi-national network, with Turkish, American, and French officials among them, has launched on Syrian refugees’ human organ trafficking.

The report adds that Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Turkish Prime Minister has prevented refugees returning to Syria, so that organ trafficking continues. The network murder Syrian refugees in the camps systematically and traffic their organs. Syrian refugees in Turkish camps are missing in daily basis, and the corpses of children are found in forests and mounts near the camps. A number of refugees who went for interview to security forces have not returned. Many of the refugees say that Turkish authorities were aware of rapes in Turkish camps, including in Boynuyogun camp in Altınözü region.

Turkish authorities are aware of the situation in camps

Syrian refugees in Boynuyogun camp say that the camp is presided over by a person called Abdu Aslanar. He has established a network offering girls and women among Syrian refugees to the costumers. The case has been exposed to Hatay province governor, and failure in handling the case by the governor and his attempt to cover the issue led to his and Abdu’s dismissal from their posts.

Terrorists are accomplice to rapists

Syrian refugees say rape cases are not limited to inside the camps, but that supported by Erdoğan’s government, started with the refugee exodus from crisis-stricken regions. In many cases, terrorists have forced the refugees to leave their homes against their own consent.  “Having been forced to abandon our homes, we crossed Turkish borders and settled in camps prepared by Turkish government, and ‘revolutionary’ terrorists, offered girls and women to Turkish military men for some cash, and when the present was young, the cash would be more,” a refugee says.

International medical groups expose the truth

The rapes were exposed when a UN and Doctors without Borders-affiliated groups entered the camps to examine the refugee health conditions. They were surprised when they found out many cases of pregnancies, while in majority of cases, pregnant had not been married or were women who had not met their husbands. The medical group also had treated 3 cases of teen suicide victims, who were victim to gang rape by Turk military and Syrian revolutionaries. The youngest girls raped by Turk military and revolutionaries were a girl of 13, who had entered Turkey to find peace and security along with her mother. A rape victim says that “I begged a Turkish military man not to rape me, since I was a Sunni like him, but he replied that I was a Syrian Sunni, and he was Erdoğangi Sunni.”

A Syrian mother: they raped my two daughters before my eyes

A Syrian mother gives an account of the rape of her daughters: “Turkish military men in the camp raped my daughters, Fatima and Wafa, before my eyes, and filmed the scene so that I could not reveal the issue. They threatened me to publish the films in case that I inform anybody about the case.”

These accounts were only a small part of plights Syrian refugees, especially women and girls, face daily in Turkish and Jordanian camps.

Ale Saud Annihilating Sunni Sect of Islam

Saudi Anhilating Sunni Sect of IslamJNN 04 Apr 2013 :  Like many social and biological systems, the success of religious movements is often a function of securing some type of evolutionary advantage. In simpler terms: better ideologies win while inferior ideologies vanish. Moses challenged Pharaoh and staged a rebellion with a bunch of slaves and his religious movement emerged successful. Jesus challenged the corruption of his time and offered an alternative ideology and his religious movement became victorious. In the thriving trade city of Mecca and among the warring tribes of Yathrib, Mohammad offered a new way of life and soon the entire Arabian Peninsula saw the rise of Islam. What was common among these powerful movements was the same fundamental evolutionary advantage: they offered greater social justice and a better way of life for their followers. Continue reading

Bahraini Protests starts Paying Off , as 21 Medics convictions reversed By Court , Pledges to get others freed

Bahriani Medic Released from JailJNN 30 Mar 2013 Manama , An appeals court in Bahrain has reversed the convictions of 21 medics arrested in connection to anti-government protests in 2011. Along with dozens of others, some of whom are still jailed, they helped treat the wounded in the mass unrest.

The physicians, nurses and other hospital workers were convicted last November on misdemeanor charges over their treatment of injured protesters, and for participating in “illegal assemblies.” Some of the accused said their convictions were based on false confessions extracted under torture.

They are now cleared from having to spend three months in prison or paying 200 dinars ($530). Two more similar cases remain open, as the suspects failed to appear in court.

The international medic community hailed the decision as a victory, but said the fight for justice is not yet over.

“The kingdom must now demonstrate a renewed commitment to civil and human rights by compensating the health professionals who were wrongly arrested, mistreated, and convicted; restoring all of those wrongly dismissed to their jobs; freeing others still serving prison sentences on similarly spurious convictions; and fairly prosecuting the officials responsible for these outrageous rights violations,” Dr. Deborah D. Ascheim, Physicians for Human Rights (PHR) board chair said.

“We need to see the accountability established. And those who are responsible of torturing the doctors and arresting the doctors and putting forth charges and crimes against the doctors and giving them all this pain, they should be brought to justice. This is the priority,” Dr. Nada Dhaif, one of the acquitted doctors told RT.

Dr. Nabeel Tammam, a surgeon at Salmaniya Medical Complex in Manama, is one of the 21 whose conviction was overturned. “We will continue our pressure until we gain the freedom of all the rest of the medics still in jail,” Dr. Tammam told PHR, “because we believe that they are innocent and that all they did was to perform their humanitarian duty.”

The acquitted medics were among the 82 workers arrested between February and March 2011 for providing medical treatment to protesters. The charges against them went as far as claiming they attempted to overthrow the regime.

In September 2011, 20 of the medics were sentenced to up to 15 years in prison. However, in 2012 they were retried by a civilian court. Nine of them had their sentences reduced to 1 to 3 years in jail; two, who remain at large, had their sentences sustained; nine were acquitted after being found innocent.

Anti-government protests have rocked Bahrain since February 2011, as demonstrators call for an end to the Al-Khalifa monarchy, which has ruled the country since 1974. Hundreds have been arrested, and thousands have lost their jobs. Scores of people have also testified that they were tortured during their arrest.

Bahraini human rights activists have unsuccessfully called on the international community to intervene, over what they have called a suppression of the country’s opposition. A common thread of discontent among protesters is over discrimination against the country’s Shiite majority at the hands of the predominantly Saudi Backed Wahabi government.

Nearly 100 people have been killed since the start of the uprising.
