The funeral prayers for two martyrs of firing incident in Quetta have been offered at Khair ul Amal Mosque (Saddat Colony Incholi) and at Mohammadi Dera Malir, karachi.

Earlier on Saturday, The bodies of Three Shia pilgrims, including a woman has arrived in Karachi via Bus. Hundreds of mourners of Imam Hussain (AS) received the martyrs at Karachi gate.

According to the Shiite News Correspondent, the funeral prayers of two pilgrims of Imam Hussain (AS) Salman Ahmed and Mohammad Abbas have been offered in Khairul Amal Mosque (Saddat Colony Incholi) and Mohammadi Dera Malir respectively, thousands of mourners attended the funeral prayers of the martyrs. Moreover, the funeral prayer of Mumtaz Fatiam will hold on Sunday at Khairul Amal Mosque after Zohrain prayers.

It may be noted here that three pilgrims killed in firing incident in Quetta when unidentified motorcyclists started firing on the pilgrims on way to Iran and Iraq to observe Chehlum (Arbaeen) Imam Hussain (AS).

Talking about the importance of honour, he said that when Yazid bin Mawiya was celebrating his so-called victory over the very fewer Army of Imam Hussain (AS) in the court of Syria, Hazrat Bibi Zainab delivered his great speech (Khutba) and turned the pride of evil (Yazid) into frustration and absolute defeat. “Muslims will be dishonoured if they continued to seek help from evil powers (USA). Muslims and Muslims’ society must be dignified because Momin (super degree of Muslim) never forget the lessons of pure respect and admiration,” he said.

Ayatollah Khamenei the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution met today with Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz and his accompanying delegation. In this meeting, His Eminence said that establishing relations and cooperating with Islamic countries is a basic principle in the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic. He further expressed hope that the Mauritanian President’s visit to Iran will help expand the cooperation between the two countries.

Ayatollah Khamenei referred to the decision made by the government of Mauritania to cut off diplomatic relations with the Zionist regime and said: “This measure was a lesson for some Arab governments because the Zionist regime poses a great threat to the world of Islam and is constantly seeking to increase its domination over the region.”

The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution said that the crimes committed by the Zionist regime in Gaza inflicted a wound on the body of Islamic Ummah and expressed his dissatisfaction with the stance taken by some Islamic governments in this regard.

Ayatollah Khamenei said: “Undoubtedly, the nations of the region will witness the collapse of the Zionist regime one day. The timing of this event will depend on the actions of Islamic countries.”

He further touched on the greed and domineering motives of western countries and said: “Western countries have never wanted to cooperate with or help the Islamic countries. And they have brought about corruption and destruction wherever they have stepped in.”

Ayatollah Khamenei said that the US is seeking to gain control over Africa and stated: “The US is after establishing a base for its armed forces in Africa which is a great danger. And African nations and governments should not let their homeland and country turn into a base for Americans.”

The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution further referred to the necessity for promoting the international position of Islamic countries and stated: “The Islamic Ummah needs to develop true unity and brotherhood among Islamic countries and not rely on international domineering powers if it wants to achieve the position it deserves.”

Ayatollah Khamenei also said that Iran is ready to share its experience in scientific and industrial fields with Islamic countries, including Mauritania.

In this meeting that was also attended by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Mr. Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz referred to the progress of the Islamic Republic in scientific, industrial, and technological fields and said that such progress is a source of honor for Muslim countries. He also said that the relations between the two countries should be expanded in different fields.

The President of Mauritania thanked the Islamic Republic of Iran for its efforts to promote peace and security in the region and the world.

At least five people were killed in a US drone strike in Pakistan’s tribal area near the Afghan border late Friday.

According to AFP, a local government official said the attack targeted a militant compound in Muhammad Khel, a town in North Waziristan.

He said “Initial reports say at least five people were killed and there are fears the toll may go up.”

A security official, who also confirmed the toll, said the drone fired three missiles.

Officials also said the site was used by foreign fighters but the identity of the suspected insurgents killed in the attack was not immediately known.

The office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) warned on Friday that a humanitarian crisis in northern Yemen was getting worse as the number of people displaced by the conflict there has grown to about 250,000.

It said the fighting has moved gradually from Saada city further northwest, while more people were fleeing from the province because they could not sustain themselves.

“The humanitarian crisis in Yemen is deepening and we now estimate that 250,000 civilians have been displaced since the country’s internal conflict flared in 2004,” UNHCR spokesman Andrej Mahecic said. “This represents a more than doubling of the number displaced as of August 2009 when the latest round of fighting erupted,” he told journalists.

The tally of displaced from the area, which is close to the border with Saudi Arabia, has grown by about one fifth in just over two weeks. About 12,000 of them have sought shelter in Yemen’s capital Sanaa, according to the refugee agency

Pakistan has reportedly sent an army combat unit to Yemen to join the war against the Shia fighters in the country’s north.

An informed source with the Pakistani daily Jang has said that a 300-strong unit of Special Forces has been deployed in Yemen.

US media reports say the US military and intelligence agencies are involved in joint operations with Yemeni troops.

Yemen launched a military offensive against the Houthi fighters in the northern Sa’ada Province last August. Saudi Arabia joined forces with the Yemeni government in November.

Sana’a accuses the Shia fighters of violating terms of a ceasefire in 2009 by taking foreign visitors hostage.

The Houthis accuse the Yemeni government of violating their civil rights and marginalizing them politically, economically, and religiously.

The Shia fighters say the offensives launched against the northern regions mostly target residential areas and result in civilian casualties.

Islamabad’s controversial decision is expected to cause public outrage in a country, which is similarly targeted by indiscriminate missile attacks.

The Pakistani public holds regular demonstrations to condemn Washington’s drone attacks on remote tribal areas bordering Afghanistan.

The US claims that the attacks are aimed at eliminating militant positions. However, they usually result in civilian casualties.

Islamic Revolution Leader Ayatollah Syed Ali Khamenei in a meeting with thousands of people from northern Mazandaran province Tuesday said there are many lessons in historical events that the nation could take in its future path, adding that different plots of enemy were futile during the past due to the faith and vigilance of people.Ayatollah Khamenei said some nations failed in their national aspirations because they were unprepared for facing with the challenges ahead and therefore their history could teach us to be ready for the threats ahead.

Ayatollah Khamenei then noted that in the past thirty years, the opponents of the Islamic System have made two major mistakes; they considered themselves superior to people and have relied on the enemies of the Iranian nation. “American authorities say they have approved a 45 million dollar budget to defeat the Islamic Republic through the Internet. This is the height of frustration of enemy because they have already spent many 45 million dollar sums in their fight against the Islamic System through diplomacy, sanctions, dispatching of spies, recruitment of henchmen and other methods, all futile,” the IR Leader said.

The Leader of Islamic Revolution referred to enemies’ inability to comprehend the reality of 1979 Revolution and power of the masses as the will of God and said the enemies of Iranian nation had long planned to incite riots in Tehran, but their efforts only made people become more determined in defending the Islamic Republic.

Hezbollah Secretary General Syed Hasan Nasrallah received the President of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq Syed Ammar al-Hakim and an accompanying delegation.

Addressing to protestors Allama Aftab Haider Jaffrey said that it is quite shocking that government is paying compensation to affected business men but the mourners who lost their lives their families still waiting for compensation even the government was trying to send the Ashura tragedy in oblivion which was quite shameful. He appealed to the government for prompt paying of compensation to all the families of mourners who lost their lives or injured in the Ashura procession.
Allama Furqan Haider Abadi, Allama Jaffar Raza Naqvi, Allama Baqar Zadi, also addressed on the occasion.

Ayatollah Khamenei the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution met this afternoon with Bharrat Jagdeo the President of Guyana and his accompanying delegation. His Eminence referred to Guyana’s independent foreign policies and reiterated: “The dominance of powerful countries and the domineering powers as well as dividing the countries of the world into dominant and dominated countries is the greatest oppression towards the global community. It is due to this reason that the Islamic Republic of Iran has always been opposed to global hegemony.”

Ayatollah Khamenei said that all the countries which are against domination and resist being dominated by other countries are friends of the Islamic Republic.

Ayatollah Khamenei referred to the dominance of the US and western countries over Latin American countries during the past years and stated that the people of Latin American countries have awakened and that they are after politicians who believe in national independence. He added that the results of the elections held in Latin American countries during the recent years are a testimony to this awakening.

The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution further referred to the areas of commercial and industrial cooperation between the two countries and said that the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to share its experience with its friendly countries.

His Eminence said that the membership of Guyana in the Organization of the Islamic Conference is another area of cooperation between the two countries.

Ayatollah Khamenei also expressed his sorrow over the Haiti earthquake and sympathized with the grief-stricken people of Haiti.

In this meeting, which was also attended by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the President of Guyana welcomed Iran’s presence in Latin America and the Caribbean region. He said: “Despite its proximity to America, Guyana adopts independent policies, and we are ready to make use of the experience of the Islamic Republic in different fields

Iran’s Majlis Speaker, Ali Larijani, has said that the strategy of the Islamic system is to establish unity, convergence and calm in the country.

According to IRIB, Larijani made these remarks in the city of Saveh, south of Tehran, on Friday.

Also, addressing the people of Tafresh city in Markazi Province, Larijani pointed out: “With the victory of Islamic Revolution the path was paved for Iran’s progress and following the development of universities and education of scientists and experts, we have currently gained resounding and major scientific accomplishments in the domains of nanotechnology, stem cells, aerospace, and peaceful nuclear energy.”

Tehran’s Interim Friday Prayers Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ahmad Khatami has described the ten day dawn celebrations, marking the victory of the Islamic revolution as an example of “The Day of God”.

Speaking to a large crowd of Friday prayers worshippers in Tehran, on the eve of the Ten-Day Dawn celebrations marking the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Tehran’s Interim Friday Prayers Leader, Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami stressed that the Islamic Revolution in Iran breathed new life into religion, reviving Islam and giving a new lease of life to Islamic countries.

Commenting on the importance of the Ten-Day Dawn celebrations, Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami urged officials in charge of organizing these celebrations to strive as much as possible to portray the full dimensions of the Islamic Revolution in Iran.

Tehran’s interim Friday prayers leader went on to stress the massive participation of the Iranian people in the 11th February (22 Bahman) national rallies, marking the victory of the Islamic Revolution, and reminded those officials in charge of organizing the Ten-Day Dawn celebrations that it is their duty to convey to the younger generation the background and the factors which led to victory of the Islamic Revolution.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami referred to guidelines issued by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution to all political groups and faction in Iran, particularly the elite and senior figures, emphasizing that continuation of rioting is against Iran’s constitutional law, and plays into then hands of Iran’s enemies, and is a betrayal of the Islamic Revolution, and a betrayal of the Iranian people.

Turning to the nuclear issue, Tehran’s interim Friday prayers leader said peaceful nuclear energy is the lawful and inalienable right of the Iranian people, and warned the enemies that the Iranian people will never forego or relinquish their lawful nuclear rights.

In further remarks, Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami expressed the Iranian nation’s sympathy with the quake-stricken people of Haiti , and forthrightly condemned the U.S. government’s dispatch of 18,000 military forces to Haiti, under the guise of helping Haitian earthquake victims.

Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami went on to warn regional countries who are normalizing their diplomatic relations with the Zionist regime of Israel that what they are doing amounts to sedition and will result in strife.
